CNN's Only Moderate Quits
Last night, five minutes into his show, he told his vast audience it would be his last show. Personally, i was stunned because i know how CNN values his ratings. ($$) But, i'm also aware of how much serious pressure CNN has been under from the highly-organized Marxist groups who control the illegal immigrant movement. They've seen Dobbs as their #1 target because he has exposed them to the entire nation.
A couple of weeks ago, someone fired several shots at him and his wife while they were standing in front of their NJ home. Could it have been connected to his stance on illegals? IMO, yes, but i don't believe that's what made him quit. Is he tired of being the only non-Left voice at CNN? I don't believe so, since he knows he's the #1 guy there. Or perhaps, since many people have been asking him to seek high political office, could that have been the reason? I doubt that also, since it would not have made him quit, on-air, right in the middle of his show.
I would imagine the full story will be coming out soon. Since he's been a strong critic of the Left-wing MSM, i'm sure they'll do all they can to get the facts out, especially if they make Dobbs look bad or wrong in some way...

Denial. It's Not Just A River
For our present govt. and many of it's agencies, what we're seeing is not a pretty picture because it's forcing them to deal with reality, something that has become very "un-PC". You see, in 21st century Amerika, it seems we are ruled by two ideas, political correctness and diversity. And counter ideas have been deemed "anti-social" by the Leftists who rule us. As i've said many times, our addiction to political correctness will be our downfall. Not terrorism, but PC! In a short period of time, it has changed how we speak, how we view the world and each other, how we think, how we vote, and how we respond to serious threats to our very lives. PC has become the new Kool-Aid.
It is now becoming clear that political correctness, and the numbing fear of possibly offending someone or something, may be the reason the Mooselamb TERRORIST was able to slaughter our warriors at Ft. Hood. Perhaps, had the totally-PC'ized clowns at the top levels of our military shown more concern for our troops than they do for being appropriately PC, those brave soldiers might still be alive today. Maybe, if the PC'ized pansies who run the FBI, the CIA, and the Dept. of Homeland Stupidity, been more concerned with protecting this country, than they are with protecting their careers, those fine warriors at Ft. Hood would be hugging their loved ones now, instead of looking up at dirt.
The American sheeple must rise up and "demand" answers as to how this was allowed to happen. They must also demand to know why there are more like-minded Mooselambs in our military, a fact that the TERRORIST killer himself warned them about. And, they must demand that people at the top be made to pay for this outrage. Not just some govt. clerk somewhere, but the fools at the top, else this will become a common occurrence...

Prime (It's About) Time Execution
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,573090,00.html
9PM scheduled execution. Get out your Tivo's.
SERIOUS WARNING!!
Personally, i believe anyone convicted of a violent crime against a child, and that would include sexual abuse of any kind, to any degree, should be summarily executed. Unfortunately, the powers-that-be don't have the common sense to put me in charge of such matters. If they did, such crimes would cease in a week!
On the other hand, there are also many cases where the mere allegation of such a crime, even a false allegation, is enough to totally destroy someones life. (i've seen it happen) That they are later proved to be innocent doesn't help. The "mark" is carried for life. BE AWARE!!

American President?
George W. Bush Secretly Visits Fort Hood Victims:
The Bushes entered and departed the sprawling military facility in secret, having told the base commander they did not want press coverage of their visit, a source told Fox News.
Former President George W. Bush and his wife Laura secretly visited Fort Hood last night and spent "considerable time" consoling those who were wounded in Thursday's shooting spree, Fox News has learned.
The Bushes entered and departed the sprawling military facility in secret, having told the base commander they did not want press coverage of their visit, a source told Fox News. The couple was described as "deeply concerned" about military families on Fort Hood after Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan allegedly opened fire on soldiers and civilians, killing 13 and wounding 30. The Bushes, who have a 1,600-acre property known as Prairie Chapel Ranch less than 30 miles from Fort Hood in central Texas, spent between one and two hours visiting the wounded and their families.
And the response from yo president?

