The Irony of the Evolution of Society

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/12/23/judge-denies-request-to-halt-same-sex-marriages-in-utah/

Here is just one of several articles on the forced acceptance of homosexual marriage by a federally appointed...not elected....judge.

It is ironic that the 3rd amendment to the Utah State Constitution, which defines marriage as being between a man and a woman, has been declared unconstitutional.

What is ironic about it you ask?   Well , the fact that in 1898 the state of Utah was forced to included in its constitution, in order to become a state, that it only recognized the "traditional definition of marriage"

So, over the course of 115 years a group of people have been forced by politicians to abandon a portion of their religious freedom (good bye 1st amendment) and forced to accept what they consider to be a sinful act (goodbye  9th & 10th amendments).

Just out of curiosity, I wonder if it is that same "group" that has done both?  It isn't so much about condoning a particular lifestyle as it is about forcing others to abandon theirs.

It just reaffirms that the Mormons will be on OUR side in the coming civil uproar.

This is what the American people get for their national weakness, gullibility, and highly misguided sense of tolerance, and the Left smells that weakness like a dog smells a bone.

Ever since the Marxist-in-Chief was first elected, the Left has engaged in a frontal assault on everything this country has stood for, and then some. They know they may never have this much political power again, so they're going for broke, and there's no one to stop them.

Even if the republicans gain complete control of congress in 2014, and the WH in 2016, there's not enough backbone in that party to undo the damage that's being done to our history, our traditions, our religious beliefs, and our Constitution.

IMO, what's being done to this country can not, will not, be repaired or reversed peacefully.
