Let me say at the outset, that I think terminally ill people should
have the right to pull their own plug. I watched my sister and
mother-in-law die from breast cancer within 4 months of each other. I
think my sister would have opted for life, but I think Mom would have
pulled the plug. But as adults, they should have had the choice.
On
May 8, 1945, the limited controllers of power, of what remained of the
Nazi Military surrendered unconditionally to the Allied Forces. And we
thought that we'd saved Western Europe from socialist tyranny and the
Nazi ideas of Ubermensh and Eugenics and the Death Camps. There was
dancing and drinking and celebration in NYC and in London especially.
I've seen the photos and films to prove it.
.
But somehow,
between May 8, 1945 to today, many people have taken on many of the
ideas OF the Nazis, and the Home of the British Empire in WWII has
adopted not ONLY a choice of dying for the sick and elderly, they've now
begun euthanizing sick children. Hell no I'm not making this up, I've
got proof.
.
UPDATE: I have removed the quoted lines, because they were screwing up the entire blog. You can read the entire article, .HERE....
Parents
and care teams are unprepared for the SOMETIMES severe changes that
they will witness?! Well no SHIT! And let me be frank, WHAT ABOUT THAT BABY OR CHILD!!! WTF are THEY going through?
.
I gotta tell you, I'm shocked that anyone could do this to a child!
And
yes, I do have reference. My dad died from complications of Parkinsons
Disease. He was at home, under Hospice Care, for a week. After
watching my sister die, both my parents signed Living Wills, so we knew Pop's wishes. He wanted NO Heroic Measures or MONEY spent to keep him alive artificially.
.
After
the doctors gave him the long face, we all made quick provisions for
hospice to help us set up the house for Pop. A hospital bed, and an
oxygen tank were the ONLY things we got, and I think the tank was a
'legal thing' [???]. Pop went to sleep 8 or 10 hours after his last
doctor visit where they told him his body was shutting down. He was at
home on that very first night of Hospice Care, we all hugged him, kissed
him goodnight and he simply never woke up again. And even though he
didn't have food or water for a week, he looked basically the same when
he passed. As a grown man, he had enough weight and fluid in his body
to last that week. He truly died from his body quitting.
I
cannot imagine watching your baby or child shrivel and die from hunger
and thirst like that. How do you look at each other, your family or
YOURSELF in the mirror again?
.
Lastly,
this is the outcome of 60 years of Socialized Medicine in the UK. And
even though they are weaning themselves OFF of that medical nightmare,
this practice has, evidently, only recently begun over there. I expect
it's the last gasp of their, supposed, Medical Ethicists, most of whom in the world are RAVING Leftists.
(for those NOT in the loop, the medical community is ruled, run, and administered by Lefties just like education is )
.
What concerns me is the WORLDWIDE interconnection of organizations of the Medical Community. Certainly our [Leftist]
Medical Ethicists are intouch [and lockstep] with the ones in the UK
and the EU, so tell me this won't happen here. And tell me it won't
happen ASAP here, and NOT in 60 years, as we are just starting our nightmare dance with Socialized Medicine.
After all, it was the American Progressive Eugenicists from whom the Nazis
borrowed many of their ideas about euthanasia. Remind me again, who is
it who is running our Medical System now? Well the Progressives are in
charge, but they'll never kill babies or children, there won't be a
'Death Panel', they said so, President Obama assured us!
You
can tell me all day, everyday, but I won't believe you, not now, not
ever. I don't trust anyone who would starve to death or allow a baby to
die from thirst, not now, not ever.

FF - Fox News is already cowering down to the President...
In response to President Obama's complaint that FOX News doesn't show enough Black and Hispanic people on their network, FOX has announced that they will now air " America 's Most Wanted" TWICE a week.
In fact, I think this guy IS my older brother!!!
I'm not sure how, or why my mother gave birth to this gentleman, nor how he got to England, but SURELY, he and I are brothers.

After years of his [worthless] kids pissing away their lives, and his and his wife's money, time, energy and emotions, Nick Crews wrote a scathing open letter on FaceBook to his children.

