Wait, It's Gonna Get Better

As we all know, the good people of Arizona and their elected representatives recently passed a law that told the rest of the country, we are part of America, not Mexico! Apparently, the good folks of AZ. are tired of being used as targets for Mexico's killers, drug dealers, and kidnappers. And, since the Marxist government in DC, the Leftist MSM, and other illegal-lovers have decided to side with the above-mentioned Mexican criminals, Arizonans realized they were on their own, so they passed this law in an act of self defense. Are they paying a price for trying to protect themselves? Yes they are, but they are not just sitting there and taking it. They're fighting back.

With all the rhetoric about our illegal immigrant crisis, very few people ever mention what many feel is the root cause of the illegal invasion. Most say it's jobs, and to a small degree it is. But IMO, the real reason is a "law" passed by Demoncrats called, "The Anchor Baby Law", which says that anyone born in the US, even of parents who are here illegally, is an automatic citizen entitled to all the goodies America can offer. And it's not just the kid, but their entire family that get to cash in! This law is so insane, that we (as usual) are about the only country on earth dumb enough to have such a thing. But once again, the good Americans of AZ. are fighting back. If they succeed with this one, it may just prove to be the solution to the illegal invasion. And every real American should do whatever we can to help them. Below is a piece i borrowed from PIG. I hope you find it as interesting as i did...



"Does the name Russell Pearce sound familiar to you? It should. That is the name of the Arizona state senator who wrote Arizona's immigration enforcement law, SB 1070. As you can imagine, Pearce has been getting his share of hate mail .. I can relate. But in his response to citizens, Pearce has revealed that his immigration law-writing days aren't over just yet. He intends to push for another bill that would enable Arizona to no longer grant automatic citizenship to children of illegal immigrants who are born on US soil. In an email to a constituent, he says, "I also intend to push for an Arizona bill that would refuse to accept or issue a birth certificate that recognizes citizenship to those born to illegal aliens, unless one parent is a citizen."

Pearce argues that his idea is legal, constitutional and common sense. He says, "You can't break into someones country and then expect to be rewarded for that. You can't do it."

This absolutely the right step. They're called "anchor babies" because they're seen as anchoring the illegal parent in this country. As I understand it America may well be the only country .. or one of few .. that automatically confers citizenship upon children born to parents in this country illegally.".......... OK, I agree with the idea that illegal aliens need to GO!! But "the Democrats" NEVER passed a law that allows anchor babies.

The concept of "natural born" citizenship goes back to our origins of the United States and it's based on English Common Law. It is openly re-affirmed in the 14th Amendment.

So, it's NOT that there is an anchor baby law, it's that there was never a hole plugged that allows citizenship to be bestowed on children here, of illegally present parents.

And again, I applaud the AZ law. But the BEST way to get them to go home, is to toughen job and housing laws. Medical care laws too. Create access to the Green Card Db, so that anyone can have access who has a federal business tax ID number, including home / apt. renters.

Then

Send the job GIVERS to jail for a year minimum, 3 to 5 is better and seize their business assets IF they hire someone who doesn't have a GC with a work permit. Or who rent to illegals. let them have EMERGENCY Care while the ER is checking for GC's. Sniffles don't count.

See who would chance it THEN!

See who would stay here IF they have NO jobs, NO housing, NO medical care.

The Supreme Court has ruled only that the Constitution requires babies of "legal" immigrants be U.S. citizens.

According to the Constitution's 14th Amendment, ratified in 1868 to ensure citizenship for the newly emancipated African Americans, "all persons, born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States." The phrase "subject to the jurisdiction thereof" was intended to exclude from automatic citizenship American-born persons whose allegiance to the United States was incomplete. For example, Native Americans were excluded from American citizenship because of their tribal jurisdiction. Also not subject to American jurisdiction were foreign visitors, ambassadors, consuls, and their babies born here.

In the case of illegal aliens, "their native country has a claim of allegiance on the child." Therefore, some Constitutional scholars argue that the completeness of the allegiance to the United States is impaired and logically precludes automatic citizenship. However, this issue has never been directly decided by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Addressing Congress, Mexican president Calderon said the AZ. law introduces a terrible idea using racial profiling as a basis for law enforcement.

Then he went on CNN.

Asked Wolf Blitzer: “If people want to come [into Mexico] from Guatemala or Honduras or El Salvador or Nicaragua, they can just walk in?”

“No,” responded Calderon. “They need to fulfill a form. They need to establish their right name. We analyze if they [don’t have] a criminal [record].”

“Do Mexican police go around asking for papers of people they suspect are illegal immigrants?” asked Blitzer.

“Of course,” said Calderon.

“If somebody sneaks in from Nicaragua or some other country in Central America,” continued Blitzer, “they wind up in Mexico, can they go get a job?”

“No, no,” Calderon replied. “If somebody [does] that without permission, we send back — we send them back.”

Of all of the countries that I have lived in during my life, the US embassy requires that proper paperwork be filed before the newborn child of an american citizen can recieve a passport in order to be counted as an american citizen. In contrast, if the paperwork is not filed within a certain amount of time, the child is declared an illegal alien in that country even though the parents are there illegally.

Our political leadership gives away way, way, way too much...and the rest of the world has started to demand that we do so as a matter of fairness.
