First gay divorce finalized in Colorado

 

Colorado first recognized same-sex divorce is final.

Supporters of Colorado's new civil unions law say the court ruling sets a precedent for gay couples married in other states who want to legally terminate their relationships here without uprooting their lives.

Juli Yim and Lorelei Jones wed in Massachusetts in 2009, where same-sex marriage is legal.

Yim tells the Fort Collins Coloradoan the relationship went sour and she found a new partner in Colorado.

Now They Are Afraid Of Us!

 Did you ever think (we) could have all those Saudi kings and prince's shaking in their castles when the talk is of oil? Usually, it's (they) who have (us) shaking, especially when we see the price at the gas pumps, like now. Well, all that may be changing now that some in Amerika have finally realized we have more oil than the Saudis do.

Knowledgeable scientists and oil experts have long said there's more oil just in North Dakota than "in all of Saudi Arabia"! And that's just one state! Of course, news like that makes the Leftist EnviroNazi's convulse. It also makes the Marxist-in-Chief quite uncomfortable knowing we may not need his Mooslamb brothers anymore. That's why he, and his SS Storm Troopers at the EPA, have been doing everything possible to keep us from using our own oil. 

You see, to save some bird or worm, they want us to go back to driving horse-drawn carts and living in caves. Of course, they mean us, not themselves. And, while laughing themselves to death at that kind of stupidity, the Saudis, and other oil-rich nations, have been amassing unimaginable amounts of wealth, most of it from us. They have also been able to dictate what (we) pay for gas at the pump. But, all of that "may be" changing...

Late Friday Funny...so late that it's Saturday Night!

25 years in the future, George Bush, Tony Blair and Vladimir Putin have, unfortunately, gone 'south' after dying together in a plane crash.  But being the Hades of the 21st Century, Satan informs them that they can make phone calls home, but the price is VERY expensive and has to be paid by the living, to a group chosen by Satan.

Putin makes a call home and after 3 or 4 minutes, Satan grabs the phone and tells his family that they must pay the equivalent of $50,000 to the U.S. Republican Party!

Blair makes a call home, and after just 2 minutes Satan grabs the phone and tells his family that they must pay the equivalent of $500,000 to the French Communist Party!

Our old buddy GWB makes a call home, talks for a couple of hours, he talks so long they have to round up people for him to talk to, he finally gets tired and hangs up.  Bush walks away, but Blair and Putin are screaming and yelling about how unfair it is to just LET Bush talk that long.  But not charging him anything for ALL that time is more than they can take.

Carpal Tunnel...anyone?! ................................. ...... Anyone? Buehler, Buehler...Buehler?

I found out Friday that I've got carpal tunnel in BOTH hands, and both hands are operable!  I'm still not sure if that's good news or bad news.

Lucky f*&king me, eh?!

Anyway, if anyone looking in has experience with this, I'm looking for input on how it was, pre fix, post fix, long term, recovery wise, any and all intel is good.   I'm not sure when, or even if, I can get this done, not any time soon as Mrs Scteveo just had her 2nd knee rebuilt.  But I consider input, it's never a bad thing on operations like this, that can potentially save a hand.

Yeah, I said save, because I've all but lost any grip or manipulation with my (R) hand. 

Luckily, I can still use my (L) hand, but I'm not good going that way.  I used to tell people my (L) hand was an ornament to make my body symmetrical.  I evidently mis-spoke.

Bash Mobs in SoCal...

Officials in Long Beach are warning residents about a planned ‘Bash Mob’ potentially planned for Friday afternoon.
 
In a ‘Bash Mob,’ an unruly but organized crowd — sometimes as many as 100 people — race through the streets committing thefts, petty crimes, assaults and property damage.
A ‘Bash Mob’ most recently occurred in the Long Beach area on July 9 in the Pike and City Place areas downtown, according to Long Beach Police Sgt. Aaron Eaton. One person was arrested and several business reported property damage during the incident.
Detectives investigating the July 9 incident found out about the planning stages of another event, by the same group, scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Eaton said.

“The Long Beach Police Department takes this issue very seriously and will be prepared to arrest anyone whose intent is to commit criminal acts,” Eaton said. “We will continue to support everyone’s right to free speech and assembly. However, the police must also protect the safety of those victims targeted by these ‘bash mobs.”‘

"Barack says we need to have a conversation about race in America .. Fair enough. But this time, it has to be a two-way conversation.. White America needs to be heard from, not just lectured to…. This time, the Silent Majority needs to have its convictions, grievances and demands heard. And among them are these:

First, America has been the best country on earth for black folks. It was here that 600,000 black people, brought from Africa in slave ships, grew into a community of 40 million, were introduced to Christian salvation, and reached the greatest levels of freedom and prosperity blacks have ever known.. Governments, businesses and colleges have engaged in discrimination against white folks — with affirmative action, contract set-asides and quotas — to advance black applicants over white applicants. Churches, foundations, civic groups, schools and individuals all over America have donated their time and money to support soup kitchens, adult education, day care, retirement and nursing homes for blacks.

