Two items on this one. The first is that some jerk weed teacher in Wisconsin took his 4th Grade Class to the State Capital, so they could learn to and help with the protests in the Rotunda. They marched them in a circle and had them sign "This land is your land...", by Woody Guthrie, along with the protesting teachers.

That ALONE is a problem. But when the kids told their parents, and the pictures of said kids hit social networks, it took the local school superintendent THREE WEEKS to make any statement! Now I guess, they're still 'investigating' the incident, although the teacher has been 'reprimanded'.

The teacher and the Sup. need to be working at The Gap ASAP as for my two cents!

A fourth-grade teacher in Wisconsin has been reprimanded after he allowed his students to participate in a political protest against Gov. Scott Walker on a field trip to the state Capitol building.

Video of the incident was aired by FOX6 in Milwaukee earlier this week. In it, students could be seen clapping while protesters with a group called the "solidarity singers" belted out a modified version of "This Land Is Your Land." The last verse includes the line, "Scott Walker will never push us out, this house was made for you and me."

According to FOX6, the Portage School District this week released a letter of reprimand which was put in the file of the teacher chaperoning the trip. The teacher said he was "embarrassed" by the incident but insisted he did nothing wrong, according to the report.

And oddly, when you go look for this, Google search, I find that ONLY Fox and Fox affiliates are even running the story.

I'm guessing the other networks / stations / affiliates were too busy trashing Herman Cain to come out and report on this?

Is Art Imitating Trash? Or is some Art just Trashy?

I'm a fan of (most) art. One of the honest to God highlights of my life was riding the elevator to the top of the Guggenheim Museum, and SLOWLY walking down that spiral, looking at the art.

I'm no art snob, I can find stuff I like ranging from caves in France to crazy 1800's Folk Art right up to modern paintings and junk sculpture. I love tromp l'oiel so much I'd like to have one in my living room that looks like a mountain scene or a Italian vineyard! Mrs Schteveo and I are getting tickets to the NC Art Museum to go see a traveling collection of Rembrandt's works.

But, given all that, some of the things that pass for"art" I don't see as art, not do I see how the place value. Find below, a example.

File this one under "O" for "Oops." A cleaner with the best intentions accidentally destroyed a piece of art worth over $1 million when she removed what she thought was a "stain" from the installation. Spoiler alert: It wasn't really a stain.

The piece of art, titled "When It Starts Dripping From The Ceilings," features a series of wooden planks and a (formerly) discolored plastic bowl. The artist, the late Martin Kippenberger, intended for viewers to understand that the bowl had been discolored by water running over the pieces of wood.

Unfortunately, the bowl isn't so discolored anymore. A spokesperson from the art museum in Dortmund, Germany, remarked that "it is now impossible to return it to its original state." The cleaner was apparently unaware that she was supposed to stay at least 20 centimeters away from the works of art.

Kippenberger died at the age of 43 in 1997, but he left behind a large collection of work. Roberta Smith of the New York Times said he was "widely regarded as one of the most talented German artists of his generation." Like many of the greats, his work has grown more valuable since his death. In 2005, a Kippenberger painting went for over $1 million.

Is There Nothing That Will Awaken The Sheep?

"Connecting America" With More Venture Socialism: 'By Howard Rich —

Lacking any clear statutory authority, the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) nonetheless voted last week to force American consumers to subsidize a massive expansion of rural broadband infrastructure.

"Broadband has gone from being a luxury to a necessity for full participation in our economy and society," FCC chairman Julius Genachowski said during a speech in early October. To stimulate this "necessary participation," the FCC's so-called "Connect America Fund" will spend $4.5 billion a year over the next six years siphoning money away from America's telephone subscribers. Government bureaucrats are understandably ecstatic — promising that this "historic" vote will lead to the creation of 500,000 new jobs. Consumer advocates know better.

"The Commission's actions will lead to higher prices at a time when the average American is watching every penny," said Gigi B. Sohn of Public Knowledge, a group that advocates for digital freedom. Sohn added that the Commission "has once again evaded the central problem" by moving forward with this new fund despite lacking authority over broadband issues.
"By declining to address this issue, the Commission is condemning the industry to more years of uncertainty, consumers and others will be powerless to complain about industry practices and the future of the network is left in limbo," Sohn said.

