So, I heard tonight, that March is National Women's History Month. Last month, it was Black history Month. In fact, most months are so kind of special or celebratory or recognition month. Some are designed to make people think, some are for fund raising, some are for politicians to get funding for their constituents.
But I looked, and guess what's missing> Guess what group is NOT represented in all these MONTHS of months? There is NO month for the people who do most of what gets done in America.
There is no Middle-Class White Guy Appreciation Month!
Well, why the hell not? Hey it's great Bill Gates built a huge company in America, but who does more of the work at MS, Gates, or white guys? Same goes for every other company in America. In fact the only time someone SAYS middle-class white guy(s) it's used as a negative statement.
I think we need a day or two where ALL the middle-class white guys stay home from work. A sort of 'white flu', along the lines of cops staying home being a 'blue flu'. It's just my opinion, trying to start a conversation.
