The Next Supreme

I wasn't going to bother talking about the new SC justice, since it's really a waste of time. Why? Because it's a done deal. She's the next justice of the SCOTUS. Period! Of course, if you know of someone who could stop her, please let me know. For those who haven't been paying attention, we now live under the rule of a one party political system, and that party sets the rules. This situation exists thanks to that group of intellectual giants, the American voters.

In spite of the disinformation being spread by the WH Obamunists and their media worshipers, Elena Kagan (who?) has never been a judge, and has rarely (if ever) battled in a court room. She is/has been the US Solicitor General, (whatever that is) which means she's a political hack picked by the Marxist in the WH. She comes from an elitist background and is a dedicated, life-long Leftist. And, she's a lesbian. Does any of this matter? Not in this country. Not any more. The upcoming congressional confirmation hearings are nothing more than a highly-orchestrated show designed to make all the lies being told about her, official. Opposition? Yeah, right! Who would oppose her? Even some of the progressive RINOS have already said, "she's a wonderful choice". You can consider those comments "voices from the dead", since they're coming from some of the progressive members of the DOA Republican party.

Her job will be to light a radical fire under the court's liberals. To push the court further and further to the Left. Some will say, well, it's just one liberal replacing another liberal. Nothing lost, nothing gained. Wrong! She will push the Leftist agenda like you've not seen before, and it's not just us, but future generations that will pay the price...

We're exchanging an old loony white guy lib, for a middle-aged, loony, white chick lib.

How does being a lesbian make it worse?

Stephens is a "living document" SCOTUS judge, as will be the new judge. Unless a court case comes to the justices that REQUIRE us to be gay, what will she be capable of doing that the old loon wasn't?

Being a lesbian doesn't necessarily make things worse. It just gives a small, usually radical group a much louder and much more powerful voice, especially that the gay marriage issue will most likely find it's way to the court.

Leftist gays weren't happy with Mexifornia's Prop-8, since it "merely" represented the will of the people, something gays deem irrelevant. Now they may have powerful help in over turning it. If they were able to find (see: invent) a "right" to an abortion in the constitution, and authority for the govt. to steal peoples private property, i'm sure finding a "right" for gays to marry won't pose much of a problem. Just because it doesn't say so, means nothing.

There's also the fact that she/he/it will be on that bench a whole lot longer than the loony white guy. More years = more damage.

At face value, she is less looney than the other people on bambi's short list. She is also the youngest on the list, so she will indeed be around for a long while.

HERE is a biased (leftward) description of complaints & responses. Many of the retorts are - "The repubs did/said it too" But still food for thought.

A common thread for all her "opinions" is that they were all "mainstream" thinking. In otherwords - she follows the crowd.

Black guys always did go for short dumpy white women.

Whose "mainstream"? Mainstream Media?

'Popular' is in the ears of the listener.

I would contend that she is out in space from a lifetime of CNN, and that her perception of Constitutional Law will be similar to that of the talking-head idiots on the alphabet channels - pliable to what ever makes their leg tingle at a given time.

She's a freaking nightmare. Just like IFO (Insane Fucking Obama).

This woman is somewhere between an imbecile and a moron. She's a career leach.

I'm still looking for the smoking gun of HOW she can be more liberal (i.e. more dangerous) than Stephens?

He's been voting the liberal line, for years. Voting the same / lame alphabet network, MSM, seal kissing, tree hugging hand-wringing, anti-American, Obama ass-kisser, Pelosi loving, Reid hugging, agenda.

SO WILL SHE.

Where's the difference?

aside from the obvious short, fat commie lesbian with an obvious agenda, she has the experience for this job not unlike that of "0" who is now your POTUS. if that doesn't get you excited about her credentials about her constitutional scholarship.....

Jimbo,

"Mainstream" was the word used in the link to describe all her choices.

It probably refers to the group of: writers @ media matters, and her "crowd".

Sorry to imply it meant mainstream USA.

She might be considered "mainstream" out in Commiewood, or in the MSM, but that's it. How much more of a leftist is she than Stevens? Well, as Botox Nancy said, we'll find out (after) she's confirmed.

But, as i said, none of this matters. You can bet your life she's in! Something else you can bet on, that she'll be confirmed "long before" the mid-term elections, so as to avoid even the possibility of her not being confirmed by what just might be a Repub congress. All just a timing coincidence? Yeah, right!

"Grammie" or whatever name he wants to call me!! said...

Aside from the fact that this all happened while I was on vacation and may have been able to stop it, now the Republicans cannot stop her confirmation. The question is will they stand against her and ask the really hard questions? For some reason I seriously doubt they will. I'm just praying that a " conservative" justice doesn't die or retire during Maobama's administration or we truly are all screwed. (A new snorkeling picture coming soon!)

Ooooooh, can't wait! BTW, welcome home.

So, you think the media's waiting to question the next justice? Do you think they're anxious to find out "the facts" of her mysterious career? Don't hold your breath.
