Americans grow happier as they age, surveys find. And a new Pew Research Center survey shows the tendency is holding up as the economy tanks.
Happiness is a complex thing. Past studies have found that happiness is partly inherited, that Republicans are happier than Democrats and that old men tend to be happier than old women.
And even before the economy got nasty, seniors were found to be generally happier than Baby Boomers. Some of that owes to the American Dream being lived by past generations, while Boomers work two jobs and watch the dream wither.

If the weakling Republicans can find the courage to keep the heat on Botox Nancy, she'll fold. Or be folded by her own. Remember, the 2010 elections are far more important to the Demoncrats than she is.
Also, (IMO) i truly believe president Obingo sees her as a threat to his rule. Yes, she's supposed to be his agenda-pusher in congress, and to a great extent she is. But when you see them talk publicly, you get the very clear impression that she, not him, is running the country. It also doesn't take a genius to see that she's drooling to sit in the Oval Office, and not as a guest.

I learned today, that shipping mall arms ammo is forbidden by FedEx. However, after watching them lose their religion over it at the FedEx Hub, UPS never flinched. The nice ladies took the package, took my money, thanked me and said, "..an' c'mon back real soon!!"
FedEx looked at me like I was the friggin' Unibomber. (it should have been obvious I'm not Ted Kazinski, he NEVER wore tie die)
I've recieved ammo shipped UPS many times. I bought 800 rounds of Czech 8mm Mauser once. Heavy ass box... UPS brought it right to my door. They did have an "adult signature required" sticker on it.
