Bill Clinton gets it too

WAY back in 1980, conservatism's greatest hero won the Presidency. He did what few could. He took a Democrat controlled Congress and convinced them to pass bills that lowered taxes, jump started the economy and put America back to the front of the world's economy, post the Jimmy Carter stupidity.

The present knuckle head in the WH, of course, makes Carter look like a business genius. He will, with his evil minions in tow, continue to rape our wallets. He needs to be stopped. In short, we need another Ronald Reagan!! Or at least, conservatives of substance in Congress to hold him in check. And Bill Clinton might be the first Liberal to admit to seeing the handwriting on the wall.

Clinton, speaking at a Democratic fundraiser in Minneapolis, said there was no mistaking that Republicans have tacked hard right and questioned whether former President George W. Bush would fit in among the party’s candidates this year.

“A lot of their candidates today, they make him look like a liberal,” Clinton told an enthusiastic crowd at a downtown hotel as he campaigned for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mark Dayton.

Clinton pointed to the tea party movement’s influence on the GOP.

Der Schlickmeister also recognizes that GWB was NO conservative at heart. Imagine that! Let's hope this year starts a new trend. Candidates who believe what we believe, that we can vote FOR, instead of voting AGAINST whose politics we don't believe.
