News on the home front

Sorry...this $%^$^ computer wouldn't let me reduce the size of the picture. That's a gov't computer for you.....only makes things bigger!

My daughter sent this picture the other day.  Mrs. & I thought it was great, because just a few hours before our other married daughter sent us a message saying basically the same thing.

I'm telling you.  Grandkids are Great!!!! our number is going to double next summer.

I just wanted to share this with you, my friends.

....as I sit here at work, on a new contract, which the gov't contracting office does not understand, so I am getting paid a decent amount of money, to sit and not do my job, because "they" haven't finished putting the pieces together.....the least they could do is pay me an indecent amount of money to sit around!... or maybe I should just stay quiet.

Can't wait to see all my kids on Turkey Day in a few weeks.

Why Wait For Friday

I'd just come out of the shop with a roast beef sandwich, large chips, ear of corn, and a jumbo sausage. A poor homeless man sat there and said, "i've not eaten for two weeks". I told him, "i wish i had your willpower".

A fat girl served me in McDonald's at lunchtime. She said 'sorry about the wait'. I said, 'Don't worry, you'll find a way to lose it eventually'.

I walked past a black kid sitting at a bus stop as I went into the bank. When I came out, he looked at me and said 'Any Change?' I said, 'Nope, you're still black'.

Snow in the forecast and the TV weather gal said she was expecting 8 inches tonight. I thought to myself, 'fat chance', with a face like that!

A 10-year old Irish boy stands crying at the side of the road. A man passing by asks 'What's wrong, lad?' The boy says 'Me ma died this morning.' 'Oh bejaysus,' The man says. 'Do you want me to call Father O'Riley for you?' The boy replies, 'No tanks mister, sex is the last t
hing on my mind at the moment.'

Years ago it was suggested that an apple a day kept the doctor away. But since all the doctors are now Muslim, I've found that a bacon sandwich works best!

Japanese scientists have now created a camera with such a fantastic shutter speed that it is now possible to take a photograph of a woman with her mouth closed.

I hate all this terrorist business. I used to love the days when you could look at an unattended bag on a train or bus and think to yourself. I'm going to take that.'

Man in a hot air balloon is lost over Iowa . He looks down and sees a farmer in the fields and shouts to him, where am I? The farmer looks back up and shouts back. You're in a basket you dumb shit!

I had a big lead in a trivia competition at a local bar until the last question which I got wrong. The question was where do women have the curliest hair? Fiji was the correct answer...hell, how did I know they wanted the name of a country?

I took my Biology exam last Friday. I was asked to name two things commonly found in cells. Apparently "Blacks" and "Mexicans" were NOT the correct answers.

I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible, but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.

QUICK!! We need a national LAW outlawing KNIVES!!!!

A mother and her four young children were killed in a late-night stabbing rampage at their Brooklyn home, and a man has been taken into custody, police said Sunday.

Officers who arrived at the scene late Saturday found all five victims unconscious and unresponsive, police said. Two girls and a boy were pronounced dead at the scene, while another boy and the woman were taken to Brooklyn hospitals, where they were pronounced dead, police said.

The victims were identified as 37-year-old Qiao Zhen Li and her children, 9-year-old Linda Zhuo, 7-year-old Amy Zhuo, 5-year-old Kevin Zhuo, and 1-year-old William Zhuo.

A man identified by police as a person of interest has been taken into custody, but no charges had been filed as of Sunday morning.
.
I'm here to be a pain in the ass, yet AGAIN!!

So, where's the hand-wringer contingent calling for a total recall and  outlawing of all cutlery?  WHY do we need knives that are THIS sharp or this pointy?  HOW many did knives did he have?  Was he, yet another, 'knife enthusiast' gone berserk?  Don't people realize these knives are killing America's children?

WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE America, where is YOUR outrage?

_________________________________________________________________________________

Sound familiar?

