I had a thought...

Yeah, it scared me at first too.
.
The Travel Channel is running a commercial for their show called 'Mysteries at the Museum". This weeks episode is about the Stanford Prison Experiment back in the 1970's. As a trivia junky I've read about this before, maybe too in my one college level psychology class, or in an old Mad Magazine. WTF difference that makes I don't know, but I digress.
.
My mind works in mysterious ways sometime.
.
We've been talking about the WSJerks for a few days and suddenly, while the commercial was running, I sudden;y remembered something I read about the experiment and it seems to fit the protestors. One of the things the study showed was cognitive dissonance theory and how it affected the 'prisoners' and 'guards' at Stanford. But here comes the part I (partly) remembered.
.
Cognitive dissonance is a discomfort caused by holding conflicting ideas simultaneously. The theory of cognitive dissonance proposes that people have a motivational drive to reduce dissonance. They do this by changing their attitudes, beliefs, and actions. Dissonance is also reduced by justifying, blaming, and denying.
.
Now I ask you students of the world, does THAT sound like the Left in general and the WSJerks in particular or not? We can see by their clothes and by their erudite speech that they are NOT disenfranchised nor poor, the very thing they seek to change. They come from, by their own stories in the news, the upper crust, high dollar schools AND from our own Entertainment Elite!
.
The simple self loathing idiots! I'd swap with them!! Let them take MY monthly check and I'll take their monthly paychecks!. I'm betting I'd give more to charity / a church than they do now. Wha'daya think?

"Listen up, O'Donnell, Garofalo, and all you other pompous liberal plantation slave massas. By the Grace of God, we black Americans are free -- free to be successful entrepreneurs such as Herman Cain and countless other blacks rather than government-dependent welfare recipients. We blacks are free to live outside your liberal stereotypical dictates. I prefer sushi over fried chicken. Does that make me "less" black? Probably, in the minds of arrogant liberal racists..."

I was with Lloyd until he got the sushi thing. I prefer the chicken. I'm like Terry Bradshaw.

Raw fish, where I come from, is BAIT!

He's right though. All they've done is hamstring blacks for the last 50 years. More African-Americans live in poverty now, or prison than they did before integration. And once again let me say, it was DEMOCRATS who fought integration, DEMOCRATS who built the Klan during Reconstruction, and it was DEMOCRATS who put Confederate Battle Flags over Southern State Houses in the 1950's and 1960's. George Wallace, Lester Maddox, ROBERT BYRD...all DEMOCRATS!!

Garafolo is the lowest form of idiotarian. She is PRECISELY the kind of self taught 'intellectual' who followed Hitler, Stalin, and Chavez to prove she isn't part of the unwashed middle and lower classes.

What a jerk.

I'm guessing she was protesting 'something' and was absent during Communists, Socialists and Totalitarians 101, where the instructor taught that those people imprison or kill homosexuals and lesbians?

She's another one who knows just enough to be dangerous.

We can always count on the "worldly wisdom" coming from the former waiters, waitress's, shoe salesman, make-up counter girls, and parking lot attendants, who got lucky, (or slept with the right director) and became the wealthy, all-knowing "celebrities" they are today. And since we have the type of MSM that we have, these Leftist cretins always have a TV camera or microphone available to them, creating the illusion that their opinions are somehow important.

Odd, how you rarely, if ever, hear from the 3 or 4 conservative celebrities out there in commiewood. Kind of makes you think the playing field out there is a bit lopsided?
