I know some regulars here are beyond tired of HLF, and others respond to him (much to the chagrin of the first group).
I thought I would share the below definition and advice. Yes, I know, random web pages aren't the most scientific resource, but I don't know of this information being published in any other place. If you don't like this link, simply do a search on "Internet Troll", and you'll get plenty to choose from.

The object of this page is to bring together a definitive document to cover the utter sadness of the Internet troll. Usually, a troll is nothing more than a passing nuisance, but, as this page will show, they can be a worry (stalkers). However, it is almost invariably an inadequate individual who can be safely ignored.
This page will define the activity, and help with early recognition; once acknowledged, trolls can take up residence, and, like athlete's foot, can be difficult to shift.
So there you go boys and girls. We didn't ignore the troll, and now it's ours.

I NEVER ignore a slap in my face or an insult to a friend. I'm not made that way.
I was for blocking the scum sucking ass munch, but cooler heads prevailed. Said that we'd become them by censoring his views. If he had views I'd listen, all this twit has is rhetoric and insult.

Don't start an open blog if you don't want opposing views. I see conservative comments on liberal blogs all the time.

There is a HUGE difference in an "opposing point of view" and a useless pansy's blatant, pointless name-calling done for no other reason than to incite anger.

Give us your honest opinion, your honest thoughts, your honest opposing ideas, and see if we can't just get along, even with opposing ideas.
Quite frankly, your last two comments were the best I've seen in a while from you. I'll listen to most anyone who will argue the point. But I draw the line at insults and lies.
There it is, my honest offer of friendship and inclusion in our group. Hell, I'm for offering you author privileges too, if we can just have differing opinions, without name calling, and I'll start with no name calling on this one.

seriously, let's offer HLF what he says he can't find. An opposing view without BS and right wing hate. I made the offer and I was probably the loudest about ousting HLF. I meant what I said, give it a chance.