We all know why we're not hearing this from our MSM.  It's simply, because guns, not knives, is their agenda.  BHO and his ilk aren't worried about knives, they know that if we have knives, they CAN take over easily.  But our guns keep them from doing so.

And my reading of the Constitution, Declaration of Independence and the scribblings of our Founders says that is WHY we have the 2nd Amendment.  In fact, a few of them wanted that to be the 1st Amendment.

But here's the question, why not take all the knives and cleavers from the Chinese immigrants.  If you read news from Asia, then you've seen that this knifing, hacking, running amok with a sharpened blade IS how Asians go on a killing rampage.

Which leads to another question.

If people in Asia, go bat shit crazy with knives, cleavers and machetes, then WHY is it that so many in the WESTERN countries believe that GUNS make you go nutsoid?  Because it SERVES their agenda!!!  One they've been pushing since the mid-1800's.  And sadly, too many people believe what they've been told, instead of THINKING for themselves.

Personally, I intend to send this to all my anti-gun friends / family and ask them WHY they aren't screaming about a knife law, or cleaver law, or why we can't limit the length, shape or design of blades so we never again have children murdered by a KINFE!!!!

Yeah, and monkeys might fly outta...

My travel plans for 2014...

Here's a Late Friday Funny.  Better nate than lever..

My Travel Plans for 2014

I have been in many places, but I've never been in Cahoots. Apparently, you can't go alone.. You have to be in Cahoots with someone.

I've also never been in Cognito. I hear no one recognizes you there.

I have,  however, been in Sane. They don't have an airport; you have to be driven  there.

I have made several trips there, thanks to my children, friends, family and work.

I would like to go to Conclusions, but you have to jump, and  I'm not too much on physical activity anymore.

I have also been in Doubt. That is a sad place to go, and I try not to visit there too often.

I've been in Flexible, but only when it was very important to stand firm.

Sometimes I'm in Capable, and I go there more often as I'm getting older.

One of my favorite places to be is in Suspense! It really gets the adrenalin flowing and pumps up the old heart!

At my age I need all the stimuli I can get!

I may have been in Continent, and I don't remember what country I was in. It's an age thing.

They tell me it is very wet and damp there.

PLEASE DO YOUR PART !

Today is one of the many National Mental Health Days throughout the year.

You can do your bit by remembering to send this e-mail to at least one unstable person.  You can find out HOW unstable, by sending it every other day, for two or three weeks.

My job is done here!  OOOPs, I'm out of silver bullets!

...NOT anymore!!!

I remember being very interested in battles when I was a kid.  So I watched all the WWII, WWI, movies I could catch on TV.  I also remember seeing pictures of posters from WWII.  They were put out by the War Advertising Council.  People now would refer to this as a 'propaganda poster'.  I'm not sure how keeping the military secrets of your country 'SECRET' is propaganda though, then, now or ever.  But the idiot liberals are mostly in charge of writing history, so...screw their attitude.

One of the posters that hits home for me especially, is this one at the left.  As a sailor, I understood the need for not letting out the when / where of our ships or fleet movements.

I guess I'll go SO far as to say that, I even understand guys like John Walker, or anyone who sells secrets.  They do it for the money, the girls, the buzz and many are socially outcast and do it to feel big or important.  I understand guys like Kim Philby.  Philby, and other spies like him, did what he did because he believed that Communism is better than Capitalism, it was ideological.  I'll go further and say that I understand the Rosenbergs and Edward Snowden and Bradley Manning.  They truly think that their leaking information 'levels the playing field' in the world, or they believe that leaking those things helps people see the U.S. as an aggressive nation, so that we, the United States will back away from our worldwide 'Imperial Quests'.  [I just threw up in my mouth a little...]

Here's what I do NOT understand.

The kinds of people, like the jackass in this story, who would run their mouth, in a non-secure place and who would have our enemies, get the intel that could sink our ships.  Now, the story I'm about to reference doesn't really fit that like a dovetail into typical telling of secrets.  But it does show just how witless and foolish the current crop of 'spy bosses' are in America.

