I'd be looking for somebody's HEAD on a pike!

Two items on this one. The first is that some jerk weed teacher in Wisconsin took his 4th Grade Class to the State Capital, so they could learn to and help with the protests in the Rotunda. They marched them in a circle and had them sign "This land is your land...", by Woody Guthrie, along with the protesting teachers.
.
That ALONE is a problem. But when the kids told their parents, and the pictures of said kids hit social networks, it took the local school superintendent THREE WEEKS to make any statement! Now I guess, they're still 'investigating' the incident, although the teacher has been 'reprimanded'.
.
The teacher and the Sup. need to be working at The Gap ASAP as for my two cents!
.
A fourth-grade teacher in Wisconsin has been reprimanded after he allowed his students to participate in a political protest against Gov. Scott Walker on a field trip to the state Capitol building.

Video of the incident was aired by FOX6 in Milwaukee earlier this week. In it, students could be seen clapping while protesters with a group called the "solidarity singers" belted out a modified version of "This Land Is Your Land." The last verse includes the line, "Scott Walker will never push us out, this house was made for you and me."

According to FOX6, the Portage School District this week released a letter of reprimand which was put in the file of the teacher chaperoning the trip. The teacher said he was "embarrassed" by the incident but insisted he did nothing wrong, according to the report.

.
And oddly, when you go look for this, Google search, I find that ONLY Fox and Fox affiliates are even running the story.
.
I'm guessing the other networks / stations / affiliates were too busy trashing Herman Cain to come out and report on this?

I saw this video on the news this morning. Yes, Fox. Unfortunately, and typically, none of the on-air talking heads at Fox thought to ask why what this video was showing wasn't considered child abuse. Those poor kids were acting like trained seals!

While America was asleep, one of the things that happened was that, in far, far too many instances, our public school teachers went from teaching to "indoctrinating". Now it's too late because pretty much the entire system is run by radical Leftist unions, and they're the ones who say what will be "taught".

Poots,
pike as in, long pole with a pointed metal tip.

Not pike as in fish. Why would I want somebody's head on top of a fish. Now if FISH were the topic.

That School Sup sleeping with fish would work too.

Hail here is not all that uncommon, but it's usually quarter sized TOPS.

However, I've been in two hail storms west of the Mississippi River. One west of St. Louis a few miles was about golf ball sized and we hid under a bridge on the interstate. They were everywhere, but it went by quickly.

The other one was just northeast of San Francisco. The hail was quarter to fifty cent piece sized. Again, we piled up under an overpass. But it went ON, and ON, and ON, maybe 4 or 5 minutes.

It covered the ground and roadway like snow, at least 2 or 3 inches deep. When it stopped it was so foggy, from the melting ice and hot humid air, we couldn't drive. We pulled over and waited a half hour for the weather and wrecks to clear away!

Hopefully it wasn't that severe, but in AZ I know it can be.

You want hail? Look in your inbox. That is from a month ago. Maybe a year and a month. Don't really remember. I think it was right after that big dust storm.