Of course the "Connect America Fund" is more than just another flagrant government shakedown of taxpayers and naked bureaucratic power grab. Like the "Green Jobs" scam that brought us the infamous Solyndra scandal, it's yet another example of government fundamentally usurping the private sector's role of allocating capital. In fact, the government's new "broadband scam" already has its own Solyndra scandal — a company called Open Range.
Right around the time Genachowski was making his "necessary participation" speech, it was revealed that Open Range filed for bankruptcy despite being approved for $267 million in loans from the U.S. Agriculture Department.

Ironically, it was a decision by the FCC to deny a special license to Open Range's business partner, Globalstar, that led to the company's collapse. Some have even speculated that the FCC deliberately denied this license because it was promoting a competing venture involving LightSquared, a company backed by a powerful Democratic fundraiser. Imagine that — one government bureaucracy works to jump start a specific company while another effectively shuts it down! No wonder government has such an abysmal record of picking winners and losers in the marketplace — a function it was never supposed to wrestle away from the private sector in to begin with. Open Range's loan was approved by the Bush administration — which is why Congressional Democrats are pushing to have its collapse investigated alongside Solyndra.


But what's needed is not a Washington hearing aimed at scoring political points — what's required is an immediate reversal of government's entire approach to economic development. For starters, the FCC could resist the urge to drain $27 billion out of our shaky economy over the next six years for the purpose of empowering broadband bureaucrats..."

And Now It Starts

As i predicted in a post here a few weeks ago, the so-called "peace-loving" protesters would eventually get around to all-out violence. And, that it would start out in Mexifornia, home to most of America's Marxists, Communists, Socialists, anarchists, and anti-American revolutionaries, is not at all surprising. Of course, the propaganda we're being fed by their leftist supporters in the MSM would have you believe, as always, that this is "Police instigated violence". Note how in every instance, the anarchists and the MSM only show the reaction of the Police, never the action of the anarchists that provoked that reaction. It's a very old tactic, but when that's all we're shown on TV, it leaves the desired (and intended) impression on the American sheeple.

The anarchists know that with winter weather getting closer and closer, especially here in the North East, and their antics losing steam, they must kick it up a notch to keep the headlines fresh. They'll do that by moving to the next logical step for them, violent confrontations with the police. Here in NYC, our limp-wristed ruler, His Majesty Bloomberg, has issued a "hands off " order to the NYPD. Ideologically, he supports the anarchists, even though he's one of the Gazillionaires they claim to be protesting. On the other hand, he's getting lots of heat from the elitist Leftists who live in Manhattan, who, while they support anything anti-American, would like it to be done in someone else's neighborhood.

I'm pretty sure of one thing. With the new NYPD being totally PC'ized and controlled by Leftist politicians, i truly doubt you will see them respond the way the Mexifornia cops are doing. Personally, i'll just sit here in Brooklyn, about 8 miles away, and watch the show. Joining me, while i watch over my car and other property, (should the cretins decide to expand their protest) are my three closets friends, Smith & Wesson & Colt...

The police department in Smithfield, N.C., has said it would no longer respond to all 911 calls and would stop pursuing some misdemeanor crimes if the town didn’t approve a measure to increase the department’s budget for gasoline, according to the Raleigh News & Observer.

Police Chief Michael Scott will ask the town council to allow him to reallocate some of his $30,000 office supply and equipment repair funds to compensate for the shortfall in the gas budget. Smithfield reportedly cut the fuel budget by 14 percent — or by about $10,000 — from previous fiscal year – according to the paper. Without an increase, the department runs out of gas by February 2012.

The Smithfield Police Department is expected to detail how the town’s budget cuts would affect street patrol later today. Scott said the department had already had to cut back on patrols and has even halved the number of patrol cars on the roads at times.

The town recently experienced a series of crimes – an armed robbery of a convenience store, a theft of tires and rims from an auto shop — that Scott said could have been prevented by heavier patrolling.