We learn this from the Twitter feed of Tom Matzzie, former Washington director of MoveOn.org Political Action, who sat near retired Gen. Michael Hayden. Matzzie's tweets suggest that Hayden took calls from reporters digging into the ongoing NSA spy scandal and asking about President Barack Obama's BlackBerry and CIA secret prisons overseas.

They are so sure, that all of US are prospective terrorists they want to listen to ALL our phone calls, read ALL our e-mail, check ALL our web searches, they're convinced that they need to do this ALL over the world too.  Have you seen the stories coming out of Europe this week?  We've pissed off all our traditional allies with the intel we're doing at the highest levels of their governments.

Our freedoms are at risk because the powers in the country, fear we (they actually) are under attack by outside forces AND inside forces.  They are so security driven, that they make noises like the old Soviet bosses, about taking some small pieces of our freedom, so that the BIG freedoms stay in place.

But on the other hand, the ex-head of the NSA & CIA, Michael Hayden, is so brainless, so non-security conscious, that he openly talked on his CELL phone, in a non-secure compartment of the Acela Train, ABOUT security matters.  And WHO was he telling things to, in the train, on his cell phone...the MSM.  But he DID keep reminding them to call him an anonymous source.

Hayden is, in MY mind, the worst case basis for our current government's intelligence agencies.  He's sure WE are such a danger in the country, he was sure enough to run millions of illegal e-mail searches and sure enough to tap millions of cell phone calls, sure enough to watch millions of web searches.  But he's exactly the guy he's been searching for.

He's a 'leaker' himself, a danger to all of us and he's no smarter than the low level idiots Snowden and Manning he supposedly tried to stop.  In fact, he is more dangerous in my opinion then anyone like them.  He's more dangerous because he took the King's shekels, then told the King's secrets he took an oath to keep, but he didn't have the BALLS to tell the secrets like Snowden or Manning, in the full light of day as a Patriot.  Hayden should go to jail for this.  Unfortunately, it won't happen.

Days like this, I miss guys like J. Edgar, and I've only heard or read stories about guys like Adm Souers, or Gen Vandenberg.  But they HAD integrity.  A concept and a word that are all but unknown in 21st Century America.  The proof is in the fact that guys at the TOP, guys like Michael Hayden don't believe that Loose Lips Sink Ships...NOT anymore!!!

I thought this was worth passing on.

As I have previously stated here, there and everywhere, I am QUITE unimpressed with the great majority of people who are 'graduates' of institutes of higher learning.  Except for people who have jobs where their schooling is actually necessary for their profession, I'm never impressed.  I get that doctors, engineers, DENTISTS [a simple nod to BOW] needing their college degrees, and more to do the jobs.

But there is ZERO reason for most people to have a degree to do the jobs they do.  Beyond my loathing of the average college grad / pompous boobs for their own lives.  I can never quite figure out just who it is, that is supposed to build the buildings, that will house those corner offices, that every boy and girl in America, has been told that they 'deserve', BY their parents IN the American pompous boobery?

I can't quite come to grips with a country where the majority of people LOOK DOWN on the jobs that dad, grand dad and all the males in their families once did!  WhoTF are these people to ever think that dad's welding / mechanic /. plumber / carpenter job is somehow, beneath them?  I know some of these ass hats from my own life, and TRUST me when I say, they had NOOOOOO problem taking the money from those 'menial, little people' jobs when they were begging for $$$ to go on a date, or for their first car or to go to the colleges that elevated them into the lofty, nose in the air, boobery status.

I'm ranting along here, so I can post a story on The Blaze this AM, about Mike Rowe, of 'Dirty Jobs' fame.  He is a proponent of working with your hands, as we've seen on DJ, he's done some crazy, dirty work, while showing real people, doing real jobs.