Dear All Three
With last evening's crop of whinges and tidings of more rotten news for which you seem to treat your mother like a cess-pit, I feel it is time to come off my perch.
It is obvious that none of you has the faintest notion of the bitter disappointment each of you has in your own way dished out to us. We are seeing the miserable death throes of the fourth of your collective marriages at the same time we see the advent of a fifth.
We are constantly regaled with chapter and verse of the happy, successful lives of the families of our friends and relatives and being asked of news of our own children and grandchildren. I wonder if you realise how we feel — we have nothing to say which reflects any credit on you or us. We don't ask for your sympathy or understanding — Mum and I have been used to taking our own misfortunes on the chin, and making our own effort to bash our little paths through life without being a burden to others. Having done our best — probably misguidedly — to provide for our children, we naturally hoped to see them in turn take up their own banners and provide happy and stable homes for their own children.
So we witness the introduction to this life of six beautiful children — soon to be seven — none of whose parents have had the maturity and sound judgment to make a reasonable fist at making essential threshold decisions. None of these decisions were made with any pretence to ask for our advice.
In each case we have been expected to acquiesce with mostly hasty, but always in our view, badly judged decisions. None of you has done yourself, or given to us, the basic courtesy to ask us what we think while there was still time finally to think things through. The predictable result has been a decade of deep unhappiness over the fates of our grandchildren. If it wasn't for them, Mum and I would not be too concerned, as each of you consciously, and with eyes wide open, crashes from one cock-up to the next. It makes us weak that so many of these events are copulation-driven, and then helplessly to see these lovely little people being so woefully let down by you, their parents.
.
Mr. Crews goes on in that manner for a number of paragraphs. And, having seen these worthless humps here too, he's dead on for 75% to 90% of people under 40, living this way!
.
Anyway, I'm fully onboard with his sentiment, and parents should, IMnsHO, use the tough love syndrome when the kids get too big to spank.

The UN States of America?
Are we heading for the time when Amerika will be ruled by the U.N.? Does that sound a bit nutty to you? Well, maybe you shouldn't start laughing just yet.
For a long time, there have been those on the Left calling for a "one-world government", with the UN being that govt. Remember Hitlary Clinton telling us that Amerika was just part of the "global village" when she and Bubba were in the WH? Now that our country is controlled by Socialists, Marxists, and the "one-world" crowd, the idea of having the UN running the world, and especially the US, is starting to grow legs.
As we speak, the Muslim-in-Chief and Hitlary are deeply involved in treaty talks at the UN. And one of those treaties is about "arms control". (see: gun control ) That's right. The US would have to abide by any treaty we sign, no matter what our Constitution says.
Do you think having the UN flag flying above the WH and Capital Hill would bother the notoriously gullible and brain-dead American sheeple? Do you think they would even notice it? No, neither do i...

Think It Can't Get Worse?
As my dear old Dad used to say, "hey, it can always get worse!" And, had i asked him what he thought of the SCOTUS being made up of nine women, he would've said, "see what i mean?"
It seems that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, an ultra, ultra-liberal Jew from Brooklyn, NY, feels the court should consist of only women. Now, i don't know about you guys, but that scares the s**t outta me! In fact, even back in the days when i was "happily" married, it still would've scared me. Let's hope the Marxist-in-Chief didn't hear her comments...

