AND WE ARE SUPPOSED TO CONTINUE PAYING 100% OF THEIR GENEROUS RETIREMENT? THEY HAVE SHUT DOWN SCHOOLS AS THEY DON'T WANT TO PAY 5.8% OF IT THEMSELVES ....REALLY?

Yet another case of greed, greed, greed from DEMOCRATS!!! I hope they fire the lying teachers they caught on film getting fake 'sick notes' from a doctor. Maybe the rest of those jerks would get the message then.

And BTW, that garbageman who made $110K in O/T, I did the math. His base salary is $50K. That makes O/T rates for him, regular O/T is $36 per hr, D/T is $48 per hr. He would have had to work about 75 to 85 hours per week, with NO vacation time to make that much O/T pay.

He is one of those areas that pay D/T PLUS several hundred tax payers dollars per day if you work all those Federal Holiday Mondays, Christmas Eve, etc, etc. But seriously, should anyone make $500 or $600 in a DAY for collecting garbage JUST because it's a holiday?

I don't begrudge anyone their HONEST earnings. But I did technical, dangerous work sometimes in my career and I NEVER made $48 an hour!!