“Those things can all be directly related to patrol issues,” he said, according to the News & Observer. He also said that the department had been fielding complaints about the lowered police presence, and that some callers had even asked if they should buy guns to protect themselves.

Let me ask, isn't it odd that southern and southwest police chiefs and sheriffs are telling people to get guns and protect themselves, while at the same time northern and left coast officials are still trying to keep guns out of legal citizen hands?

Is the DNC slipping?

Are they a year early? Or do they find Herman Cain SO damned threatening to their plans that they want him to disappear BEFORE the primaries?

Amid his repeated denials that he harassed women at the National Restaurant Association in the late 1990s, Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain entertained the notion that the fire surrounding him might have been ignited by his rivals.

“This bull’s-eye on my back has gotten bigger,” the former businessman said at a luncheon at the National Press Club this afternoon. “We have no idea of the source of this witch hunt, which is what it is.”

Cain acknowledged twice today that sexual harassment charges were brought against him, but dismissed them as false and baseless.

“In all my over 40 years of business experience … I have never sexually harassed anyone,” Cain said. “While at the Restaurant Association, I was accused of sexual harassment – falsely accused, I might add.”

Cain said he allowed the association’s general counsel and human resources manager to look into the allegations, and that the investigation found no basis for the charges. But the head of the human resources department at the time, Mary Ose, told Politico that she was not aware of any complaints against Cain during that time.

The former chief executive of Godfather’s Pizza also said he was unaware of any reported settlement that gave the women money to leave the National Restaurant Association and not talk about the charges.

“If the Restaurant Association did a settlement, I wasn’t aware of it and I hope it wasn’t much because nothing happened,” Cain said in a Fox News interview this morning.

I think they're a year early on their October Surprise because he scares them to death, and here's why. If a black Republican EVER gets into the WH, with a Republican run Congress and the country runs right for a month, it will raise questions for the DNC's leaders for-ev-er!

I always wonder why no one reminds them that Lincoln was a Republican and since the Lib / Dems have had the majority of blacks voting for them, the AA community has suffered damned near as much as before integration.

If nothing else, there were AA families back then. That sure as hell isn't the case now.

WHY is it, that when Bill Clinton, John Edwards, Elliot Spitzer, etc (all Dems) have these kinds of accusations, or situations in their lives, the following language gets used,

"...it's a family matter not a media matter.", "...we're taking care of this privately.", "...it's all false and we need to move on with the county's business...".

This is like the Gingrich thing. If a Republican is even ACCUSED of "X", it's time for a lynching, a Democrat being CAUGHT is time for the media to ignore it and to help circle the wagons. The Trent Lott / Strom Thurmond thing is a good example also. It's OK for a Democrat to be IN the KKK, but a Rep can't say the world would be a different place if he'd become President!

There are many Americans who ask why we have 30-40 million illegals in this country. There are also many Americans who ask why the decades-old, multi-Trillion dollar "war" on drugs is such a dismal failure. And still others who ask, why our current Marxist govt. cares more about Mexico than it does the US. To some of us, the answers are not that difficult.

As for the so-called "war on drugs", like Viet Nam, it was a war meant to be fought, but not won. And that hasn't changed one bit.

ACORN’S back -- and it’s occupying Wall Street.

The reincarnation of the defunct New York ACORN chapter -- a group called "New York Communities for Change" -- is a big supporter of the protesters in Zuccotti Park. Jon Kest, the former director of New York ACORN, now heads up NYCC, which is located in ACORN’s old headquarters on Nevins Street in Brooklyn.

“It has been amazing watching Occupy Wall Street grow over the past two weeks,” Kest said in a Sept. 30 statement on NYCC’s Web site. ACORN disbanded in 2010 after the release of embarrassing videos showing the group’s workers coaching conservative activists who were posing as clients how to fraudulently obtain benefits and use them to open a brothel.

Fox News reported yesterday that NYCC has been paying “dozens” of homeless people $10 an hour to sit in Zuccotti Park. The report also said NYCC canvassers go door-to-door asking for money for other causes like PCB relief in schools -- with the money funneled back to OWS. Jonathan Westin, NYCC’s organizing director and a former ACORN organizer, denied the reports. “In no way are we paying people to protest at Occupy Wall Street,” Westin said, adding that no donations were solicited under false pretenses...

