Department Store Truckers In the News

I saw two things online recently that sort of go together. The common thread? Truckers that haul goods for department stores (granted, lower-end department stores - Wal-Mart and Target) doing things they shouldn't.

This one will make you roll your eyes. I know I saw it elsewhere earlier this morning, but now that I go to look for it, I can't find it. Hmmm... Anyway, here is the only version I can find now: Wal-Mart trucker smuggles illegals across border.

This one will either make you roll your eyes or giggle. Maybe both. If other things have been added by the time you click, scroll down to Shopping Cart Fail. http://failblog.org/

We trust our truckers to keep our country running smoothly. It is a thankless, monotonous job. I am directly related to two truckers, both of whom do a fine job and know exactly what they are doing. But do you ever stop to think that the 18-wheeler flying past you at 15 miles over the speed limit could be driven by one of these morons? It's a frightening thought.
