As for Sheriff Joe, i assume (hope) he's taking this threat seriously. Mexico and the US are filled with illegals who would kill you for $10. For $1 Mil, they'd wipe-out an entire city, especially if ordered by a cartel. If i were the Sheriff, i'd bus every illegal i caught right into DC and dump them on the WH lawn.
As for the Nun killed by the drunken illegal, why did ICE release him when he was scheduled for deportation? Did they actually think they'd see him again? Or, are these ICE's new standing orders? (which would come from the DOJ)

Assassinating Arpaio could have a similar outcome as the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria in 1914.

The problem is, the cartels have an almost 100% success rate when it comes to assassinating their targets. And yet, there are still those who think the real war is in Iraq and Afghanistan, when in fact, it's right here. And we're losing this one too.

I heard a quote on my "Rush Radio" station this morning from one of the Minuteman big shots. He paraphrased two known sayings together to the effect of,
"...tell MS-13 that IF they kill Arpaio, they need to look up Isoroku Yamamoto. Killing the sheriff will awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve, and when he comes, he's bringin' hell with him!"
The latter part of the quote is Kurt Russell as Wyatt Earp in "Tombstone", just before he sets out on the "Vendetta Ride".
I also heard they were thinking of doing another Minute Man event along the AZ Border. If they do, I may go down there this time. Because, all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

Uh...as the father of two guys who've been over there, lost friends there and would go back if asked, I object to the word WASTED.
Wasted as in (for no good reason). So what is that good reason that we should pay such a high price and what will we have to show for it?
Initially, there was a good reason. Stopping the Islamofascists.
But somewhere along the line, we got off mission.