Are you as worried about THEM as I am?

A Look At What's Coming

I'm passing this along as i thought it was interesting...... it's by Neal Boortz...

"We've started collecting stories, documenting all of the different ways that the ObamaMedia can claim "racism." If you will recall, leading up to the 2008 election, it was racist to refer to Obama as "skinny" or "eloquent" or "a community organizer." Now that we already seem to be in campaign mode, the list is growing again. We've known this was coming since Obama's incompetence became apparent to all. It is absolutely impossible to campaign on the successes of Barack Obama .. because there aren't any. The entire campaign is going to be based on attacks against Obama's opponents rather than praise for his successful first 3 years.

The most obvious line of attack is to say that Obama's opponents don't want him reelected because he's black. The people who push this absurdity can't seem to explain why people who voted for him the first time have suddenly changed their minds. Was there something in the water? A racist microbe that changed otherwise normal people into racist maniacs? Hardly. It was the reality of Barack Obama that changed them. What they hoped would not be true turned out to be so. Obama was totally ill-prepared for the office, and was, in fact, far too much of a radical leftist to maintain the confidence of the thinking portion of the American public. So ... prepare yourselves to hear the "R" word time and time again during the campaign. Have pity on these poor Democrats ... they really have nothing else.

Let's look at some examples:
First there was the incident from a few weeks ago where the Associated Press was charged with committing an act of "inherent racism" for transcribing an Obama speech to the Congressional Black Caucus and "dropping the G's." Remember this? "Stop complainin'. Stop grumblin'. Stop cryin'." So for future reference, it is racist for you to drop the G's (as he did) when quoting Obama.

Then we have Libtard Bill Maher proclaiming that Republicans saying that there is no racism in America anymore is "the new racism." So now you can't claim there isn't any racism, because that is inherently racist.

Now we have two more to add to the list. Are you ready?
According to MSNBC's Ed Shultz, if you use the term "break" in reference to Obama, this is racist. Shultz was apparently discussing Herman Cain's potential running mates, and one of those is Senator Jim DeMint. Shultz says that DeMint is "the guy who used an old Southern, racist term when talking about defeating President Obama during the health care debate." Here is the offending statement from 2009: "If we're able to stop Obama on this, it will be his Waterloo. It will break him." So using the word "break" is racist when referring to Obama. Got it?

The last example we will add to the list … you are going to love this …
Pointing out that only 53% of Americans pay federal income taxes is racist. In a discussion on MSNBC, Melissa Harris Perry (a black female) commented on a video clip of Michele Bachmann pointing out that only 53% of Americans pay federal income taxes and that we all should contribute something. Melissa Harris Perry says, "I just think that's racism," and that this is just a codeword for the "2011 version of a welfare queen." She says, "What that is meant to imply is that there is a whole group that is dependent." She goes on to describe these dependent groups as "the 'illegal immigrants,' and these un-working, un-married, poor black women who are welfare queens and these criminal types …" So pointing out that only 53% of Americans pay federal income taxes is "racism."

Be prepared!

More News, Albeit Not Surprising

After talking with some good friends inside the NYPD's Intelligence Div., and digging deeper for more info, it turns out that my hunch as to what these anarchists are really about seems to be true.

I had a strong feeling, as many of you probably had, that with this many radical Leftists, anarchists, Marxists, and Communists, openly showing their colors down on Wall St., somewhere, somehow, George (the anti-Christ) Soros had to have his fingers, and his money, in this uprising. Well, it seems that i was right. The protesters are being funded and supported by some heavy-weight, radical Left groups, most of them linked directly to Soros, and indirectly to the Demoncrats and the Marxist-in-Chief himself. Among other things, that means they have the power of "our" govt. behind them, if not openly, then quietly behind the scenes for sure.

Advise: Check to see that you have enough ammo on hand!

Demand four: Begin a fast track process to bring the fossil fuel economy to an end while at the same bringing the alternative energy economy up to energy demand.

