What Would James Bond Think

I wonder what 007 would think of today's CIA. There was a time when the CIA was the role model for most of the world's intelligence agencies. Then, back in the early 90's, along came Bubba and Hitlary Clinton who took a meat-ax to the agency. They gutted it and placed many of their loyal bean-counting progressives in positions of authority. Rules were changed so that long-standing, and highly effective, tactics were done away. In other words, the agency was "PC'ized".

To many around the world, especially intelligence professionals, the 9/11 attack was a sure sign that there were deep and serious problems at the CIA, since by all accounts, the 9/11 attacks were as much a surprise to them as they were to the rest of us. That should not have been the case.

Today, America is surrounded by some very vicious and highly-dedicated enemies, all with the same basic goal in mind. These are groups and nations who couldn't care less about "playing by the rules", as we do. They all understand that those rules, put in place by the elected, lying crooks in DC, are one of our greatest weakness's. And, they're right...