Much like we've talked about in here and via e-mail, Rowe is driven crazy by the whole sense of entitlement on one hand, balanced by 6 figure student loans and NO jobs for the students who spent that money.  Then again, there are welding and mechanics jobs in MT, ND, SD in the oil / gas fields which pay close to $80K per year.

But there's no corner office for those types of jobs...so, waaaah Little Johnny nor Janey want them....wah!

Go read the article, it makes a great deal of sense.  I can tell you that although I'm not clairvoyant, but I did see this coming.  Plenty of us at the 'grunt' level did.  There were too few young faces in the ranks to carry on the hard, hand done work, to keep the country going.  And that system brings us to where we are today.  Too many English, Medieval French Poetry and Art History majors, not enough welders, plumbers and blasters.

But if you really want to know who I personally blame for this fiasco, go read JUST the title of Tom Wolfe's book about the 7 Original Mercury Astronauts, and find the guy who pushed that ideal.  He's the ignorant maroon who started us down this road.  He's the one who is the most at blame, in my opinion.  And before you go, I'm betting, that even if you don't know 'who', you can pick his party affiliation.

They Are Preparing

I only hope we're doing the same.

 http://www.infowars.com/homeland-security-spends-80-million-on-armed-guards-for-civil-disturbances/

Two of the SCARIEST videos I've ever seen

And I don't mean 'Walking Dead' scary or 'Rosemary's Baby' scary or even '101 Dalmatians' scary.

Mark Dice is a vigilante videographer, publisher and writer who lives in San Diego.  He's been doing guerrilla video at all sorts of Lefty events for about 13 or 14 years.  One of his first was him taking around a petition to outlaw Dihydrogen Monoxide [otherwise known as water] because it's too dangerous.  Penn & Teller get credit for that one most often, but Dice did it first.

I've put two of his newest videos below, because the people he's talking to are SO scary stupid, that it defies reasoning!  In his earlier videos they played fast and loose with the words to prove that many who signed petitions put out by the Left were getting bamboozled by fast talk, technical terms for simple things and by misdirection.

But in the two I've posted, he is spelling out EXACTLY what is on the petitions, and people sign them and often comment on what they've signed.  And I realize that most people will say, "...well, he IS in California!!!".  Yes, he is, but he's in San Diego, not San Francisco or West Hollywood.  It's that much more of a pity in my mind, San Diego used to be just about the most Conservative place IN California.

Sadly, here are the videos,

Number One:  Mark Dice getting people to sign a petition, to help Barack Obama get Karl Marx on the ballot for POTUS in 2016.

Number Two:  Mark Dice getting people to sign a petition to Institute an Orwellian police state, based on Nazi Germany.

I believe the Forest Gump said it best boys and girls.  Stupid is as stupid does!

Gender Equality means you women CAN hit MEN!!!

Well, no, hell it doesn't either!! But in our idiot media, even the ass hats at Fox, that's what everyone thinks I guess.  And monkeys might fly outta my officially tagged jersey too, the day that's the 'law'.

Let me say, at the outset, I am not a Jets fan and I'm not a Patriots fan.. I am, however, a huge fan of the TRUTH.  There is little of that to be found in how this story is getting reported.

Yesterday and all morning I've been seeing video, from several angles that supposedly show a guy in a Jets jersey, 'punching' a woman in Patriots gear.  I say supposedly, because I've seen this video, from several angles, and what I see is a pushing match, people on the ground, and this blonde dimwitted babe, run through the crowd and slapping or punching him FIRST!

Here's a link to the story and a video if you haven't seen him 'brutalize' her YET.

A couple thoughts hit me here, no puns intended.  This kind of stuff is WHY I don't do massed humans in small places events.  I don't want to be in, near or around people, like her OR him, so I don't go in their vicinities!  Having said that, I am and always have been an avowed 'defensivist'.  IF you hit me, I will, under no uncertain terms, try to knock your head, minus your teeth, into the next Zip Code!