What's wrong with this paragraph?
Though publicly the administration presents a united front on the use of
drones, behind the scenes there is longstanding tension. The Defense
Department and the C.I.A. continue to press for greater latitude to
carry out strikes; Justice Department and State Department officials,
and the President’s counter terrorism adviser, John O. Brennan, have argued for restraint, officials involved in the discussions say.
.
.
WHHYYYYYY are the DOJ and State involved in deciding zip POINT shit about wars, or whom to kill, or how to kill them? It's a W-A-R, or it was at one time. If the Pentagon has become involved, the State Department MUST have FAILED at a diplomatic effort, right?
.
And the DOJ should only get involved at the conclusion of any fighting, skirmish or war, to work with the Geneva Convention and the World Court to find and convict War Criminals, like they did at Nuremberg and Tokyo after WWII. Lawyers helping to decide who will kill, how many or through what means is just lain ridiculous.
.
If that applies, then why doesn't the DoD get called for prosecuting crimes that span the borders? I'm not being flippant, I'm asking a serious question here. IF the DoJ is in the decision loop on drone strikes, then why doesn't the DoD get called about international crimes that cross our borders, coming in, or going out?.
.
But honestly, the best part of this article is the beginning.
.
Facing the possibility that President Obama might not win a second term, his administration accelerated work in the weeks before the election to develop explicit rules for the targeted killing of terrorists by unmanned drones, so that a new president would inherit clear standards and procedures, according to two administration officials.
.
I guess the thinking was that..."...but we might LOSE this thing, so let's HAMSTRING those guys who are coming in, then maybe the terrorists will run rampant and we can break it off in the Republicans asses in '14 & '16! BWAHHAHAhahhahaaaaaaaaaaaaa.!!!!"
.
How is it that this isn't treasonous? Or at least Impeachable for ANY administration to do this kind of crap! You al know that i am very pessimistic about our future. but I will say, if there IS another terrorist attack in America, I hope it hits some section of our country that will so shake this idiot voting age citizernry, that for 100 years they won't consider putting anyone in the White House who doesn't show up with his OWN CCW / CCH!
It seems to me that a person who would shoot miscreants to protect himself and his family and the population at large, might just try to protect ALL of our families over the long run.

Happy Thanksgiving to All.
I just wanted to take a minute to say Happy Thanksgiving to you all. As sad as our situation is, it could be much worse. This far, fanatics aren't dragging 'accused' spies, collaboraters, or anyone they just don't like, behind motorcycles.
Yeah, that's a buzz kill.
But look around you...give thanks for who and where we are...give thanks for your wives, kids, family in whatever amounts or doses see,s appropriate to you...and give thanks that we still have the freedom to come in here and bitch or hold hands.
Kum ba ya is still not mandatory. (and as it's a spiritual, not likely to be under ANY (D) WH rule)

In My Opinion, ...
Well, it's finally over. The election that is. Now, it's just the pain and suffering that's left. The electoral college decided that the Marxist-in-Chief needed another four years to finish this country off. Notice i didn't say the voters. They actually had nothing to say about it, even though, "allegedly", some 51% of them agreed.
I'm sure a lot of us here have been scratching our heads wondering how the American sheeple could be so blind. Then again, most of us know how blind, weak, gullible, and distracted they can be, and usually are. The MSM makes billions every year simply because they are aware of that fact. Now, the Left has a very firm grip on just about everything.
Personally, i don't blame the Demoncrats, the Left, or the MSM, for doing what they do. I blame the republicans for not realizing the strengths and weakness's of the enemy, and not having the brains, strength, the will, the passion, or the backbone, to even mount a credible fight. They got "steamrollered"! I also blame the tea party for drying-up and blowing away just when they were needed most. (i will no longer use upper-case letters when writing about republicans or the tea party. It is my way of showing a total lack of respect for both...)
Now the Left and radical Left have this country by the throat, and they've already started to squeeze. IMO, the next four years are going to be dark years for our country, our freedoms, and our liberties, at least those we still have left. We will see the most radical leftist agendas being pushed, and accepted, all over the country. What is there to stop them. The only question now is, can America survive the next four years and still be America. IMO, it will not...

