SERIOUS WARNING!!

We're all familiar with how our computers can pick up a virus and how it can really ruin your day. Well, how about a PC virus that can totally ruin not just your day, but your entire life? This is some "really" scary stuff!

Personally, i believe anyone convicted of a violent crime against a child, and that would include sexual abuse of any kind, to any degree, should be summarily executed. Unfortunately, the powers-that-be don't have the common sense to put me in charge of such matters. If they did, such crimes would cease in a week!

On the other hand, there are also many cases where the mere allegation of such a crime, even a false allegation, is enough to totally destroy someones life. (i've seen it happen) That they are later proved to be innocent doesn't help. The "mark" is carried for life. BE AWARE!!

I run my virus scan every day now, even on Mozilla. Got a virus a few weeks back then had a rash of trojans (and I'm not talkin' about condoms). Sure hope nobody wants to seek revenge against me but I wouldn't put it past Maobama's cyberczar.

That is real scary stuff. Especially if you are active online - calling dipshits 'dipshits' and telling silly little liberals where they can have lunch. I know some of those hateful little deviates wouldn't hesitate to "infect" me if they could.

Scary.

At work my screen-saver kicks in after 5 minutes and requires a password to get back to workspace. It's a pain in the butt sometimes - but so is continually buying ammo...

On one hand, Spider says that all perpetrators of child porn or abuse should be executed summarily (as in, without trial).

yet, on the other hand, he points out that a lot of people who are accused of child abuse and porn are innocent of the charges.

Would Spider refuse these people their trial and summarily execute them, too?

Just curious.

Not that I'm against the death penalty, but I saw a statistic somewhere that was stunningly high - something like 20% of people on death row are later exonerated for their crimes because new evidence comes up. Taking our time when it comes to taking a man's life is no vice, and rushing to execute someone not matter how "sure" you are of their guilt is no virtue.

Goob, although i'm someone who doesn't like repeating himself, i'll make an exception for you.

"Personally, i believe anyone convicted of a violent crime against a child, and that would include sexual abuse of any kind, to any degree, should be summarily executed."

BTW, the average time spent on death row by someone sentenced to death is 8-12 years. Is that too fast for ya?

That sould read, 8-12+ years.