At the point where that guy was 10 or 12 feet from the people on the ground, no arms were swinging, and she RAN over and slapped or punched him, I was on HIS side.  Regardless of WHAT or WHOM he punched prior to that, were I a judge, and they were in my court, he'd be free and clear for defending himself, and she'd be paying THE stiffest fine I could muster.  He'd be on the hook for whatever anyone can prove.  But judging from the video, HE'S the one being shoved around, so, what do I charge him with?

She'd be fined to a good shade of toasty though.  Crazy harpy that she evidently is!

Are there no Ladies left in this country?  Most of the women under 50 that I get around, act like spoiled brats who are money hungry hookers at best, foul mouthed thieves if hooking isn't paying well enough today!  It makes me glad I have sons.

Home Schooling A MUST!

[CBNNews] The push for radical transgender rights in schools is trumping privacy rights at one Colorado high school.

"A male student at Florence High School who claims to be a transgender has been harrassing girls in the bathroom. When parents complained, school officials said the boy's rights as a transgender trumped their daughters' privacy rights.

As the controversy grew, some students were threatened with being kicked off athletic teams or charged with (hate crimes if they continued to voice concerns).

The Pacific Justice Institute sent the school a letter warning against squelching privacy rights.
"We're not going to stand by and let 99.7 percent of our students lose their privacy and free speech rights just because .3 percent of the population are gender-confused," the PJI wrote.

PJI is demanding assurances from the school that privacy and expressive rights will be protected and any accommodations will not involve the girls giving up access to most of their restrooms, as has previously been suggested by the school..."

I'm not surprised by this at ALL

Glenn Beck shared a story with viewers on Wednesday that he’s been keeping close to the vest since before the 2012 election, explaining that he’s been waiting for the right time to say what exactly happened, and what it means for the country.

It all began, Beck said, in what he believes was late August when he was getting ready to do a number of events with FreedomWorks.

“It’s about 4:00 in the afternoon and I get a call from the president of FreedomWorks, Matt Kibbe, and I can hear the distress in his voice,” Beck said.  “[Kibbe said], ‘Glenn, I’ve just been escorted out of my office by armed guards and told not to come back.’”

Kibbe added that he wasn’t the only one forcefully escorted out, and that they had been hijacked, so to speak, by the “old guard” GOP establishment.

“There was a coup during the election, and it was powerful,” Beck said.  “They were trying to get rid of the libertarian, Tea Party-minded power players, and first and foremost on that hit list was Matt Kibbe and his allies. They didn’t like the fact that FreedomWorks was cleaning house in the GOP…that they were targeting people like Orrin Hatch.  It didn’t sit well with the Karl Roves of the GOP world…”

Beck spoke about the ramifications of the “coup” for the 2012 election, and said now is the right time to share the story because “the exact same thing – the same people really – are doing this now in the GOP.”

“Anyone in Congress or the Senate who associates with FreedomWorks, the Senate Conservatives Fund, the Tea Party, anybody, anybody is being targeted by the same class of establishment Republican progressives,” Beck said.  “They do not like it when you organize. They do not like it when you choose the candidates that you actually want.”

Beck said it’s the same reason why lawmakers are not truly pursuing the IRS’ targeting of small government groups, because progressives on both sides “want that tool in place…to come after people like you.”

“This has never been about left and right,” Beck said.  “This is about freedom, freedom, and tyranny."

“Before the GOP was in existence, it was a two party system – the Democrats and the Whigs,” Beck said, noting that many Whigs and a fair number of Democrats were frustrated that both parties were offering much of the same.

“Charles Sumner was one of the most hated people by the Whigs and the Democrats…so much that he was literally beaten within an inch of his life on the House floor because no one stepped in to stop it,” Beck continued.  “Within four years, Sumner wasn’t the most hated anymore — he was the most beloved man in the Republican Party, and the Whigs were extinct.  I’m telling you that’s what’s coming if we stand.”

I'm not surprised in the least.  And I said many times over the last few years that the Republican Party needed to go away.  This is the proof to me.  Sadly, I don't know how many 'thinking' people will believe ir follow this on to a needed conclusion.

