Wow, i find this story (as reported) hard to believe. When it comes to emergency services, (Fire, Police, EMS) i must say, NYC is among the very best, especially when it comes to response time. But, i would be very interested in seeing the two EMS workers in question. The reason i say that is because some years ago, NYC embarked on a campaign of "diversity" in it's work force, and we all know what that means.
If the facts are as reported, this is an outrage, albeit a very rare one. One thing's for sure. It's going to take a very big truck to carry off the settlement check the city's going to have to write for this one.
The EMT's named are Jason Green, 32 and Melisa Jackson, 23, who sources say are "romantically involved". Green is a 6 year veteran and Jackson a 4 year veteran of the department.

Although they were working as dispatchers, they are EMT's and as such "not my job" does not cut it here. It's the union spin trying to protect their own. Also, it took the restaurant workers to call rather than these "dispatchers" who were not to be bothered "on their break".
That's true. Their actions (or lack of action) is inexcusable. Unfortunately, i really doubt they'll be fired, as they should be. Why?
Some years ago, (and Bill O might remember this) NYC elected it's first, and so far, it's only black mayor, David Dinkins. He was a total failure as mayor, and was not known for being "pro-White", if you know what i mean. In his last week in office, he "loaded" the city's payroll with blacks who would not have other wise been qualified. These were, for the most part, civilian positions in city agencies and didn't require a civil service exam, simply "a word" from City Hall.
Once intrenched in their new jobs, (and thanks to diversity and PC) these people became "untouchables". Today, these people still make up a major portion of the city's official work force, mostly in office/clerical type jobs. And they're even more untouchable than they were before. And, when dealing with most of them, their "arrogant attitude", usually saved for Whites, but not always, will tell you they're very aware that they can't be touched. And with Odumbo in the WH, that attitude has only increased x1000.
