When was the last time you heard about bank closings? They, BTW, are UP this year, but last year it was GWB's fault. When was the last time you heard about foreclosures? They too, are UP this year. How about that 8% Unemployment Rate we were promised? It's way UP over that.

I think the MSM is taking Rahm's words well. Never let a crisis go unused is being built up as a trump card. They are using the Gulf Oil Spill, to turn our heads from the real problems. Yes it is an environmental disaster. But so is the economic melt down of our country!

I posted an article about this very subject on 6/7, titled Could It Be, in which i suggested that the reason for the MSM's apparent turning on Odumbo might be because they are reading the changing political winds, and as always, want to create the impression that they're on the peoples side. Of course, nothing could be further from the truth.
My pal Steve suggests the MSM's odd (for them) behavior might also be to simply distract the peoples attention away from all the things Obummer is screwing-up. IMO, this is also a valid explanation. It's not easy to pin someone down when they're playing on both sides of the fence, and i think that's exactly what the MSM is doing.
By knocking Odumbo, they create the illusion that they're with the people. A lie! On the other hand, they can always tell their Demoncrat masters they were knocking him to distract the people. Either way, they hope to come out on top, no matter what happens in Nov. While the MSM is clearly devoted to it's Leftist ideology, for them, their true master is money/power. The lying crooks in DC don't watch the medias commercials, the source of their wealth, only the people watch. And if the people stop watching, as is the trend, their sponsers will drop them. Check mate!

I used to have a boss who poked fun at our mutual top bosses. And when he caught them doing things that were questionable, he would say that they planned to do "IT", with smoke and mirrors and Chinese Money.
I had no ideas that his jibes were prophetic utterings.