"We're Just Following Orders"

Does that sound familiar? Isn't that what the heads of the SS and Gestapo said at the Nuremberg trials? Is this why the National Parks Service purchased Millions of rounds of Hollow Point ammo? So much for govt. agents standing with the people...

http://freedomoutpost.com/2013/10/brown-shirt-park-rangers-cut-pisgah-inn-theyre-following-orders/

Uh, didn't Swarzenegger 'address' this issue?

There are days when, I swear to you, I think I'm losing my GD mind.  Days where the people 'in charge' seems as if they act like JRHS kids playing with fissionable material or they're like infants sticking OUR  collective fingers into a wall socket, with a missing cover.

And here we ARE AGAIN.
.
Eventually, drones may have the technical ability to make even lethal decisions autonomously  to respond to a programmed set of inputs, select a target and fire their weapons without a human reviewing or checking the result. Yet the idea of the U.S. military deploying a lethal autonomous robot, or LAR, is sparking controversy. Though autonomy might address some of the current downsides of how drones are used, they introduce new downsides policymakers are only just learning to grapple with.
.
So, the DoD hasn't really just THOUGHT about this.  The DoD and they're minions committed enough to 'think' up an acronym for the naming of this type weapon?  I think most thinking adults, all 311 of us left in America [that's a guees BTW] , know that there is no OAF [Office of Acronym Formulation] at the DoD.  Oh, don't get me wrong, there are plenty of oafs at DoD, the defense contractors, at 1600 Penn. Ave and in Congress where this shit gets approved.

But the acronyms come from the smart boys at the defense contractors, who design these 'products'  Those clowns just see this the way Ray Kroc saw burgers and fries.  It's simply a 'product' to sell at a profit to them.

But as deadly as I'm told a burger can BE, I've never had one TRACK me down and force itself into my stomach!
.
The basic conceit behind a LAR is that it can outperform and outthink a human operator. "If a drone’s system is sophisticated enough, it could be less emotional, more selective and able to provide force in a way that achieves a tactical objective with the least harm," said Purdue University Professor Samuel Liles. "A lethal autonomous robot can aim better, target better, select better, and in general be a better asset with the linked ISR [intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance] packages it can run."
.
Conceit isn't even close to what this is.  Stupidity is a mile short.  Foolishness is getting into the neighborhood, I do believe, but still falls woefully short.  Perhaps a string of adjectives? Short sighted stupidity, compounded by foolish conceit, is about where I think they are.

Dr. Frankenstein had these traits, in spades, and we know how that turned out.

But, I digress, back to my original theme.  In 2011, the last full year for data, 11.6 MI:L:LION people were the victims of Identity Theft.  Most of it committed via 'smart' phones and computers.  Now I know what most people will say,

"...but Schteveo, the thieves and scammers get into that personal stuff, because the users forget to use their security systems!!!!"

Here's what I know, about THAT, from my own experiences.

The people who 'forget' to secure their own personal electronic gear, ALSO forget to secure their gear at WORK!  And yes, that includes people with big time, VERY high security clearances at DoD, and at our banks, stores and credit card companies.  Those people can cause us all financial ruin, in mere seconds, what about stupid people at DoD or the contracting offices?  We know that the people at DoD leave their electronic 'fly' open a great deal also. That's how the ChiComs and NKs get into our computer systems periodically, like guys getting into a warehouse, because someone simply forgot to lock one just door..

The bad guys have legions of smart people, who spend hours everyday, hacking their way onto our DoD networks, HOPING that Chuck Hagel left his laptop on and unsecured after several hours of playing Angry Birds or looking at Gay Jamaican Porn videos!!  If anyone leaves their computer ON, the hackers can get in.

And if they can get into the computers now to see ??? plans, they can get in a dump crap into the Drone Programming!  After that, how hard is it to reprogram the MFers to shoot at US and not 'THEM' ?  Just what safeguard do they have that will keep 'them' out of the LOR program and control loop?

