The way I read this, a 70% majority passed a measure stating that Sharia law may not be used by the courts in Oklahoma. I always thought the the Constitution (state and federal) was what determined what was legal, not legal and punishment in this country. I guess some judges think that every nation's laws should be applicable in our country.

This is what happens when a nation of laws is turned into a nation of fools by foreigners. And as usual, there are those among us who are always willing to help our enemies. Radical Islam is finding that it takes less effort to get control of Amerika than the EU.

As I was saying, our courts formerly based on the Judeo-Christian ethic is being replaced by sharia law.

NO, NO, NO...what the OK people wanted was their judges to not be ALLOWED to look to sharia law for content or decisions. Here's why...
Last year a judge in ??? let some @$$hole OFF on an abuse / rape charge against his wife. Why? Because some shyster convinced the judge that Sharia Law was clear in that she was to be submissive to Achmed, and that Achmed didn't really GET 'merican law!!
The thinking people of OK just wanted the record set straight for the judges BEFOREHAND. Perhaps those three EX-judges in Iowa should have been practicing in OK where it gets outlined for them better, huh?