Demand five: One trillion dollars in ecological restoration planting forests, reestablishing wetlands and the natural flow of river systems and decommissioning of all of America's nuclear power plants.

Demand six: Open borders migration. anyone can travel anywhere to work and live.

Demand seven: Immediate across the board debt forgiveness "for all". Debt forgiveness of sovereign debt, commercial loans, home mortgages, home equity loans, credit card debt, student loans and personal loans now! "All debt" must be stricken from the books.

They are looking to create dependency on the government, take away freedom and blame all of their problems on others. Under the Occupy Wall Street demands, no one would ever have to work hard ever again. If they had their way everyone would just be able to take more from the government's endless supply of cash. The Coming Battle

The battle i speak of is not any of the dozen or so wars we're involved in. For us, it's a far more serious battle, one for the WH and control of the senate in 2012. And with each passing day, we're starting to get a look at the strategy that will be used by the Marxist-in-Chief, the Demoncrats, and the MSM, against whomever the Republicans decide on. It's also becoming clear the useful idiots down on Wall St. will become a major part of the Lefts strategy. Anarchists don't really need a cause, just a spark to get them started. It wouldn't surprise me one bit to learn these protests were a well planned and choreographed event from the start as a counter to the Tea Party, a group that has become mysteriously quiet. If they've lost their steam, we are done!

Personally, i don't see anything in their plans that i find surprising. In fact, much of it are basic Left-wing tactics such as, 1) always blame the other team for what you yourself say and do, and 2) stay as far away from truth and facts as possible. Yes, these are old, well-worn tactics the Left has used for decades, but they still work. Unfortunately, the weak and gutless Republicans still don't seem to have a defense against these obvious tricks.

A lot of us truly believe the 2012 elections may be the most important in our lifetimes. Not only is the future of our country on the line, but our very way of life which has been negatively affected by hundreds and hundreds of nanny state regulations. Many of us have seen the deep damage that's been done in just the last three years. What would another four do? Would the SCOTUS be the first causality of another four years of Marxist rule? Greenpeace launched a new Rainbow Warrior on Friday, a $33 million schooner that replaces its battered 50-year-old boat, which saw numerous encounters with whalers, seal hunters and illegal loggers.

The new schooner's first mission will likely be in the United States to campaign against the burning of coal for electricity. It will then head south to the Amazon to draw attention to rainforest destruction.

The 58-meter (190-foot) ship, with two A-frame masts soaring almost as high over deck, is equipped with a helicopter pad and rapid-action release system for its inflatable boats, which in the past have carried activists into confrontations at sea.

Greenpeace's flagships bear the name of the first ship that was sunk by French intelligence agents in a New Zealand harbor in 1985 for opposing nuclear testing. The second Rainbow Warrior was retired this year to become a hospital ship in Bangladesh. Its last mission was to conduct radiation tests off the Japanese coast following the Fukushima nuclear reactor disaster in March.

Greenpeace director Kumi Naidoo said the environmental movement is more engaged in talking to business and government leaders now than in earlier days, when it became known for its showdowns with the U.S. Coast Guard and the French navy protecting exclusion zones for nuclear testing.

While diplomacy is preferred, "we also recognize that time is running out for the planet, and Rainbow Warrior and all our activism will, if need be, celebrate the best traditions of civil disobedience and nonviolent direct action," Naidoo said in a shipboard interview.

Although the ship is expensive, Naidoo said "we will never be able to match the power of the oil, coal and gas companies." Greenpeace has an annual budget exceeding $250 million and has offices in about 40 countries.

At the ceremony, Naidoo called the schooner "the perfect ship with which to navigate the perfect storm" of ecological and economic crises, and vowed that it "will confront environmental criminals across the world."

Among their most recent actions, activists climbed an oil rig off the coast of Greenland to disrupt deepwater exploration in the sensitive Arctic. Naidoo and another protester were arrested in June, fined for trespassing and deported, but two months later the Greenland government met one of the group's demands and released Cairn Energy's oil spill plan for its Arctic drilling.

These people are so full of crap. And the majority of companies in the world don't have $250 million a year TAX FREE to play with.

Are We Seeing The End Of America?

