RNC tries to circumvent Tea Party actions

.
I've thought for a long time that the Republican Party left me, to paraphrase Reagan's line about how he became one. There are several state events that prove that the RNC is NOT out there for the conservative voters, or for American values and ideals.

The FL Senatorial race with Charlie Crist NOT stepping aside and the RNC NOT getting involved, and the DE race with Christine O'Donnell where they said they would NOT support her (initially).

Now, the House Republicans have come out with 'their' plan for the next session. On one hand it sounds exactly like what the Tea Party is pushing for, on the other hand it's such an about face that I...don't...trust...them! I think they're just trying to hold on to the reins.

Vote every ass outta every seat, regardless of affiliation. That would remind them who is really in charge.

Us.

UPDATE 8:25 AM

Just saw this story on FOX. Michelle Malkin is FOR this idea. I don't trust them. If they were led Centrist by GWB, they can be led back by Romney (or whomever) post 2012 elections.

I'm not sure why anyone who's really paying attention would think the Republicans are much different than the Demoncrats. Sure, their political ideologies are different, with the Demoncrat style representing all-out aggression, while the Repubs are the party of weakness, but that's about it. They both want power and really couldn't care less about anything else. Both parties are filled with corrupt, professional liars who will tell you anything to stay in power, or near the power.

As i've said before, i'm not a fan of our political system, and one of the reasons is because of the above. There's no real choice! Whenever an election rolls around, the American voters go off to their voting places and, as usual, prove Einstein's definition of insanity to have been correct. They keep voting for the same old crooks and liars thinking that perhaps this time they'll be different.
Doing the same thing over and over again WILL NOT produce different results!

I'm amazed at how many people continue to get fooled to Spider. I can't remember the last time I voted FOR someone. You'd think even some goofball would see the benefits of throwing in with the MAJORITY and getting elected.

But I guess that's too simple a concept too.

"Reminding them who is really in charge"

Maybe who used to be in charge.

Or should be in charge according to that outdated document, the Constitution.

Ahh, that sounds like the Bill Buckley rule. Just get "our" people elected, no matter what, a idea i can understand, but don't agree with. With everyone thinking that way, all we're doing is perpetuating Einsteins definition. "Our" people were already the majority and in power, remember? And the Marxist govt. that rules us is the result of that.

The current system is a total failure and has been for generations. It's built on lies and corruption, and is sustained by the ignorance of the voters and the manipulation of those voters by the MSM. The only "benefits" we have to show are less freedom, less liberty, and an ever-tightening leash around our throats.

No, no, no, no, you misunderstood what I meant.

I meant someone (a goofball, or rube, Joe the Plumber by both current Republican and Democrat party standards) who IS a Tea Party person who has NEVER considered running before, BECAUSE he knew the machines of either side would never allow it. But WITH a huge number of like minded citizens voting his way, might actually win.

Like O'Donnell in DE.

Here, take your pick. Repugnant or Demoncrat?

Gee, that's a choice between a swift kick in the ass, or a punch in the crotch! Just don't start the revolution without me.

"On one hand it sounds exactly like what the Tea Party is pushing for,"

Hardly. It's dead opposite, and might as well have been written by the Democrats

Right up front, what do we see? "A plan to create jobs"

They promise DIFFERENT interference in the economy, not less. No acknowledgement
that government doesn't create jobs.

A $100 billion spending cut? That's a cut from $3.55 trillion to 3.45 - talk about tokenism.

And what kind of REDUCTION in the reach of government is it to export democracy at gunpoint? Nation/empire building is the epitomy of Orwellian statism.
