Coolest R/C Airplane I've ever seen!
I'm not an r/c guy, but I've worked with a few over the years. Most of the planes look realistic sitting still, but don't 'fly' like their bigger namesakes. Too much movement up and down, to jinky in turns, etc. This thing has "weight" and it slides around like the real thing.
.
Here's a video of a model B-29, touted as the Worlds largest R/C Airplane. I can't verify that, but this thing "moves" like a full sized plane. I don't think you could tell it was a model without other stuff n the frame to set the size.

Is this candidate wrong?
.
His name is Stephen Broden, he's from Texas, and he's read his Declaration of Independence.
.
Stephen Broden, a "constutionalist pastor" from Texas who won the Republican nomination for Texas’ 30th Congressional District, made a vaguely threatening statement at a Tea Party event last year. He described the federal government as “tyrannical” and said that “we have a constitutional remedy. And the Framers say if that don’t work, revolution.”
Yesterday, a political reporter for WFAA in Dallas-Fort Worth asked Broden to explain whether he was actually calling for violence against the federal government. After a “prolonged back-and-forth,” Broden said a violent overthrow is “on the table”:
.“If the government is not producing the results or has become destructive to the ends of our liberties, we have a right to get rid of that government and to get rid of it by any means necessary,” Broden said, adding the nation was founded on a violent revolt against Britain’s King George III.
Watson asked if violence would be in option in 2010, under the current government.
“The option is on the table. I don’t think that we should remove anything from the table as it relates to our liberties and our freedoms,” Broden said, without elaborating. “However, it is not the first option.”
I think it's a last ditch option of course. But the entire concept that "violence is not the modern way", or "we're too civilized now" to resort to violence, is EXACTLY why the Progressives think they can get away with their plans. I'm guessing the gub'ments in Greece and France thought violence wasn't gonna happen there either. Is the UK next?
.
Or us? Spelled U.S., of course.
.
I'm telling you, I think every elected MFer in DC should, everyday, think to themselves, "...shit, I could get shot for supporting the new HR 666 the "Fugg'em-they'll-never-notice-another-small- loss-of-freedoms Act of 2010."
.
And BTW, this is an ABC Affiliate station. It might be in Texas, but it's STILL the same network that hosts Babwah Wahwah, Whoopi, Joy, George Snuffleupogus, et al. Liberals are everywhere, even Texas. Having said that, I'd LOVE to hear the question that prompted that answer.

FLASH!! RuPaul joins Marines, headed for RECON Training!
Got your attention yet?
.
Is that the fear of gays in the military? That raving queens will join and affect force capabilities? Nobody's heard bitching when bull dikes are bosuns mates or tank mechanics. Do you really think the old fashioned, raving, drag queens are chomping at the bit to wear those drab desert camos? Gay Eye for the Sailor Guy? I don't think so.
.
I wish they'd throw it open so we can get on with killing people and breaking things to protect our country!!
.
Pentagon revises 'don't ask, don't tell' discharge procedures
.
I've said it before, I'll say it again, gays in the military are NOT a threat if they'll do their job. If they don't do their job or cause trouble, kick them out just like STRAIGHTS who don't do their job or who cause trouble.
.
And yes I know the argument that they'll say it's because they are guy.
.
You'd have to build a case for discharging a straight person too!! Where's the difference? I remind anyone who would still listen, that these same arguments were used to keep blacks and women out of the service. The country didn't fall apart and we've not lost a war because of their admittance. And I say that as someone who thinks women should NOT be admitted!

The Illusion Of Privacy
The other night, i received what was most likely a computer-generated call to my unpublished, private home phone, the one that's listed on the "National Do Not Call Registry", from a political polling organization in Oregon. Oregon! I didn't answer. They called twice more within the next hour. Are computers exempt from observing my privacy requests? Apparently so.
Today, security, especially as it relates to terrorism, is the reason most often used when our "privacy" is messed with, or ignored completely. But what does my bank, or CC company, or catalog company have to do with terrorism? And how much longer will we continue to fool ourselves into believing that we have any privacy at all?
BTW, Is it just me, (and Steve) or is it getting awfully lonely around here?

Screw Free Speech, NPR Fires Juan Williams for Muslim Remarks
.NPR terminated its contract this evening with Juan Williams, who worked with them as a senior political analyst, after Williams appeared on Bill O’Reilly and spoke of a “Muslim dilemma:”
The move came after Mr. Williams, who is also a Fox News political analyst, appeared on the “The O’Reilly Factor” on Monday. On the show, the host, Bill O’Reilly, asked him to respond to the notion that the United States was facing a “Muslim dilemma.” Mr. O’Reilly said, “The cold truth is that in the world today jihad, aided and abetted by some Muslim nations, is the biggest threat on the planet.”
Mr. Williams said he concurred with Mr. O’Reilly.
He continued: “I mean, look, Bill, I’m not a bigot. You know the kind of books I’ve written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous.”
.Williams qualified his remarks by saying in effect that, "...you can't say we have a Christian Dilemma, because of Timothy McVeigh".
.
When the TRUTH and someone's personal FEELINGS can't be said aloud without firings, the fecal matter is hitting the rotating wind machine for certain!!.
.
Here's the question, will Juan change camps now that his lib buddies have shown their true colors?