Old Pat Buchanan, long-time Republican, Conservative war-horse, and occasional guest speaker on MSNBC's Joe (the progressive RINO) Scarborough's show, where old Pat is basically treated like some prop for the amusement of the Leftists there, has just written a book which basically says the America that we've grown up in is dying. At my age, when i look around at what's happened to my country, i don't need a book to tell me it's dying.

As a life-long conservative, i can't help but feel both sadness and great anger at what this country has become. I no longer have any faith in many things i was taught to respect, such as our political system, one that is based entirely on lies and corruption, our judicial system, where gods in black robes play with hundreds-of-millions of lives, and our megalomaniacal elected officials who, for the most part, couldn't care less about the people. These are the people we choose to represent us, but in fact, they rarely represent anything other than their own pockets, friends, and political ideology.

It seems to me that one of the most important concepts about our country to be killed-off was the beautiful first words in the Constitution, We The People. In reality, it should read, We The Sheep, We The Worker-Ants, We The Bill Payers, We The Fools. And, IMO, it's not the elected lying crooks who are to blame. It's We The Above...

The Travel Channel is running a commercial for their show called 'Mysteries at the Museum". This weeks episode is about the Stanford Prison Experiment back in the 1970's. As a trivia junky I've read about this before, maybe too in my one college level psychology class, or in an old Mad Magazine. WTF difference that makes I don't know, but I digress.

We've been talking about the WSJerks for a few days and suddenly, while the commercial was running, I sudden;y remembered something I read about the experiment and it seems to fit the protestors. One of the things the study showed was cognitive dissonance theory and how it affected the 'prisoners' and 'guards' at Stanford. But here comes the part I (partly) remembered.

Cognitive dissonance is a discomfort caused by holding conflicting ideas simultaneously. The theory of cognitive dissonance proposes that people have a motivational drive to reduce dissonance. They do this by changing their attitudes, beliefs, and actions. Dissonance is also reduced by justifying, blaming, and denying.

Now I ask you students of the world, does THAT sound like the Left in general and the WSJerks in particular or not? We can see by their clothes and by their erudite speech that they are NOT disenfranchised nor poor, the very thing they seek to change. They come from, by their own stories in the news, the upper crust, high dollar schools AND from our own Entertainment Elite!

Am I the only one?

Beside me has anyone noticed that these mass shooting don't happen in places with fewer gun laws? And they are all but non-existence in places with Concealed Carry?

A gunman opened fire Wednesday in a busy hair salon, killing eight people and critically wounding another while leaving bodies scattered throughout the business in a normally sedate Southern California beach community.

The gunman got into a car and drove away from Salon Meritage after opening fire about 1:30 p.m. He was stopped by officers about a half-mile (kilometer) away and surrendered without incident while saying he had multiple weapons with him, police Sgt. Steve Bowles said.

His name and those of the victims were not immediately released.

Police were struggling to determine what prompted the shootings.

"There may be something to the motive as to a relationship with somebody in the salon, that is our assumption," Bowles said.

Glenn Zachman, who owns a video news-gathering service, said he arrived at the scene of the arrest shortly after police and saw they had placed plastic bags over the man's hands to preserve possible gunshot residue.

He also saw a bulletproof vest on the back of a patrol car but didn't know if the man, dressed in a button-down shirt and pants, had been wearing it.

The suspect was cooperative when officers, working from a description of the shooter, stopped him near the salon, Bowles added.

I have said before to people who tried to bark at me about my pistol, that I absolutely WOULD protect myself, and thereby every other person in harms way. I've actually had people say I'd just run!

These people have not seen me run obviously, I'm sure of it. (picture a penguin, a very LARGE penguin, wearing tie dye, and waddling as FAST as he can) (but with a cane!) Speaking on his radio program with Professor Karen Hunter — the same person who accused the Associated Press of racism for dropping the g’s in its reporting of a President Barack Obama speech — Sharpton essentially accused Cain of forgetting his roots when it comes to his politics.

“How could anyone in their right mind — they grew up in the south and saw what they saw — and act like everyone that is unemployed and that is not rich did it to themselves?” Sharpton said. “So I would assume he is either socially ignorant or playing games to get votes, that he couldn’t possibly have grown up and come to that conclusion unless he was one or the other.”

