Remember the Neutron Bomb?

This was an atomic weapon being designed a few decades ago designed to kill people and leave all the structures intact. We haven't heard much about it in recent years, but it occurred to me the philosophy behind it is what is being used against us now. Whether it is terrorism, economic collapse, internal revolution (and I don't mean teabaggers), economic, etc., it amkes sense for these evildoers to keep the infrastructure intact. The object is to destroy us, but keep as much stuff as possible.

An economic neutron bomb IS possible. But the assumption that the country will go through a huge upheaval, yet NOT destroy the infrastructure, is ludicrous. Remember the L.A. riots over Rodney King? Or the race riots of the 1960's? Those were localized by race, as was the destruction.

A general collapse won't be localized. Neither would the destruction.

The new neutron bomb of the 21st century is the computer. It can wipe out people, infrastructure, govt's and nations in seconds. Wall St.'s computers almost did us in yesterday and all within less than a minute. I would love to hear how many people (and who) became multi-millionaires during those few seconds. You know somebody did.

Steve, the riots you mention had nothing to do with King, or the phony issues in the 60's. They were simply the excuses needed to trigger a "lets get free stuff" period. You didn't see mobs of blacks running to rescue King. But you did see mobs of blacks looting every liquor store, TV store, and gun shop they could find. Same thing happened in NOLA right after Katrina. If there is a "general upheaval" in this country, (ie: voilence) that's where it will come from, and it won't require a rational reason.