Mr. Celente, meet Mr. Sarkozy and Mr. Cameron
A little over 18 months ago I was introduced to the prognosticator Gerald Celente, via another blog. Celente is the trending analyzer who predicted the fall of the USSR, the Dot Com Bubble and our current economic mess via the Mortgage Bubble.
.
My look into Celente had me giggling to start with, then I re-read what he said. What he said was that we are about to spiral in, go down the toilet, and fall apart as a country. He predicted that, most probably as I recall, the EU would fall first.
.
Well, first Greece, now France and evidently soon the UK are fallen. Can we be far behind? Are we set for another Civil War? And I'll bite, if you think not, please tell me why the hell not!!

Benedictus, Episcopus, Servus Servorum Dei
Did anyone see the video, released today in the U.S., of the Muslim gentleman DANCING atop the main altar at the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore, in Florence, Italy last week? Where is the liberal, elite outrage at this performance? Where are Whoopi and Joy NOW?
.
Let me say for the record that I'm not anti-Muslim, but I am anti-trashing someone's religious beliefs. And I'm always anti-dual standard. So, I'm proposing a Papal Bull calling for death, murder and beheadings, Koran burnings, car bombs and a karaoke / break dancing contest atop the Dome of the Rock!!!!

| Obama to appear on episode of 'Mythbusters' |
President Obama will appear on an episode of Mythbusters, a television show that uses science to determine the truth behind urban legends.
The White House says the episode will air Dec. 8 on the Discovery Channel.
Discovery says the episode considers this question: Did Greek scientist Archimedes set fire to an invading Roman fleet using only mirrors and the reflected rays of the sun?
.I know their ratings are down, but I doubt this will help.

ON NOVEMBER 2nd VOTE THEM ALL OUT OF OFFICE!,
An Indian walks into a cafe with a shotgun in one hand and the other hand pulling a male buffalo with the other. He says to the waiter:
"Want coffee."
The waiter says, "Sure, Chief. Coming right up."
He gets the Indian a tall mug of coffee.....
The Indian drinks the coffee down in one gulp, turns and blasts the buffalo with the shotgun, causing parts of the animal to splatter everywhere and then just walks out.
The next morning the Indian returns. He has his shotgun in one hand, pulling another male buffalo with the other.
He walks up to the counter and says to the waiter:
"Want coffee."
The waiter says, "Whoa, Tonto! We're still cleaning up your mess from yesterday. What was all that about, anyway?"
The Indian smiles and proudly says,
"Training for position in United States Congress, come in, drink coffee, shoot the bull, leave mess for others to clean up, disappear for rest of day."
ON NOVEMBER 2 VOTE THEM ALL OUT OF OFFICE!

OK Class, do you see any missing? Buehler, Buehler, Buehler...no? How about these two.
| 1774 | 1st Continental Congress is 1st to declare colonial rights, Philadelphia |
1774 | 1st American colonial decl of rights with sinking of Peggy Stewart (a tea ship, Annapolis MD) |

Imagine that. In a state where they depend on LIBERAL Democrat votes to stay in power, they mailed out military absentee ballots late. And we know they'd NEVER intentionally under cut the votes of those who traditionally vote the other fucking way, now WOULD THEY!!?!

Plus, he doesn't like Camp David, doesn't like (and probably can't run) technology and wants to set the record straight on Republicans. Let's face it, he finally has a job where he cannot hide behind rhetoric or "Present" only votes. And believe it or not, the NYT is reporting it. I'm supposing they want us to feel sorry for him, and the Dems, before Nov 2nd.
.
And best of all, as if I believe this to be true.
.
He also predicted that in the next two years, his administration would focus less on trying to pass new legislation and more on implementing and consolidating what passed in the first two years.
“Even if I had the exact same Congress, even if we don’t lose a seat in the Senate and we don’t lose a seat in the House, I think the rhythms of the next two years would inevitably be different from the rhythms of the first two years,” he said. “There’s going to be a lot of work in this administration just doing things right and making sure that new laws are stood up in the ways they’re intended.”
.Yeah, and if a bull frog had wings, it wouldn't bump it's ass! Oh yeah, and as we suspected, shovel ready jobs were a myth. So where DID the money go?