Give up?
.
The first set is the life span of the Berlin Wall.
.
Tomorrow is the anniversary of the Berlin Wall coming down. It was, for 38 years of my life, the very symbol of oppression. A barrier between those of us who lived in freedom, and those who were under the control of an overbearing government. All run by a central committee who had people imprisoned for not following the rules.
.
It's more than just a little ironic, that the country that forced the Soviet Union into capitulation, is now quickly becoming one of most socialized countries of the western world. It is more galling still to those of us who fought the Cold War.
.
I know about other wars that we've fought. But this one was a 50 year staring contest, and the other guy blinked.
From August 1945, to November 1989, the grand majority of us who served in the military, fought ONLY that war. And it looks to me, like we lost it.
.
To use a common 21st century short hand, I just hope American Revolution 2.0 is a short one. I'm not young anymore, and I'd like to see my grandsons grow up.
.
I'd like to see them have a future. But this morning that future looks bleak. They are about to inherit that which I served to defeat. An overbearing central government.
.
And just for the record, it took me thirty minutes to write this far. It was a little hard to see through tears. If you think that makes me weak or a wimp, it's still, this morning anyway, your right to think what you want. But I always cry when something or someone dear to me dies, or I hear that the dear thing is very sick and may be dying.
.
And now my last few lines.
.
Last night was "it" for me, and this morning is the result.
.
There is simply too much to do, to sit here even a few hours a day, pouring my energy into words on a screen. I'm going to find some way, to be more active in my community at a grass roots level, to save my country. I took an oath once to do that. And by my own admittance this morning, to you my friends,
.
I have not lived up to my oath.
.
I have bitched, complained and voted, and that's about it. It's not enough. I allowed my inactivity to keep my current Congressman, the (dis)Honorable Brad Miller, in office way beyond his usefulness to my district. He voted FOR last nights abortion. He is way too liberal, to represent even my district, even though we have a major university smack in the middle of the district. Real Americans should not be out voted by liberals in academia, or their liberal friends in the neighborhood. And that's all a Congressional District is, a big neighborhood.
.
I'm going to find the NC Republican Party headquarters this week, and I'm donating this blogging time, to me grandsons, via that office. I'm going to find old fashioned, cast iron, conservative, constitutionalists to back for ALL public offices. I even want my dogs picked up by conservative dog catchers.
.
A war was declared long ago, against America, by believers in socialism / communism. Last night, they fired directly into my home. Yes, I know they've fired at me before, but this one went right through the kids rooms. I'm going to try to see to it that it doesn't happen again.
.
Many of you, my friends, have my e-mail address. Don't be strangers. And Jimbo, Paradise isn't in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, living among the lotus eaters, and uber-liberal voters. It's in Texas, among bbq cooks, Shiner Bock and cowboys.
.
Go home, while you still have the option buddy. Money ain't everything.

House Committee of Ways and Means Republicans
| |
Today, Ranking Member of the House Ways and Means Committee Dave Camp (R-MI) released a letter from the non-partisan Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) confirming that the failure to comply with the individual mandate to buy health insurance contained in the Pelosi health care bill (H.R. 3962, as amended) could land people in jail. The JCT letter makes clear that Americans who do not maintain “acceptable health insurance coverage” and who choose not to pay the bill’s new individual mandate tax (generally 2.5% of income), are subject to numerous civil and criminal penalties, including criminal fines of up to $250,000 and imprisonment of up to five years.
In response to the JCT letter, Camp said: “This is the ultimate example of the Democrats’ command-and-control style of governing – buy what we tell you or go to jail. It is outrageous and it should be stopped immediately.”
Key excerpts from the JCT letter appear below:
“H.R. 3962 provides that an individual (or a husband and wife in the case of a joint return) who does not, at any time during the taxable year, maintain acceptable health insurance coverage for himself or herself and each of his or her qualifying children is subject to an additional tax.” [page 1]
- - - - - - - - - -
“If the government determines that the taxpayer’s unpaid tax liability results from willful behavior, the following penalties could apply…” [page 2]
- - - - - - - - - -
“Criminal penalties
Prosecution is authorized under the Code for a variety of offenses. Depending on the level of the noncompliance, the following penalties could apply to an individual:
• Section 7203 – misdemeanor willful failure to pay is punishable by a fine of up to $25,000 and/or imprisonment of up to one year.
• Section 7201 – felony willful evasion is punishable by a fine of up to $250,000 and/or imprisonment of up to five years.” [page 3]
When confronted with this same issue during its consideration of a similar individual mandate tax, the Senate Finance Committee worked on a bipartisan basis to include language in its bill that shielded Americans from civil and criminal penalties. The Pelosi bill, however, contains no similar language protecting American citizens from civil and criminal tax penalties that could include a $250,000 fine and five years in jail.
“The Senate Finance Committee had the good sense to eliminate the extreme penalty of incarceration. Speaker Pelosi’s decision to leave in the jail time provision is a threat to every family who cannot afford the $15,000 premium her plan creates. Fortunately, Republicans have an alternative that will lower health insurance costs without raising taxes or cutting Medicare,” said Camp.
According to the Congressional Budget Office the lowest cost family non-group plan under the Speaker’s bill would cost $15,000 in 2016.