We hear the grievances. Where is the gratitude??

Barack talks about new ‘ladders of opportunity’ for blacks. Let him go to Altoona ? And Johnstown, and ask the white kids in Catholic schools how many were visited lately by Ivy League recruiters handing out scholarships for ‘deserving’ white kids…? Is white America really responsible for the fact that the crime and incarceration rates for African-Americans are seven times those of white America ? Is it really white America ‘s fault that illegitimacy in the African-American community has hit 70 percent and the black dropout rate from high schools in some cities has reached 50 percent?

Is that the fault of white America or, first and foremost, a failure of the black community itself?
As for racism, its ugliest manifestation is in interracial crime, and especially interracial crimes of violence. Is Barack Obama aware that while white criminals choose black victims 3 percent of the time, black criminals choose white victims 45 percent of the time?
Is Barack aware that black-on-white rapes are 100 times more common than the reverse, that black-on-white robberies were 139 times as common in the first three years of this decade as the reverse?

UH, busing students vs students walking to school, and the (D)'s want to be right on both sides of the issue. As usual!

WAY back in the olden days, when I went to grade school, most kids lived within walking distance of their school.  Then, once the (D)'s got their teeth into School Segregation, kids started getting bused ALL over their cities and towns, for hours and hours of their school lives, so they could grow up among a 'diverse' group of children. And one of the things that went away, due to low funding because of fuel and vehicle costs, was Physical Education.

NOW, Mrs. Obumble is suggesting that kids WALK to SCHOOL to get exercise.

The county I moved away from 3 years ago, has been screwing around with an on again, off again plan to return to neighborhood schools.  Currently they are NOT going toward kids being able to walk to a neighborhood school, they're going to keep busing for diversity.  So here's my math question for today.

If a bus with 56 kids, takes 60  minutes to go 30 miles to a 'diversified' school, how long will it take those same 56 kids to walk that same 30 miles?

Phriday Phunny! Saying goodbye to Mother...

We were dressed, and ready to go out for the New Years Eve Party. We turned on a night light, turned the answering machine on, covered our pet parakeet, and put the cat in the backyard.

We phoned the local cab company and requested a taxi, there would be drinking later. The taxi arrived and we opened the front door to leave the house.

As we walked out the door, the cat we had put out in the yard, scoots back into the house. We didn't want the cat shut in the house. Because she always tries to eat the bird.

My wife goes on out to the taxi, while I went back inside to get the cat. The cat runs upstairs, with me in hot pursuit. Waiting in the cab, my wife doesn't want the driver to know that the house will be empty for the night. 

So, she explains to the taxi driver that I will be out soon, 'He's just going upstairs to say Goodbye to my mother.  They're very close'.

A few minutes later, I get into the cab. 

'Sorry I took so long,' I said, as we drove away. 'That stupid bitch was hiding under the bed. I had to poke her ass with a coat hanger to get her to come out! She tried to take off, so I grabbed her by the neck. Then, I had to wrap her in a blanket to keep her from scratching me. But it worked! I hauled her fat ass downstairs and threw her out into the back yard!'

Happy Independance Day?

 As Americans, we were always taught that independence meant freedom. Sadly, IMO, there is very little of either in today's Amerika. Every single thing we do, say, and think, is directly or indirectly regulated by the govt. As a school kid growing up in Brooklyn, i was taught those things couldn't happen in my "free" country. We were taught that wars had been fought, and millions of brave Americans had given their lives to make sure we kept those freedoms and liberties, and for much of my life that was the case. So what has happened?

So here we are on July 4th in 2013 America. We have our brave and dedicated warriors fighting all over the middle east for, well, i'm not quite sure what they're fight for and i don't believe they know either. We have some of the worlds most dangerous nations looking at us like a dog looks at a steak. We have a Kenyan-born Marxist Muslim sitting in the Oval Office who sees We The People as nothing more than worker ants who's job is to pay for the multimillion dollars vacations he, and his fat-assed, racist, anti-American wife take every few weeks. We have a congress that is as corrupt and incompetent as any political body, in any 3rd world country. We have a supreme court that sees itself as some kind of "supreme deity". And, we have a population that is the weakest, most gullible, and by far, the dumbest this nation has ever produced. What could possibly go wrong?

Oh, we do have something else. We have (armed Russian combat troops) coming here to keep us calm, quiet, and "under control"......... Enjoy your "independence"...
