Ever see the movie "Red Dawn"? If not, you should get a copy and watch it since it may give you a glimpse as to what life might be like in Amerika soon. Sound crazy? What doesn't these days. If this legislation becomes law, and the American people don't arm themselves and rise up, then the Marxist-in-Chief, the Demoncrats, the MSM, and the rest of the Left are right, in that, the American people are so weak, so divided, so distracted, and so gullible, that there is no limit to the amount of abuse they'll take, so long as it's presented properly. I wonder if they're right...

Anyway, this lawyer was concerned about a bank collapse and rioting. It got kicked around quite a bit that WE could never have riots HERE. Ultimately his wife told him your guns or me! And he chose her.
I hope she can shoot high caliber bullets outta her...yeah, huh!! When the riots start, they'll need them.
He chose her? Damned fool. A gun is a lot more reliable than a wife, easier to take with you, and usually looks better.
Back to topic:
We've had this conversation here before, about just what the American people will do "in the event" it all goes sideways. Would they grab their guns and rise up? Would they riot?
Well, look around friends. Things are about as sideways as they can get. Our hard-earned money, our freedoms, and our liberties are being taken from us more each day. But the only people i see "rising up" are the anarchists and communists. Hell, i can't even remember the last time i heard something from the Tea Party!
Will average Americans rise up? Riot? IMO, not a chance. The "dumbing down of America" which has been going on for decades has been far more successful than anyone ever thought. The best we can hope for is that they "rise up" in the voting booth, and i wouldn't bet the farm on that either.
IMO, what the American people have shown the "powers that be", is that there's no amount of abuse the people will not tolerate so long as it's presented in the right way. The people have been drained of their money, their will, their right to a Constitutional govt, and to a great extent, even their right to think for themselves. And if that's not enough to make people grab their guns and rise up, then nothing will. I, for one, truly wish it were not so.