The bottom line for me is this, I've seen all the "Terminator" movies, I've read all the "Colossus" books and I've got "Colossus: The Forbin Project" on VHS.  I don't foresee these machines starting to 'think'.  But, I do know how easily bad people figure out how to harm us with our own gear, when new technology comes along.

It's usually a short time after we start new using new tech, before our 'enemies' are using something similar.  Usually everybody is about the same place in R & D on military technology.  Sometimes with Americans as willing accomplices, they get a 'little' help.  People like the Rosenbergs, or Bradley Manning think they are helping 'the world' by outting the U.S.  Worse still, people like John Anthony Walker and his family who worked for decades undermining us, just for the money and the 'buzz'.

Given all that, I just don't see HOW the DoD can tell us, with any sort of certainty, that OUR autonomous drones won't be used against us, can they?

I'm not Jewish, and this is STILL offensive to me!

It’s a turkey. It’s a menorah. It’s Thanksgivukkah!

An extremely rare convergence this year of Thanksgiving and the start of Hanukkah has created a frenzy of Talmudic proportions.

There’s the number crunching: The last time it happened was 1888, or at least the last time since Thanksgiving was declared a federal holiday by President Lincoln, and the next time may have Jews lighting their candles from spaceships 79,043 years from now, by one calculation.

There’s the commerce: A 9-year-old New York boy invented the “Menurkey” and raised more than $48,000 on Kickstarter for his already trademarked, Turkey-shaped menorah. Woodstock-inspired T-shirts have a turkey perched on the neck of a guitar and implore “8 Days of Light, Liberty & Latkes.” The creators nabbed the trademark to “Thanksgivukkah.”
.
Gee, how can they say Jewish, Hunnakah and numbers and NOT say Kabbalah!  Isn't there some kind of MSM rule that would require it be said or at least intimated?  And what about Madonna!!!  Shouldn't someone call her to see what she thinks of these Kabbalistic 'alignments'?

I'm betting the gutless f^*k who wrote that and the hand-wringers who approved it for distribution wouldn't make those kinds of flippant statements if a MUSLIM Holy Day fell on or near some Christian or Jewish Holy Day.  We certainly wouldn't wanbt to make light of a MUSLIM Holiday, would we.

Here's my question, is there any sort of African-American 'tie-in' associated with Christmas this year?  If so, I can get chicken at the grocery store any day of the year.  But where the hell will we get water melon to go with it?

Gobble Tov?  Seriously?  And just for the conversation, what is 'Talmudic frenzy'?  I'd like to smack the...

Double Standards

First we'll start with the initial unsubstantiated story:  http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/10/03/police-involved-in-capitol-shooting-unpaid-due-to-partial-shutdown/?intcmp=HPBucket

As I am sitting here at work at on a 12 hours shift knowing that I will only be sitting here watching tv due to weather, now a civilian  under contract with the army, wondering if I am going to get paid in two weeks, I've been pondering a few things in regard to this country.  A country that I personally believe to have been God blessed and God inspired.

As I am sure you all remember the uproar when what's-his-bucket, a wannabe cop was acquitted of killing the wannabe thug.  From my point of view, he was an unpaid member of society who used deadly force in protecting his neighborhood.  The question that a jury answered was that he was justified.

Now in relation to that story, we have a story of unpaid capitol police (degraded to neighborhood watch) killing a woman who was driving her car in a manner which could be construed as "irresponsible".  On one hand, I can see the gallantry and self sacrifice made by these men, to continue to work in defense of their nation, even though they are not getting paid for it.  But on the other hand, I have to ask...what is the difference between them and the Florida neighborhood watch guy.....except that they were pretty sure that if they stayed out of the way of the moving vehicle, they were not in mortal danger in any way.   In this case, they might have been certifiable police officers...but they were not being paid, which means that they were not on duty.  Whether or not they were in uniform is irrelevant.  They took it upon themselves to act in an official capacity.  They were volunteers, thus lethal force is not authorized unless there is actual life threatening danger to themselves or others.  (even when on duty that is the case)  But the application of lethal force needs a grand jury when applied by "civilians (volunteers)"....and as we saw in the Florida case, the persons involved should be incarcerated until said grand jury makes that decision, or they post bail.