Gee, isn't this the infamous queen who just loves lecturing and looking down at we mere mortals? Isn't this the same Barney who insults and berates anyone who dares to disagree with him/her/it? And isn't this the same Barney who got caught running an "escort service" for young men out of his tax-payer funded DC apartment a few years ago? (that case disappeared like one of David Copperfield's stage props) Since i have yet to see him/her/it being hauled out of congress in handcuffs, old Barney seems to living a charmed life!
In fact, isn't this the same cretin who forced Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to make home loans to people who had no way of paying them back, thereby causing the financial meltdown that we're in? As punishment for that little move, the congressional slob was put in charge of fixing our financial crisis! Now that's what i call democracy...

I've been to Enid OK, all I saw was chickens and ho's
I used to go to Arkansas, and Oklahoma all the time, when I was in the poultry business. Enid is a big chicken processing town. And for some reason, there were a lot of the women / girls that worked in the hatcheries there, who were kinda slutty. Ho'ish, slatternly, loose, give it up for dinner and a ride home. Twice I had slutty hatchery girls show up at my hotel. (one of them brought a girlfriend too) I was happily married and the thought of bedding slutty hatchery girls, never tripped my trigger. Lots of new born chicks, and horny cow girl chicks. Ah, fond memories of Enid.
.
But I NEVER saw any elephants running loose!! And IF I had seen the elephant, I think I could have stopped!!
.
Circus elephant that escaped and was hit by SUV OK

It's pretty flat there, around Enid, an elephant should have been very easy to see, as it was RUNNING DOWN THE INTERSTATE!!

Friday Funny...and we need it.
On his 74th birthday, a man got a gift certificate from his wife. It paid for a visit to a medicine man living on a nearby reservation who was rumored to have a wonderful cure for erectile dysfunction.
After being persuaded, he drove to the reservation, and handed his ticket to the medicine man. The old shaman produced a small bottle, handed it to him and, with a grip on his shoulder, warned, "This is powerful medicine and must be respected. You take only a teaspoonful and then say '1-2-3'. When you do that, you will become more manly than you have ever been in your life and you can perform as long as you want."
As the man turned to leave he asked, "How do I stop the medicine from working?" "Your partner must say '1-2-3-4,' " the medicine man responded. "But when she does, the medicine will not work again until the next full moon."
Very eager to see if it really worked, the man rushed home, showered, shaved, took a spoonful of the medicine, and then invited his wife to join him in the bedroom. When she came in, he opened his robe and said, "1-2-3!" Immediately, he was the manliest of men.
His wife became very excited and began throwing off her clothes. Breathing hard, she said, "What was the 1-2-3 for?"
And that, boys and girls, is why we should never end our sentences with a preposition, because we could end up with a dangling participle.

We Must Be "Aggressive" To Fight "Progressives"

Female Police Officer Credited With Stopping Fort Hood Massacre, Hailed a Hero

How does a person, any person, shoot approx. 43 people on an army base? Does the Marine barracks in Beirut, Lebanon ring a bell? Why did it take a civilian officer, and a cute female one at that, to shoot the terrorist? Does New Life Church in Colorado ring a bell? Were there no MP's around, male or female?
Munley and her partner responded within three minutes of reports of gunfire on Thursday, Lt. Gen. Bob Cone said Friday. "It was an amazing and an aggressive performance by this police officer," Cone said.
It was amazing and aggressive but 3 minutes AFTER reports of gunfire? Come on guys!