Yet another reason to miss California, it's gone.
Way back in the olden times, when I was a young trainee squid, my wife and I, enroute to yet another school at Great Lakes Naval Training Center, stopped in San Jose to visit my wife's cousin and his family. On that Saturday, we ditched our respective children with another cousin, and we went into San Francisco. We did all the tourist stuff and late in the day we took the ferry over to Tiburon to see yet more family.
On the ferry were two gay men, strolling the deck, taking pictures and occasionally swapping spit. Personally, I don't care, so long as they didn't try to kiss me, I, do, not, care. My wife's cousin got all wound up and complained that the SF City Council had taken a vote to quit using the old vice laws aimed at stopping such public displays among men & men, women & women, cats & dogs, etc.
That was in 1978. Since then, by all I've actually seen there in a half dozen returns, and by news stories, they've quit enforcing ANY laws that curb the SF Nuttery. That is, until now. And this is where I say, if this next story doesn't prove that we've lost our way overall, lost our cultural guideposts and lost any semblance of civility, then you aren't as sharp as you give yourself for being.
San Francisco’s lawmakers are voting Tuesday on whether to ban nudity in a city where anything goes, including clothes.
The ordinance would prohibit nudity in most public places. It represents an escalation of a two-year fight between a group of men who strut their stuff through the city’s famously gay Castro District and the supervisor who represents the area.
Supervisor Scott Wiener’s proposal would make it illegal for a person over the age of 5 to “expose his or her genitals, perineum or anal region on any public street, sidewalk, street median, parklet or plaza” or while using public transit.
“I don’t think having some guys taking their clothes off and hanging out seven days a week at Castro and Market Street is really what San Francisco is about. I think it’s a caricature of what San Francisco is about,” Wiener said.
Exemptions would be made for participants at permitted street fairs and parades, such as the city’s annual gay pride event and the Folsom Street Fair, which celebrates sadomasochism and other sexual subcultures.
.
Well, by all means let's have SOME exemptions! We wouldn't want the ass spankers and ass spankees grouped in with those low life nudists who stand around buck naked for their health. I'm betting there was plenty of weird and perverse behavior in Rome, Athens, Persia, etc, just before the marauding hordes descended into to town for some raping and pillaging marauding horde style!
.
And they're JUST deciding 'whether' to do this or not. I'm betting people with small children want this. Or old people. Or guys who sell clothing even. You want to walk around naked, go out in the forest where people don't HAVE to see you! Listen, I'm a big fan of naked, but I don't got to the Wal-Mart that way.
And how is it that a guy named WEINER got elected in SF, especially in the Castro District? WTH was HE thinking?! WTH were the voters thinking? Surely, you'd think they'd think of how that sounds to the rest of the country..

No Way!
Did anyone actually think the Demoncrats would allow a black Conservative Republican, and favored member of the Tea Party, to win an election? No way!
Knowing that FloriDUH apparently has some of the dumbest, most confused voters in the country, people who are now infamous for screwing-up several major elections, the Demoncrats, lead by "the most " liberal and partisan member of congress, and also the biggest liar they have, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, saw an opportunity to get rid of a genuine threat to their agenda, Col Allen West. Now, because of political corruption, one of America's best finds himself having to fight for his political life.
This should serve as a wake-up call for all those fools who actually believe in "fair" elections...

Night of the Long Knives
Several days ago I said I thought the Patraeus Affair was a set up. I said it was done to begin the dis-assembly of our upper echelon military officers. I'm no longer sure where I said what, but I'm still of the same opinion today, maybe more so given the Gen. Allen angle.

But here's my other side. I love parody and comedy knock-off, if it's done well. I've got one here that IS done quite well. Especially if you like Christopher Walken. Ladies and Germs, I give you,

