Free Country? For How Long?

One of the last places remaining in this country where we can have free and open discussions and state our opinions is the Internet. But would that still be the case if the Marxist-in-Chief, his czars, and Butch Napilitano, the head of Homeland Stupidity, had their hands on the Internets power switch?

Since we all know how easy it is for this administration and the elected liars in congress to create an "emergency or crisis", how difficult would it be for them to "invent" an emergency, then take control of the entire Internet? With that control comes the ability to censor, monitor, and regulate, and of course, it'll all be done "to protect the children". Once the elected crooks have control of the Internet, they will then do what they've been dying to do for a long time, and that is, TAX it! There are Billions of dollars worth of transactions conducted over the Internet every day. Can you name one elected DC crook who would not want to get their hands on a piece of that? And once they get it, the state and local govt. crooks who are all desperate for money will jump right it for their piece of the action.

Do you remember that old saying, "you don't know what you have until you lose it"? I wonder if the American people will be saying that about their freedom and liberty. In fact, i wonder how many of the people are actually aware that they're losing it...

It would appear that Butch Napilitano does read the blogs, maybe even this one! The head of the Dept. of Homeland Stupidity has backed away from an order she/he/it gave to govt. employees as to what they can see and read on the internet, including "controversial opinions", which of course, are any opinions that disagree with the Marxist in the WH. Power to the people!