He might have been posting to radical Muslim sites? But they didn't try to see if it WAS Hasan, until now. He's been trying to get out, but they wouldn't let him go. Why not?

All I'll say is, it's NEVER a guy named Bob, Dave or Steve.
.
FORT HOOD, Texas — A military mental health doctor facing deployment overseas opened fire at the Fort Hood Army base on Thursday, setting off on a rampage that killed 11 other people and left 31 wounded. Authorities killed the gunman, and the violence was believed to be the worst mass shooting in history at a U.S. military base.
The shooting began around 1:30 p.m., when shots were fired at the base's Soldier Readiness Center, where soldiers who are about to be deployed or who are returning undergo medical screening, said Lt. Gen. Bob Cone at Fort Hood.
"It's a terrible tragedy. It's stunning," Cone said.
A law enforcement official identified the shooting suspect as Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the case publicly.
Two other soldiers taken into custody following the deadly rampage were later released, the office of a Texas congressman said. A spokesman for Rep. John Carter says Fort Hood officials informed Carter's office of the release. Carter's congressional district includes the Army base.
A Fort Hood spokesman could not confirm that the two had been released.
It was unclear what the motive was. U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison said the Army major was about to deploy overseas, though it was unclear if he was headed to Iraq or Afghanistan and when he was scheduled to leave. Hutchison said she was told about the upcoming deployment by generals based at Fort Hood.
.
So, Nidal Malik Hasan, was openly against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, but he was still in the Army and about to be deployed. Somebody's ass ought to be in a HUGE sling over this one.

As countries go, we, the United States, suck.
...and we suck so bad, ONLY 165 million people would like to move here.
.
Some 700 million people worldwide, or more than all the adults of North and South America combined, think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence and want to permanently move to another country, a poll showed Tuesday.
Residents of sub-Saharan African countries were the most likely to want to move abroad permanently, the polls conducted in 135 countries between 2007 and this year by Gallup showed.
On average, 38 percent of the adult population in sub-Saharan Africa, or around 165 million people, said they would up stakes and head for another country if they had the chance.
The most popular destination was the United States, where nearly a quarter of the 700 million -- around 165 million people -- said they would like to settle.
In joint second were Britain, Canada and France, each being named as the preferred destination of around 45 million people.
Thirty-five million said they would go to Spain, 30 million to Saudi Arabia, and 25 million each to Australia or Germany.
.
I'm guessing that 30 million people who want to go to Saudi, are already Muslims. Otherwise I don't get the draw.
.
But how bad do we REALLY look to "the world", if that number of people want to move here? Perhaps BHO should un-apologize now? I'm not holding my breath though. Maybe they're coming for the Obamacare?

3. Terminator Blanca – the Terminator must travel back to N. Africa , during WWII, to buy guns to kill John Connor, who ran there from Paris. Ultimately, John escapes with Ilsa, that Norwegian dude gets a hill of beans. The robots join the Nazis, the Nazis are their kinda guys. The robots get to Hiroshima on a secret mission for the Fuhrer, just as a lone plane flies over…

5. Terminating in the Rain – John Connor attempts to hide in the chorus line of, “A Chorus Line”. But the liquid metal robot shows up morphed into the form of another male dancer, and you know how they are...happily ever after in the West Village. Nobody dies, they simply love everybody!!