MORE good reasons to move to TX or even Louisiana!
UPDATE: Wednesday, 10:40 AM, EST
According to 'The Daily Caller', there are now Petitions for Secession from ALL 50 States.
I'm no genius, but it seems to me that regardless of who started these, or how many people, or what percentage per capita those signatories represent, this is one hell of a mess for the Obama Administration. Again, going not just back to the Civil War, but now back to the very beginning of our country, not since then, have the states had a movement to dissolve the old, and want to bring in the 'new'.
The 'new' in this case, oddly, is the 'old', or actually the 'original'. We may be the only country in the history of the world where the Rebels WANT the old system, not something new!
_______________________________________________________________________________
UPDATE: Tuesday, 8:25 AM, EST
Texas has gotten the 25K signatures necessary for the petition to be considered.
I have zero legal knowledge of how this could or would work. But if there is ONE state hard headed and strong enough to start this ball rolling, it's Texas! When they say "Don't Mess with Texas", they are NOT kidding.
_______________________________________________________________________________
We all talk about armed resistance, molon labe, let 'em come, end of the world as we know it...or just the end of our country as we know it, right? Or we worry about being rounded up by our CURRENT government, and shot at by our own troops or blown to hell by black helicopters.
Well, the smart people in Louisiana and Texas ARE doing something I don't think I ever considered.
They both have petitions making the rounds to secede from the U.S. It's the best deal out there in my opinion. TX has oil and natgas, LA has refineries and chemical plants. TX has tons of space for windmills or solar farms.
They've got all the stuff a country needs, deep water ports, fuels, refineries, vegetable foods and meats and the ability to replenish same. They grow a lot of cotton in TX and LA has rice.
So the question becomes, WILL our elected worms let them leave, taking natural resources, farming and ranching and refining capabilities with them? OR, will there first be a legal battle and then a lead flying people getting pissed off and killed battle? Or is that the logical progression in the country to day anyway?
Beyond all that, those are still two of the states that would fair well outside as countries or inside in a civil war. Texas is ONCE again looking like a great place to start over. And as reluctant as my better half has been to move anywhere, she's begun to ask my WHERE in Texas, not why or how!

Does It Pass The Smell Test?
Is it just me, or is there something wrong with this story? I mean, the head of CIA has his emails looked into by some FBI agent? Really? Wouldn't you think that someone who controls the nations spies and spooks, with all their high-tech gadgets, could cover his trail a little better, assuming you believe the girlfriend story?
So then, why the headlines? Was Petraeus told he had to fall on his sword for his chief? But why would the Marxist in the Oval Office throw his top general under a tank? Well, when was the last time you heard anyone talking about the four Americans butchered in Benghazi? What story is all over the nations front pages and news shows today? Do you remember how the "Fast and Furious" case was made to disappear the very same way, via distraction? Oh, you forgot about Fast and Furious. See? It's an old trick, but when you control the MSM, it's still very effective.
And now what. Will house republicans start yet another investigation? (LMAO!) Yeah, i'm sure that'll scare the Muslim-in-Chief. He just might choke from laughing so hard...

The Anesthetic Known As Voting
This is an article for all those who actually believe in our political system...
WASHINGTON, DC – Sources confirmed today that hundreds of thousands of military absentee ballots were delivered hours after the deadline for them to be counted, with preliminary counts showing that they would have overturned the vote in several states and brought a victory for Governor Mitt Romney.
Military Absentee BallotsOfficials say the ballots were delivered late due to problems within the military mail system. Tracking invoices show the ballots sat in a warehouse for a month, then they were accidentally labeled as ammunition and shipped to Afghanistan. At Camp Dwyer, Marine Sergeant John Davis signed for them and was surprised at the contents.
"I told Gunny we got a bunch of ballots instead of ammo," Davis told investigators earlier today. "He told me to file a report of improper delivery and that the chain of command would take care of it. We didn't hear anything for three weeks. While we were waiting we came under fire so we dumped a bunch of them in the Hescoes. We didn't dig those ones back out." After military officials realized the initial error, the ballots were then sent back to the U.S. but suffered a series of setbacks.
Twelve boxes of ballots were dropped overboard during delivery to the USS Kearsarge (LHD-3) in the Persian Gulf, then while the ship sailed to Bahrain, postal clerks allegedly pocketed whatever ballots they wanted. The remaining absentee ballots were loaded onto a C-130, but the flight was delayed until November 1st so the crew could get tax free pay for the month. Once the ballots arrived stateside they were promptly mailed to each state's counting facility, reaching their final destination on November 7th...

