I don't think he 'knows' he'll win, he just has NO concept that he WON'T! When has he ever failed before? To my knowledge, he's another lib / lawyer / academic who has never fallen down or skinned a knee.
Yeah, and he got participation trophies for everything he did.
God Forbid the young 'uns should actually be rewarded for achievement.
