High Courts Big Ruling "For" Gun Rights:
"The ruling builds upon the Court's 2008 decision in D.C. v. Heller that invalidated the handgun ban in the nation's capital. More importantly, that decision held that the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms was (a right the Founders specifically delegated to individuals.) The justices affirmed that decision and extended its reach to the 50 states. Today's ruling also invalidates Chicago's handgun ban."
Finally, a solid ruling from the SCOTUS that should keep the leftist Brady Campaign quiet for a while. As for me, i can't wait to see how "His Majesty" Bloomberg, NYC's little king, the nations #1 anti-gun zealot, is going to find a way around this. One thing's for sure, he'll try his best!

I spent a few minutes today watching DC's official "dog and pony" show. (a.k.a. the confirmation hearing for comrade Kagan) The one thing i couldn't help but notice was the fact that all the leftist Demoncrats were pissed-off about todays 2nd Amendment decision from the SCOTUS. I mean REALLY pissed!
BTW, Sen. Graham, the progressive RINO from SC was the only Repub to give Kagan glowing praise.
Don't think for a minute that these commie douche bag progressive are about to give up.
It's 5-4. They just need one more to tip the scale. I pray to God that it doesn't happen.

You're right Bill, they won't. They'll do everything they can to make it all-but imossible to get a legal gun, especially here in NYC. In Chicago, even after the SCOTUS decision, they've "lifted" their ban but have put so many restrictions in place that's it's almost worse than before. This will keep the lawyers busy for decades.

Many times when I am troubled or confused, I find comfort in sitting in my back yard and having a vodka and cranberry along with a quiet conversation with Jesus.
This happened to me again recently after a particularly difficult day I said, "Jesus, why do I work so hard?"
Jesus replied: "'People find many ways to demonstrate the Love they have for their family. You work hard to have a peaceful, beautiful place for your friends and family to gather."
I said, " thought that money was the root of all evil."
And the reply was, "No, the LOVE of money is the root of all evil. Money is a tool; It can be used for good or bad,"
I was starting to feel better, but I still had that one burning question, so I asked it. "Jesus,' I said, 'what is the meaning of life? Why am I here?"
He replied, "That is a question many have asked. The answer is in your heart and is different for everyone. I would love to chat with you some more, SeƱor, but for now, I have to finish your lawn."
My question is, why was it not 9 to 0?
5-4 was a signal to all the lawyers out there to keep trying.
i declare open season on commies.
Ya mean it hasn't been?
