With our nations most sensitive secrets being as hard to come by as a daily news paper, with the ChiComs knowing more about our "secret" computer programs and military hardware than the American people know, and, with those American people learning that any form or degree of privacy they assumed they had is simply an illusion, how do you view someone like the guy in this story. IMO, there's a much, much, bigger problem with this story. It's been reported that, aside from never having gone past a high school education, this guy had this job for only (3) months! Just who was responsible for giving him access to some of the nations most secret and sensitive information? And, how many more of him are there controlling our national security?
Actually, they're now saying he never finished high school. Having heard him speak, i find that rather hard to believe. All the more reason to think there's more to this story than meets the eye.

AS much as I despise this Administration, 'releasing' secrets from the NSA, CIA, FBI or PTA is treasonous. And again, as much as I despise, and distrust, our elected worms, we have checks and balances in place, via oversight in Congress. AND at the point where the gov't is overbearing, over harsh and over extended in our lives, some small contingent of people will rise up and throw the old gov't out and establish something different.
I'm old fashioned on this 'releasing' documents / intel shit. Treason is punishable in one...single...manner.

I watched an interview with Snowdens dad last night and he seems to be a good guy, with a long military history. He surely didn't sound like some leftist whacko, or someone who taught his kid to be an anarchist, which is what i think this Snowden kid is. If not an anarchist, then a well-trained spy.
The dad begged his kid to come home and face what he's done (before) it's officially labeled treason. (he's obviously worried some CIA spook will catch up to him and put two in his ear)
If he does come back, something i truly doubt will happen, then i agree with Steve. A blindfold and a butt. Of course, we know that in Amerika, that will NOT happen.
