Barack Obama kept military commanders hanging by declaring he would 'sleep on it' before taking 16 hours to give the go-ahead to raid Bin Laden's compound.
Hit squads of specialist Navy Seals - who were not even told who they were preparing to capture - had practised the mission at two reconstructions of the terror chiefs sprawling compound.
The mission looked set to be given the all clear last Thursday when analysts confirmed beyond doubt that Bin Laden was in busy town of Abbottabad in northern Pakistan.

This is the story I was waiting for. The hand-wringing, can't make up my LEFTIST mind, what will 'the world' think, Obama operating as usual. And I didn't get disappointed.

Do you really think the Marxist-in-Chief made this decision? Or, was it made by the de-facto presidents, Valarie Jarrett, Samantha Powers, (Cas Sunstiens wife) and George (the anti-Christ) Soros, hard-core, radical Leftists all. These are the people who actually rule America.
By now, it should be pretty clear to just about everyone that Obummer avoids making important decisions by "delegating" them to the Obamaunists around him. It's like voting "present" in the senate instead of actually taking a position on something. It's a good way of making sure that when the shit hits the fan, someone else is standing in front of it.
IMO, the decision to whack UBL was purely a political one. How many votes can we count on if we do, and how many do we lose if we don't. Remember, Obummer's #1 priority is not UBL or the country. It's getting re-elected.
I think he made this decision because he remembered the fall out from the MSM / American VOTERS finding out that Slick Willy PASSED on getting bin Laden from the Sudanese.

Aside from you and me, who else do you think remembers (or cares about) what Bubba did? The decision was made purely for it's vote-getting potential.
