  1. Powerful words.

It's the closed eyes and deaf ears that make me think the majority of people would sit on the sidelines, then follow a new gub'ment if we threw off the old one.

So long as 'merican Idol stays on the air, they don't give a rats hat who's running the country.

  2. Yes, those are powerful, accurate, and truthful words. But unfortunately, there's truth in Steve's words also. Generally speaking, the American people lack the will and brain-power to stop their country and govt. from being taken away from them. The "dumbing down of America" wasn't just a cute saying, it was a tactic used by the Left/MSM, and a very successful one at that.

  4. 1- Patrick Henry never said, "Give me liberty or give me death." What he said was, "My only regret is that I have but one life to give for my country."

2- I know of at least 3 distinct places in Manhattan where there are plaques which state: "On or near this spot Patrick Henry was hanged" by the British.