Is the DEA is going away? Hopefully
One of the interesting things that happened on Tuesday were the Marijuana Approval Votes in Colorado and Washington both passed Pot for Fun Referendums. And this is what NORML has been pushing for since they formed in 1970.
This has been pushed, by the Leftist MSM AND what little Right-Wing Media there is, as a fight between Conservative Values and Liberal lack of Values or Liberal Druggies vs Christian Conservatives.
I'm throwing the Horse Poop flag!
There aren't enough 18 to 30 year old druggies out there to get these laws passed. The thing that was wrong and the idea that's wrong is the WHO that for this. It was the 18 to 30 year olds en masse, not just 'druggies' [whaeverTF that word even means now] and it was Libertarians and Libertarian leaning Conservatives regardless of age added in FOR THE WIN.
I'm for a total revocation of stupid drug laws. There's no proof that smoking pot leads to being a crack head or a Lion of Industry. But getting caught often leads to jail. And there is ZERO agreement on what level of severity to place on getting caught A pound of pot in Texas is a Life Sentence, Manslaughter is 8 to 12 years. A pound in some other places is a $5000 fine and 2 years probation.
Is there one adult with an IQ over 90 who thinks that makes sense!?
Like I've said before, I think you out to be able to walk into a pharmacy, or your favorite liquor store in the case of marijuana, throw down that drivers license and buy 10 qualudes or 10 vials of crack. Yes I did say crack. Let's face it, we spend a couple BILLION $$$ a year trying to stop this stuff. The drug cartels and the gangs make ten times that much, it's the same system that Capone, et al used during Prohibition. Elliot Ness didn't shut them down. J. Edgar Hoover didn't shut them down. Local, state and federal cops working together didn't shut them down.
It was the Twenty-First Amendment that shut them down, stopped their cash flow, stopped their inter-gang fighting and the collateral damage of honest citizens being blow up, shot and or killed and deaths from bad, rot gut alcohol being sold.
I think both WA and CO will take this all the way to SCOTUS. And I think this SCOTUS, without any changes, will allow the laws to stand. And IMnonHO, they should stand.
We need Legalization, Taxation, Education and Rehabilitation. All of it paid for, just like alcohol, meat, vegetable, grain and vehicles are inspected and made safe now, by the collected taxes of those buying the product. Will there be drug 'bootlegging'? Well hell yes. But it's ALL bootlegged now! And even those who don't buy or use any drugs are paying the tariff for NOT getting the use, importation or murder of the current crazy ass system stopped.
And I didn't even touch on fewer people in courts, jails and probation / parole systems for drug charges and the Billions saved there..

The End of An Empire
The End of an Empire by Dr. Ileana Johnson Paugh, for the Canada Free Press;
"Our Constitutional Republic died a peaceful death on November 6, 2012. Having reached the point of no return in a comatose state after years of progressive and illegal immigration assaults, the fabric of conservative society is now completely unraveled and Uncle Sam’s America is no more. The United States of America is now relegated to the dust bin of history as a “has been” empire. The Shining City on the Hill, the hope of so many millions since July 4, 1776, no longer exists. What rises from the ashes is a country that few of us will recognize, like, or learn to accept submissively. After 236 years of existence, a new country emerges today, run by secular progressives who rejected our Constitution, what we stand for, and who we are as a nation. The Supreme Court will be forever altered after its last conservative members will be replaced by the liberal academics who call themselves “progressives.” The rule of law will be implemented by Executive Orders, making Congress irrelevant.
The welfare dependent Americans, unions, and illegal aliens have chosen for the rest of us the dark path of serfdom to big government and to socialist utopia. Who would have guessed that the very people who were complaining that the government is not extricating them from disaster or giving them the help they needed in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, would vote for the very politicians who turned their backs on needy Americans after the lights went dark when the political photo opportunities ended?
Who would have guessed that Americans were as ignorant and irresponsible as to choose fiscal destruction over fiscal sanity for their children and grandchildren, secularism and communism over faith, dependence over personal responsibility and self-reliance? Americans have been protesting for the last four years the dismal state of the economy and the direction of our country, the corruption of our politicians, and the loss of personal and economic freedom. Rallies in support of conservatism overwhelmed venues for Mitt Romney while rallies for our bumbling President became scarcer and scarcer. Yet, miraculously, at the ballot box, our President won all over the country.
We lost seats in the Senate. Americans chose liars and cheats to be their Senators and Representatives, rejecting those who protected the Constitution. The candidate from Massachusetts who claimed direct American Indian lineage to Pocahontas is now a Senator, having defeated Scott Brown. (Representative Allen West lost his seat by a narrow margin to the infamous Wasserman Schultz from Florida .) Americans chose high unemployment, reduction of our military, communist indoctrination of their children, and loss of personal freedoms unlike we have never seen before in this country.
I am saddened by the loss of millions and millions of American soldiers who have died to preserve freedom yet we lost it on November 6, 2012. Those buried in cemeteries around the world and at Arlington must be rolling in their graves today. We shamelessly allowed their sacrifice of blood and treasure to go in vain. We have no honor because we let down all the soldiers who fought in recent times and returned home limbless with lives shattered from physical and mental wounds of war.
I mourn today the loss of my adopted country. I have fought hard over the last four years to prevent its overt and accelerated destruction but the darker forces stronger than many of us have overcome concerted efforts by millions of Americans to maintain the Republic. Mediocrity, sloth, godlessness, dependence, cowardice, using the law selectively or ignoring it, and hopeless corruption will define the new country. Only God can save us now with his mercy and grace..."