As I watched TV this morning, I saw the Occupy Wall Street coverage. I'm wondering if they are as crazy as I first thought.

Most of their concerns seem to be about like ours.

My fear is that some moderate Dem or worse still some moderate Republican (Romney) will wind up in the WH.

So, is this some 15 year old kid sitting in China, Russia, Nigeria, Somalia, or N. Korea, who decides to hit a few keys on his laptop, hack into our "ultra top secret" military system, and reroute some Predator drones from their assigned targets? And if that turns out to be the case, can he send them to, say, NYC, (preferably Wall St.) Chicago, or the nearest US military base?

Computers have been the greatest asset to mankind since the wheel, and perhaps even more important than that. But, as we all know, they can sometimes be your worst nightmare. What makes this story really scary is not simply the potential for the catastrophic damage that could be caused, but the fact they they just don't know what it is...

License To Kill?

No, this is not about James Bond. Well, not really. We've all heard the news about Anwar al-Awlaki, the American-born traitor, Al-Q terrorist, and killer of American warriors, who recently had occasion to meet one of our Predator drones. By all reports, the meeting was loud and quite messy, but not for the Predator. Now, we're starting to hear whining from the bleeding-hearts of the Left which is to be expected. But this time, the whining is also coming from the Right! In fact, Ron Paul said it was, "the murder of an American citizen"! WTF!! As i've said, i like Ron Paul, and i do agree with a lot of things he says, but i will also admit that he can be a bit goofy at times, and IMO, this is obviously one of those times.

Now, is this an attempt to make the Marxist-in-Chief look bad, seeing how the order came from him, or does Paul (so far, i haven't heard any others on the Right say this) really believe we don't have the right to target an enemy combatant, in the field, and actually engaged in acts of war against the US, simply because he was born in the US?

Personally, if i were programming those Predators, i would simply input a destroy command for anybody with a beard and a towel on his head. But that's just me...

I will admit to getting a great deal, I will admit to buying almost as much equity as I spent for the property and I will admit that without this program, I wouldn't have been able to buy a house.

When we filed our 2010 Federal Taxes, we took the New Home Buyer / Obama Bucks deduction. This was a FEDERAL PROGRAM, administered by a FEDERAL AGENCY, set up to encourage people to buy a house and get the economy rolling.

I got a letter from the IRS that said they wanted PROOF that we had bought the house.
.
(for those not in the know, when you file your taxes you have to include proof of all deductions. I did include my Mortgage Statement in my filing, which showed HOW MUCH we borrowed and HOW MUCH we paid for the house plus all the other crap you pay for when you get a mortgage)

The IRS wants proof of how much we paid for the house, and they want proof from the SELLER of how much we paid for the house. HUH?!
.
The United States Government wants me to prove to the United States Government that I actually bought a house from United States Government!!??? And how much money is involved? In total we are wrestling over, from the top of what they owe me, to the bottom of what they say I owe them is LESS than, $6000.

Emails disclose planned 2nd Solyndra loan

Hard-up American taxpayers would have been shouldering more loans to bankrupt clean energy firm Solyndra had a second loan pushed through. Emails released Wednesday disclosed that the Energy Department was mulling another loan to Solyndra worth $490 million last year.

The second loan guarantee to the solar panel manufacturer was said to be considered by the department despite Solyndra’s auditors warning that the energy firm was on the verge of financial collapse.

The initial Solyndra loan was $528 million. The loan is under scrutiny by House Republicans who have expanded their investigation by asking the White House for documents related to the Solyndra loan all the way back to the inauguration of the company attended by President Barack Obama.

House Democrats released on Tuesday an email exchange on May 24, 2010, between officials of the Office of Management and Budget that suggested a second loan for Solyndra. The next day, Obama visited the Solyndra factory even as concern was growing over the company’s financial problems.

So our illustrious government was prepared to give almost a BILLION Dollars, with a "B", billion, that's 1000, million dollars to a company that was about to go belly up before the first loan and DID before the second one!
