There's another "Earth Hour" coming up where we're all supposed to turn off our lights and huddle in the darkness, knowing that we're saving the planet. I like this guy's idea better.
I paid to have a major family event with nearly 200 guests, catered and music which we arranged over 2 years ago for tomorrow night. No frickin way is the electricity going out for one hour, one minute or one second!
Saturday night I was at my brothers house. He, like us, does not follow the global warming, save the am-you-nels hype. At 8:30 he turned ON his porch lights and yard lights, at 9:30 he turned them off again.
It's precisely what I would have done. We looked, but saw NO houses darkened during the hour. I wish the utilities would report the % drop on the grid for that hour. I'll bet it was micro-minimal.
"THIS SATURDAY 28 MARCH AT 8.30PM YOU CAN VOTE EARTH BY SWITCHING OFF YOUR LIGHTS FOR ONE HOUR - EARTH HOUR."
ReplyDeletewho counts this vote? the dame people who are re-counting for Al Frankin??

ReplyDeleteObama's Army
Millions of Americans should gather in front of the huge homes of comrade Pelosi and fat Algore on 3/28 at 8:29PM, and just watch.
ReplyDeleteThe Earth was a fine place until the bipeds showed up and ruined everything

older one, thanks
ReplyDeleteSteve, you can bet the MSM won't have any interest in finding out how much electricity was saved, if any. It would make their masters look bad.
