Stupid Pot Tricks!

BE AWARE THAT THERE IS SOME KIND OF PROBLEM WITH BLOGGER THIS MORNING. THE FORMATTING IS NOT WORKING AND SUCH ARE OUT OF ORDER, EVERYTHING IS JUST RUNNING TOGETHER............HERE'S THE POSTED ARTICLE.......... I've long been a proponent of drug legalization for adults. And by 'adults' I mean anyone old enough to have a requirement to sign up to be drafted. Women can't be drafted, but they should be considered adults at that same age. If you're old enough to join the military, old enough to vote and old enough to get married sans mom and dad's approval, they should be old enough to buy a pack of 'Acapulco Golds' or 'Maui Wowie 100's! But even IF it's legal, spiking the punch at a party should be a hanging offense as should spiking the brownies. . Thomas Cunningham, 21, and Mary Essa, 19, were arrested Saturday on suspicion of second-degree assault, fraudulently inducing the consumption of a controlled substance and conspiracy charges, university police spokesman Ryan Huff said. Huff said three of those who ate the brownies were hospitalized, suffering from the effects of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the active property in marijuana. "If someone views this as a prank, it's no laughing matter," Huff told Reuters. "These (charges) are all felonies which carry potential prison time." According to Huff, police were summoned to a classroom building Friday morning on a report that a female professor was complaining of dizziness and was drifting in and out of consciousness. The instructor, who was not identified, was transported to a hospital. Later Friday, the mother of a student in the class notified police that her daughter also was hospitalized after suffering "an anxiety attack." The family of a third student also notified police that their daughter felt like she was going to black out after attending the class, and that they took her to a hospital. All three have since been released from the hospital. . There is a level of prank and stupidity that I simply don't understand. Hopefully Colorado Law allows or calls for public flogging for such acts of idiocy. . . Schteveo

I have to agree completely, even though i realize these morons are doing things like this simply to make their point that weed, at least, should be legalized.

Personally, i have always believed marijuana should be legal. I have never seen a case where weed lead someone to use harder drugs, and i've dealt with a whole lot more drug users than the bureaucrat nitwits making these decisions have. I'm not including those people who have highly-addictive personalities. These are the people will get hooked on Corn Flakes given the opportunity.

Another important point often missed is, smokers, unlike other drug users, are rarely violent. Now that's the smokers, not the dealers.

I learned a long time ago that the so-called "war on drugs" was nothing more than a PR stunt to keep the sheeple quiet. It has been as effective as the ban on alcohol was back in the 30's. Meaning, a total flop. But then again, IMO, the war on drugs, like the Viet Nam war, was meant to be fought, not won. Nobody makes money winning wars, only fighting them.

I don't care what they do, as long as it doesn't involve me or my kids. I have had these asshats in situations refuse to smoke somewhere else because "it is my right maaaan" I personally see big issues in legality due to anti smoking laws and rights of people who would rather not partake.

Spider,
I've always asked the 'pot is a gateway drug' folks why they don't make milk and water illegal. Not one person who's a drunk got there WITHOUT drinking milk or water, right?

"...well, that's different!"

"OH yeah, based on what criteria?"

Cowpill,
if you didn't dot their eyes fort them, you're a better maaaaan than me maaaan! I adhere to the "don't mess with me and I won't f^*k you up" system personally.

Some SOB breaking the law, then telling me it's his right, would get an ass whipping.

Cow does have a good point, what with the anti-smoker zealots and their laws, rules and regulations all over the place. But i wonder if their rage will pertain to pot as well, since many of them (certainly not all) are of the "enlightened" class. It's going to be interesting to watch.

If you want to get a buzz you don't have to SMOKE the pot. There are brownies and even IF you want to smoke, there are pipes that give you 75% to 80% of the smoke inhaled and in such small amounts that those around you don't get smoked up.

And there are tinctures too. Just a drop between cheek and gum!