Memoes are flying from the DNC Office
Here's the scoop, even though the coverage is sparse at the national level, the Republicans are making a surge. Elections this year are a bell weather I think.
.
So the MSM is attempting to get in front of the elections of 2010, with articles like this.
.
GOP victory Tuesday won't erase party's problems
.
While I agree that it's up hill, and the Republican party needs some work, I'm not buying that it's as bleak as Ms Sidoti thinks.
.
For Republicans, an election win of any size Tuesday would be a blessing. But victories in Virginia, New Jersey or elsewhere won't erase enormous obstacles the party faces heading into a 2010 midterm election year when control of Congress and statehouses from coast to coast will be up for grabs.
It's been a tough few years for the GOP. The party lost control of Congress in 2006 and then lost the White House in 2008 with three traditional Republican states - Indiana, North Carolina and Virginia - abandoning the party.
So even if political winds start blowing harder behind them and even if they can capitalize on Democratic missteps, Republicans still will have a long way to go over the next year because of their party's own fundamental problems - divisions over the path forward, the lack of a national leader and a shrinking base in a changing nation.
.
In fact, 2009 seems to have underscored what may be the biggest impediment for Republicans - the war within their base.
.
I see way more division among Dems right now than in the Republican camp. And recent polls show the conservative side growing, not shrinking. Later in the article she typed in these words, "Rush Limbaugh", without saying fat, racist, bombastic or cretin.
.
It's got to be scary when you write for the AP, and Limbaugh is the reliable source for your story. And down playing a REPUBLICAN governor in NJ has gotta sting worse than the Limbaugh thing. I mean Corzine has been such a nationally known success, how could it happen this way?
.
.

...and speaking of Islam...
There is in the works a biographical motion picture of the life of Muhammad.
.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it a HUGE no-no to depict, draw, paint or otherwise create an image of the Prophet? Haven't there been killings, bombings, murders, assaults, etc, in the NAME of the all powerful Allah, over images created of Muhammad? And it's NOT just cartoons either.
.
At any rate, the moron who produced both the Rings Trilogy and the Matrix Trilogy has decided to produce this big budget nightmare. I hope he's wearing bomb proof skivvies and living in seclusion, willing to forgo London / Hollywood premieres, decided being rich and in the public eye is over rated. Because he'll last about as long as a corn dog at Michael Moore's house, if even one Imam, or other radical Muslim nut takes offense.
.
The full story of Allah hu Akbar productions can be found here.

I've got some good names though

Citizen Muhhamad?...The Bridge on the River Euphrates?...Psycho?
.
Apocalypse Now?...Up In Smoke?
.
OK, maybe they're not not all funny, but that last couple are dead on. Ya'll throw some out there. And don't forget to comment on this idiotic, misguided, abortion of an idea.
.
.
Schteveo won't be seeing "Muhammad does Dallas"
Maybe they need freedom FROM religion too?
This article points out so many problems that it's hard to sort them out.
.
Rokaya Mohamed, an elementary school teacher, would rather die than take off her face veil, or niqab, thrusting her to the forefront of a battle by government-backed clerics to limit Islamism in Egypt.
Egypt's state-run religious establishment wants teachers like Mohamed to remove their veils in front of female students, sparking a backlash by Islamists who say women should be able to choose to cover their faces in line with their Islamic faith.
"I have put on the niqab because it is a Sunna (a tradition of the Muslim prophet Muhammad). It is something that brings me closer to religion and closer to the wives of the Prophet who used to wear it," she said
.
Personally it points out the problems of a government trying to control any religious movements, or the practices of said religious members. It also points out how the powers that be are scared of religious backlash. And it's in a country dominated by moderate Muslims, who fear radical muslims. (Remember them, the ones BHO says we can talk to, negotiate with and who will live by their treaties. "HA", says I)
.
So the Egyptian government is worried about a growing fundamentalist religious group, voting them out, in favor of the religious groups own, like minded, and preferred candidates, and the government is attempting to curtail outward showings of religious fealty, on government property, to squash "the appearance" of that growing thought pattern among the populace.
.
Where, oh where, have I seen that before?
.
The other thing I see, again, is the fundamentalist influence in the teacher there. It's backward from what we usually see here, but is this woman the exception there. Is she being told to drop here religious garb there, the same way Christians are pressured here? Isn't the government trying to keep her influence out, in favor of their own? And again, isn't that JUST like liberals here!?
.
I won't go into the misogynistic aspect of Islam involved in convincing this woman that she shows her love of Allah, by hiding her face.
.
I'm guessing that the Egyptians are no better at trusting the PEOPLE to choose the government they want, than our current group of officials are at allowing us, that same right here.
.
Of course, I have no idea what the Egyptian Constitution says about of the people by the people, for the people, either. But I seem to remember that theme in our basic rules.
.