This Is It!
Well, it's Nov. 6th, election day. Today is the day when we find out if we'll still be living in America for the next four years, or some wonderful utopia envisioned by Karl Marx. The so-called "polls", you know, those media-generated sideshows, are showing one of the closest races in our history, even on the last day. The only thing that tells me is that half the country is obviously and hopelessly brain-dead.
This morning, i heard one of Fox's talking-heads urging everyone to get out and vote. He said, "every vote counts". As i sat there drinking my coffee, i said to myself, if i were sitting there, my question to the talking head would be, "suppose every single person in America voted for Romney. Would that mean he's the POTUS"? At that point, i'm sure they would have gone right to one of their million commercials and ushered me out of the building...... Keep your fingers crossed kids...

Will We Save America?
Our great nation was founded by a collection of men who envisioned a new nation, one conceived in liberty, a nation willing to accept the huddled masses that arrive on our shores...legally. They fought an uphill battle for our liberty during the American Revolution, and won. They drafted two of the most important documents in modern history.
The Declaration Of Independence boldly states that inalienable individual liberty is our birthright, not a gift given to us by the Nanny State. The United States Constitution is the first founding document, in any nation, which shields sovereign individuals and their liberty by imposing non-negotiable limits on government. Because of their efforts, the nation the founders created became a major economic and military powerhouse.
Guess what? That all changed with the ascension of The Marxist Messiah. When Messiah Barry spouted his teleprompter scripted drivel about 'change', many otherwise intelligent individuals wrote it off as campaign rhetoric. That, as we all learned, was, at best, wishful thinking. If you pretend otherwise, it's the fast track to a suicidal depression. Four years later, the winds of political change have, once again, reached hurricane force. After the 2008 election cycle the howling winds reached into every corner of American life, every square inch of this land conceived in liberty. That storm has subsided, and America is still here, but it isn't the America the framers of our Constitution envisioned. It's not even the flawed America that punched a chad for a Dumbo-eared Marxist Muslim in 2008.
In 2008, the people fell for the Soros-scripted bullshit, condemning all of us, Obamunists and rational adults alike, to four years in neo-Marxist hell. Since then, we were doomed to reap what they sowed: an empty suit who thinks he's the Marxist Messiah. The winds of change meant saying 'Night Night' to your American dream of building a better life for you and your family. The winds of change meant saying 'Adios' to your standing as a first class citizen, while Third World invaders piss, moan, and take a dump on America's front lawn.
The winds of change meant there was a new Leader of The Pack: Messiah Barry and his brain-dead, mindlessly militant, O'Zombies. Who was on the losing end of this Faustian bargain? Every rational American adult who, foolishly, believes that their life, their liberty, their pursuit of happiness is none of the Nanny State's damn business.
By 2010, the initial shock had worn off. Shaking off the feeling that we just woke up in the middle of a Twilight Zone episode, rational adults - many of them in the TEA Party - made themselves heard by retaking the U.S. House of Representatives and robbing the Obamunists of their 'we can do what we want without you' majority in the U.S. Senate. It was a good start, but it was only a start. After the disastrous mid-term election, Messiah Barry switched tactics. Ignoring Congress, he started ruling by decree. He, became, in short, a scrawny Hugo Chavez with elephant sized ears...
We have only three days left to save our country. Are there enough real Americans left to do it? We'll see...