I noticed in the story that "shots were fired"  but it never says that the woman fired shots.  It is obvious that shots were fired...by the neighborhood watch patrol!

I think the police should be commended for working without pay.  But watching a video of the incident, I am trying to figure out what the rational was for shooting the woman?  The barriers at both the White House and Capitol will stop a Mac truck, let alone a small sedan.  More importantly, doesn't D.C. have laws against people having guns, let alone carrying them in the open?  Will the Justice Department show us another double standard?

I raise those questions because in our current society there are huge limits placed on people, because of the Department of Labor and their union handlers.  Every police union, has in its contracts, that a police officer must be paid if he is to be considered "on duty."  This raises the question of whether or not these police officers were legal to be carrying pistols in the District of Columbia....which unlawfully forbids American Citizens from doing so.  As well as were they on duty or not?  It looks like there are multiple laws being broken.  Who will be accountable for that?

Friday Funnies, On Thursday

I spent $5000 on a boob job for my wife. She was delighted. I spent another $2,000 on a nose job for her. She was ecstatic. I spent $2,000 on liposuction for her and she couldn't thank me enough! But I spent 50 bucks on a blow job for myself and she goes fucking nuts! Women, I can't figure them out!

Dear Dr. Phil,
I was watching my next door neighbor's wife sunbathing topless from my bedroom window. As I was jerking off, I turned to notice my wife was just standing there, arms folded, watching me. Is she a pervert of what?

A mother-in-law said to her son's wife when their baby was born: "I don't mean to be rude, but he doesn't look anything like my son.
The daughter-in-law lifted her skirt and said: I Don't mean to be rude either, but this is a pussy, not a fucking photocopier.

How many are worried about a government shutdown? How many are more worried about it starting back up?

I'm glad the government has shut down. Think about it, for the first time in years it's safe to talk on the phone and send emails without anybody listening in...

Here's a REAL shocker, the War on Drugs, is NOT working!!!

I don't know that this story is telling me anything I didn't know.  But I wonder about the price 'drop' they mention.  Not that I'm out buying illegal drugs regularly [I get enough stuff legally every month to kill a moose!] but people who I know do buy, aren't saying prices are going down!

Maybe it's just that those guys in the E.U. and in Australia have better sources than my 'acquaintances' here in N.C.
.
The global war on heroin, cocaine and cannabis is failing to stem supply, as prices of these drugs have tumbled while seizures of them have risen, according to a study published this week.

Researchers analysed data from seven government-funded programmes that tracked the illegal drug market over more than a decade.

Three of the programmes monitored international drugs trafficking; three focused on the United States; and one tracked the drugs business in Australia.

The prices of heroin, cocaine and cannabis tumbled by 81 percent, 80 percent and 86 percent respectively between 1990 and 2007 in the United States when adjusted for inflation, the researchers found.

Over the same period, the average purity of these drugs rose by 60 percent, 11 percent and 161 percent respectively.

In 18 European countries, the street price of cocaine and heroin fell by 51 and 74 percent between 2000 and 2009.

Neither the purity of drugs seized in Europe nor the price of cannabis on the continent was given in the study.

The entire idea that law enforcement types can keep people from 'changing' their mental state or WANTING to, by passing laws is THE stupidest idea being enforced inside the worldwide, modern legal system.  There is something inside the human brain that seeks to change it's angle of view, and that's PSY 101 stuff, and every Freshman reads that shit too.

Too bad the guys who make laws aren't as smart as they think they are, or even as smart as an incoming  college sophomore.
