Weakness Begets Aggression

As i've said many times, IMO, the Republican Party, with it's unwillingness to "deal with" the Left, represents weakness. This opinion of the GOP may be more far-reaching than most people think. It may also explain why tough-talking guys like Gingrich and Paul have been doing far better than anyone would have originally thought. If the Repubs have any hope of winning something, anything, they had better take the gloves off, and i don't mean with each other. So far, the Republican plan seems to have been designed by David Axelrod.

While on the subject of political weakness, consider what would happen if a young black female, a liberal Demoncrat running for congress, went on a Conservative talk show, such as Rush Limbaugh, as was racially insulted and berated by the host. Would you expect to hear about it from the left-wing MSM? How many minutes do you think it would take before all the professional race-pimps, like Al $harptongue and Je$$ie Jackass, were on every single TV network screaming for the host's head, and job? In fact, would we even be able to hear them over the hysterical rantings of the NAACP and NOW? Unless i missed it, i haven't heard a word from any Repub about the below-linked story.

Being passive, polite, and playing the game of politics by some absurd and imaginary set of rules, will, IMO, surely mean defeat in 2012...

“The goal of the “liberals”—as it emerges from the record of the past decades—was to smuggle this country into welfare statism by means of single, concrete, specific measures, enlarging the power of the government a step at a time, never permitting these steps to be summed up into principles, never permitting their direction to be identified or the basic issue to be named. Thus statism was to come, not by vote or by violence, but by slow rot—by a long process of evasion and epistemological corruption, leading to a fait accompli. (The goal of the “conservatives” was only to retard that process.)” –– Ayn Rand

I had this VERY conversation with Mrs. Schteveo just yesterday.

We were discussing the Susan Kommen people buckling to the lib media and deciding on continued giving money to Planned Parenthood. I told her I don't understand why people or organization from the right, or not from the left, don't stand up and say the things WE (regular folks) all think and say! Just tell the truth and let the people decide. It seems like THE simplest form of doing things right.

Why won't just ONE conservative stand up and tell the TRUTH about SOMETHING!!!!!? Tagging along on the title of this topic, by Spider, they show weakness that just causes them to come after us all the harder.

Sort of like what happens when a frightened dog rolls over and shows it's belly to wolves.

From the NY Post. Not a surprise coming from NY, but is it a trend?

"Obama, who was barely in positive territory in Siena's August 2011 poll, has climbed to a 64-34 favorability rating - up five points in the last month - with a highest-ever 58 percent of New York voters saying they'd re-elect him vs. 36 percent for "someone else" - up from 47-45 in August.

Meanwhile New York Republicans are closely divided between former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (31 percent) - the favorite of most New York Republican pols - and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (29 percent) for this year's GOP presidential nomination. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas has 16 percent support and former US Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania has 13 percent, the poll found.

Romney comes nearest in a head-to-head matchup with Obama in New York - (but loses by 32 points.)

Though most voters said the country is headed in the wrong direction (51-42), it's a big improvement from May (66-26)..."

The best and the brightest are not what they used to be. They are out of here. Better off being a car mechanic or a plumber, if you can get into the union