NYC Halloween Party
Ask yourself, "What would the fall out be, if the (R) or Conservatives had thrown a big Halloween Bash, just after the storm?"
.
Here's my question? Why no mention of how much $$$ they raised? Which charity will get the money? And the best question yet...why not skip the costumes, food, etc and donate the total amount of money that you ALL had earmarked for the party?

It was definitely a scary 48 hours for the inhabitants of
New York.
But now that Hurricane Sandy has moved away from the East
Coast, it's back to business for most New Yorkers, including Bette Midler. The veteran actress and singer continued her life as usual
and celebrated her yearly extravagant celebrity 'Hulaween' bash on Wednesdaynight in the storm-struck city.
Despite the fact that Lower Manhattan is still without
power, Bette managed to find a venue uptown which did have electricity: The
Waldorf Astoria hotel.
And as the annual bash is held in honour of her charity
Bette Midler's New York Restoration Project which tries to create more green
space in New York, it is no wonder that the Rose singer was so keen to carry on
with the party, especially as the funds raised with the bash could be used to
help restore the city after the storm.

An interesting idea, from Obama's Mother.
Lemme set this up.
A family member sent me the following link. It's a video titled, "Can You Guess Who I am...". It goes into describing this person who you can guess IF you know a little history. (I got it) But the thing had me questioning some of the 'facts' on who they want yoiu to THINK it is. Following that thought pattern, I started looking into Obama and then his mother.
Now I heard that she, and BHO Sr were avowed commies. Then I found this description and quote from her Doctoral Thesis,
.
.
.
Seriously?! If the government throws money to 'projects', the people who actually NEED the money get screwed, and the head honchos skim off money and just use it for their own good, probably to just get more money!? Hell I'm shocked to learn such a thing would happen!
.
Isn't that precisely why most of us are against millions and billions of dollars being spent on welfare? And we all know I'm a recipient, but Lord knows I'm at the very low end of the recipient scale. But here's my question, if that's how she felt, what's the answer? Should we attempt to create more markets so the artisans and trade people can sell more items and make more money? Or should we strip money from those at the top who have already made some decent money?
.
I'm pretty sure I know how Ann Dunham would answer that. She learned her politics from her parents and the universities. One of her friends said, "... they were liberals before they knew what liberals were". And the seed didn't fall far from the college campus liberal tree.

Anthropologist Michael Dove described the dissertation as "a classic, in-depth, on-the-ground anthropological study of a 1,200-year-old industry". According to Dove, Dunham's dissertation challenged popular perceptions regarding economically and politically marginalized groups, and countered the notions that the roots of poverty lie with the poor themselves and that cultural differences are responsible for the gap between less-developed countries and the industrialized West. According to Dove, Dunham:
found that the villagers she studied in Central Java had many of the same economic needs, beliefs and aspirations as the most capitalist of Westerners. Village craftsmen were "keenly interested in profits", she wrote, and entrepreneurship was "in plentiful supply in rural Indonesia", having been "part of the traditional culture" there for a millennium..
Based on these observations, Dr. Soetoro concluded that underdevelopment in these communities resulted from a scarcity of capital, the allocation of which was a matter of politics, not culture. Antipoverty programs that ignored this reality had the potential, perversely, of exacerbating inequality because they would only reinforce the power of elites. As she wrote in her dissertation, "many government programs inadvertently foster stratification by channeling resources through village officials", who then used the money to strengthen their own status further.
.
Seriously?! If the government throws money to 'projects', the people who actually NEED the money get screwed, and the head honchos skim off money and just use it for their own good, probably to just get more money!? Hell I'm shocked to learn such a thing would happen!