SENIOR Citizens my @$$!
Well, well, well. After giving MY tax dollars to the worthless financial humps all over the country. who caused the economic problems, I find out now that I get NO yearly increase in my SSD check.
.
Senior citizens brace for Social Security freeze
.Seniors prepared to cut back on everything from food to charitable donations to whiskey as word spread Monday that they will have to wait until at least 2012 to see their Social Security checks increase.
The government is expected to announce this week that more than 58 million Social Security recipients will go through a second straight year without an increase in monthly benefits. This year was the first without an increase since automatic adjustments for inflation started in 1975.
“I think it’s disgusting,” said Paul McNeil, 69, a retired state worker from Warwick, R.I., who said his food and utility costs have gone up, but his income has not. He lamented decisions by lawmakers that he said do not favor seniors.
“They’ve got this idea that they’ve got to save money and basically they want to take it out of the people that will give them the least resistance,” he said.
Cost-of-living adjustments are automatically set by a measure adopted by Congress in the 1970s that orders raises based on the Consumer Price Index, which measures inflation. Social Security benefits will remain unchanged as long as consumer prices remain below the level they were at in 2008, the last time a COLA was awarded.
Still, seniors like McNeil said they’ll be thinking about the issue when they go to vote, and experts said the news comes at a bad time for Democrats already facing potentially big losses in November. Seniors are the most loyal of voters, and their support is especially important during midterm elections, when turnout is generally lower.
.I'm planning on going back to work P/T anyway, but this still pisses off. And I've NOT heard, no can I find information, about Congress UNvoting themselves their annual AUTOMATIC raise this year. Have you?

When Is Enough, Enough?
The below link, (if true) is something we "might" expect to see coming from N. Korea, Venezuela, Iran, or any other country where the people are simply powerless slaves of the state, assuming even they have the nerve to go this far. Even places like Russia and China have evolved passed this kind of conduct. If true, it is the kind of govt. abuse that pushes freedom-loving people to "action", and i don't mean voting...

Surprised?
Case in point; A few years ago, NYC's Napoleon Bloomberg went on TV and stated, "400,000 children die every year in NYC from second hand smoke". No proof, no documentation, no streets covered with little bodies. And of course, not one word of challenge from the Leftist media, which is how they get away with making these bizarre statements.

No Racism involved here...well, maybe a little
.
I hate to say this, but given lay offs, closed businesses, lost homes, no new money in their pockets and a crappy economy all over, the ONLY possible reason for liking him is his SKIN COLOR!!!.
.
If 91% of white people backed ANYTHING, the ACLU, NAALCP and all the other anti-American nut groups would be screaming their heads off. But racism TOWARD a black elected officials is not only acceptable, be allowed and lauded as their fair share.
.
(oddly, I live just 5 miles from Smithfield NC where, when I was a teen, there used to be a billboard supporting the KKK. Odd that it's NOT allowed, free speech be damned, not allowed for white rednecks to be nigger haters, but it's OK for black liberals to be nigger lovers)
Youth in Asia, ain't what it used to be! Then again.
.
Let's not mention when the Pope had the audacity to speak out against abortion. But times have changed. We've taken a step back 80 years to the 1930's and the aforementioned powers of evil.
.
Here's a clip of some "well meaning", pointy headed liberal saying she would smother her own child if it was suffering!! That alone is crazy, but look at the ClergyWOMAN sitting next to her. She's shocked, but says NOTHING!! Jesus would be spinning in his grave if not for that whole Easter Sunday rising from the dead thing.
.
Let me state clearly that I think suffering people should have a choice that neither doctors or lawyers should be able to interfere with, but NO ONE should have the power this woman advocates.
.
I'd love to talk to her kids, if she has any that weren't aborted. Tip of the hat to Glenn Beck's new "The Blaze" online magazine for this one.

America's smartest cities
NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Ever wonder what happened to your high school valedictorian? He or she might just have wound up in Washington, D.C. That metro area has the nation's highest percentage of residents with college degrees.Call it America's brainiest place to live.
In the District and surrounding suburbs, 47.3% of people 25 years or older have bachelor's, master's, professional school or doctorate degrees, according to new Census Bureau data released Tuesday. The national average barely tips 25%.
The figures don't surprise John Schmitt, senior economist with the Center for Economic and Policy Research in D.C. The city is built on jobs that require degrees.
"There's a very high share of federal government employees here," he said, "and people dealing with the federal government, including defense contractors, lobbyists, businesses that want to influence the regulatory process; there's lots of lawyers."
"Clearly, the biggest factor is still the presence of federal government jobs," he added. "But a lot of people in the 20s and 30s come here interested in public policy. There's an excitement about being in Washington, especially among young people who want to make a difference in the world."
Yeah, lots of lawyers, that's the answer! If you'll look at the charts in the article, you'll see most of Americas commie / lib enclaves. Who says there's no liberals indoctrination in college? If 80% of college graduates left with a degree and infested with FLEAS it would be called an epidemic. But getting them indoctrinated to vote to the left is called Higher Education!.

Chucky Shumer FINALLY did something right.
And it only took him about 40 years of public service.
.
On Wednesday, the Senate passed a bill that will require television stations and cable companies to turn the sound down on commercials.
It unanimously passed a bill, co-sponsored by Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), that would require commercials be at the same volume as the programs they interrupt.
In 1984, the Federal Communications Commission said there was no way to regulate the "apparent loudness" of commercials, but Schumer said, "TV viewers should be able to watch their favorite programs without fear of losing their hearing when the show goes to a commercial."
The House already passed similar legislation, though there are minor differences that will need to be worked out after the Nov. 2 election and before the bill becomes a law.
.Why couldn't they do this months ago instead of monkeying around with health care?
