It's All Somebody Elses Fault

Ok, i'll admit that i watched some of Chairman Odumbo's speech last night, mainly to see if i was right about what i'd hear. I was right. It was more whining, more "blame GWB", more blame anybody and everybody who won't simply do whatever i say. And, while he talked to the Demoncrats, he scolded the Republicans for saying no to everything and not being part of the process. What he forgot to mention was, you can't very well be part of a process that you are locked out of. Deliberately locked out of! Hell, he even insulted the SCOTUS who were sitting just 10 feet away! Of course, he was aiming at the Conservative justices, not the Leftists. All in all, it was just more bullshit. More lies. More exaggerations. More elitist arrogance. More, me, me, me.

But i did see something else in Obummer last night, and also on the faces of many Demoncrats. It was fear and desperation! Many of them clearly know their careers may be coming to an end, (i hope) and not by their own choosing. They can hear the frightening sound of a huge bulldozer behind them, moving slowly and steadily toward them, and sweeping away everything in it's path. That bulldozer is called the voters. I just hope it doesn't run out of gas before the mid-term elections...

I didn't watch the State of Me, Me, Me Speech last night. I did channel surf past it a few times, shuddered, and moved on. But I did hear that he was all about commissions to create jobs. AWWWWwww, bullshit.

I've got just two, two word phrases for President BOHICA and his Socialist followers. Especially that 93% of his crowd who have never held a private sector job.

The 1st two word phrase,

"Cut Taxes".

This first one has always created jobs and boosted the overall income of the country. It's historical, it's factual, and within Economics, it's The Law.

The 2nd two word phrase,

"Laffer Curve".

I refer you to phrase #1, but the Laffer Curve is WHY lowering the taxes is economic law.

And without giving my the tired old WPA and CCC examples, would someone please give me ONE instance where the government "created" a job. Just one. PLEASE!!!

They had to hire some help to print all that new money. Every liberal knows money comes from printing presses.

OK, but that's not a job, it's increasing the size of government spending, to further their own power.

I'm talking about a real, long standing, non-gub'ment job.

Is that a trick question? They have created a lot of jobs, but they're all in govt. And they are jobs because "we're" paying them.

Also, it seems Botox Nanny from Mexifornia couldn't care less about what the people want or think of the Health Care scam. She sat there last night, bobbing up and down like a bobble-head doll listening to her "god" speak. The result of that Kool-Aid fest is that she's going to push the bill through no matter what anybody thinks!

I think it's time we got the ropes and torches ready.

Hey! how can Obama Bin Laden say he wants to quit with all of the partisan politics and then still blame GWB for everything? Now today he is in Florida at a town hall meeting. No wonder he can't get anything done. He won't stay in Washington long enough to find out what needs doing. Maybe we should rent the White House to borders and decrease the deficit that way.

Maybe we should rent the White House...

Let's just give it to illegal aliens to stay in.

Oh, wait... we already did that...

so does raising the debt ceiling another 1.9 trillion dollars equate with fiscal responsibility and restrained spending?

It's time!

OK, I'll say it again, when did the government ever create even one, uno, a singular job? And I said, I don't want gub'ment jobs lobbed in there. Those jobs don't make a ripple on the positive side of the economy. And the typical gub'ment employee does only 1/2 to 2/3 the amount of work the private sector employee does.

I'm talking about a job, that makes money for the individual, and that individual is NOT a tax burden, but is a tax payer.

Just one job.

I just had another thought, military contractors don't count either. The military contracting companies could, and many do, have civilian customers.

The idea is to create "productive" jobs. The gov't produces neither viable goods nor services

BOW said...

In fact, it just gets in the way of those who do

I wonder if anyone in Washington has thought about creating jobs the way FDR did during the depression? It worked then why not now?

That's the same thing. They're still government "created" jobs which do nothing but expand the government.

Quote Of The Week

"Frankly, I don't know what it is about California, but we seem to have a strange urge to elect really obnoxious women to high office. I'm not bragging, you understand, but no other state, including Maine, even comes close.

When it comes to sending left-wing dingbats to Washington, we're number one. There's no getting around the fact that the last time anyone saw the likes of Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein and Nancy Pelosi, they were stirring a cauldron when the curtain went up on 'Macbeth'. The three of them are like jackasses who happen to possess the gift of speech. You don't know if you should condemn them for their stupidity or simply marvel at their ability to form words."

TIO,
there's nothing left to build AND the rules for my silly game EXCLUDE the kinds of WPA, CCC jobs that FRD created. As to building things, FDR had guys work on roads, bridges and airports. It NOW takes years to get those projects up and running. Oddly, because of Federal rules.

What's that mythical snake thing that eats its own tail? An Oroborus?
