Every year, there are people 'elected' to be Mother of, or Father of, the Year. I remember this stuff from when I was younger. It used to be some mother of 5, who volunteered at the Elementary School, and her dying grandmother lived in their home, who was mother of the Year.
Father of the Year was a guy who had 3 sons, two daughters, worked full time, ran the local Little League and who was weeks away from finishing his G.I. Bill funded degree in something that would make the lives of ORPHANS BETTER!!!!!!
[and yes, I am GD shouting, because you ain't gonna believe WHO is Father of the Year for 2013!!!!]
The 2013, Father of the Year, is William. Jefferson. Clinton.

I got this from my Septic Tank guy. He's a Civil Engineer, who owns a septic tank business, so he's my kinda guy. A man who is obviously very smart, but who still knows hard work. Read on.
The most eye-opening civics lesson I ever had was while teaching third grade in 2008.
The presidential election was heating up and some of the children showed an interest.
I decided we would have an election for a Class President.
We would choose our nominees. They would make a campaign speech and the class would vote. To simplify the process, candidates were nominated by other class members.
We discussed what kinds of characteristics these students should have.
We received many nominations and from those, Jamie and Olivia were picked to run for the top spot.
The class had done a great job in their selections. Both candidates were good kids.
I thought Jamie might have an advantage because he had lots of parental support.
I had never even seen Olivia's mother.
The day arrived when they were to make their speeches.
Jamie went first.
He had specific ideas about how to make our class a better place. They were well thought out, and would benefit everyone in the class. He ended by promising to do his very best.
Everyone applauded and he sat down. Now it was Olivia's turn to speak.
Her speech was concise. She said, "If you will vote for me, I will give you ice cream." She then sat down.
The class went wild. "Yes! Yes! We want ice cream."
Surely she would say more, but she did not have to.
A discussion followed. How did she plan to pay for the ice cream? Would her parents buy it or would the class pay for it...She didn't know, and the class really didn't care. She simply reassured them they would receive ice cream, and lots of it. They took her at her word. All they were thinking about was ice cream.
Jamie was forgotten, and Olivia won by a landslide. Two months have passed since the election, and the class has yet to eat ice cream. Her classmates ask Olivia when they will have ice cream, and she tells them she is working very hard on getting it for them, but there are lots of obstacles slowing her down. She reassures them they will get it, and they again take her at her word.
Every time Barack Obama opened his mouth, he offered ice cream and 51.4 % of the people reacted like nine year olds. They wanted ice cream. The other 48.6% percent know they're going to have to feed the cow and clean up the mess.

It don't know if it's true or if it's made up, but I can't top THAT thing if I live to be 200 years old!.

I Hate To Say I Told You So, But,...
Here’s something for all those fools who actually believe our political system is legitimate. It may also explain how Obummer was able to tell Russia’s Puten what he was going to do “when” he was reelected, not “if”. That was months (before) the election.
Sometimes you just cannot argue with the numbers. If these numbers are correct and true, the USA has bigger problems on their hands other than who was elected President.

* In 59 voting districts in the Philadelphia region, Obama received 100% of the votes with not even a single vote recorded for Romney. (a mathematical and statistical impossibility).
* In 21 districts in Wood County Ohio, Obama received 100% of the votes where GOP inspectors were illegally removed from their polling locations – and not one single vote was recorded for Romney. (another statistical impossibility).

* In St. Lucie County, FL, there were 175,574 registered eligible voters but 247,713 votes were cast.
* The National SEAL Museum , a polling location in St. Lucie County, FL had a 158% voter turnout.
* Palm Beach County , FL had a 141% voter turnout.
* In Ohio County , Obama won by 108% of the total number of eligible voters.

Here We Go Again
As we all know, the Left loves to use props to further it's political agenda. Those props usually include women, gays, blacks, and illegals. Now, with the belief they may finally have a chance to disarm America, they're also using one of their favorite tools, emotions.
They started with James Brady, an assistant of President Reagan, and who was also wounded the day Reagan was shot. Every time the Left wanted to attack the 2nd Amendment, they would wheel Brady out onto some stage all crumpled up in his wheelchair. They also used a twisted and wheel-chair bound Christopher Reeves, a young liberal actor who played Superman. Reeves wasn't shot, but was seriously injured falling off a horse. But hey, emotions are emotions.
Now, they're using the mother of one of the murdered children from the Sandy Hook school shooting. And, with NYC's Queen Bloomberg running the Lefts assault, you can bet more of those poor parents will be conned into making anti-gun commercials. Again, play on the emotions and hysteria, both of which are being kept alive by the MSM.
Last week, when it was announced the Marxist-in-Chief had tapped Bloomberg, the most radical anti-gun zealot in the country, as an "advisor" for his anti-gun agenda, i said that all gun owners had better watch out. While Joe Biden was named to be "in charge" of this effort, you can bet your life it's Queen Bloomberg who will actually be calling the shots. And, he plays dirty! Gun enthusiasts had better prepare for all-out war...

I'm 90% sure there was a mass shooting.

A communication professor known for conspiracy theories has stirred controversary at Florida Atlantic University with claims that last month's Newtown, Conn., school shootings did not happen as reported — or may not have happened at all.
Moreover, James Tracy asserts in radio interviews and on his memoryholeblog.com. that trained "crisis actors" may have been employed by the Obama administration in an effort to shape public opinion in favor of the event's true purpose: gun control.
"As documents relating to the Sandy Hook shooting continue to be assessed and interpreted by independent researchers, there is a growing awareness that the media coverage of the massacre of 26 children and adults was intended primarily for public consumption to further larger political ends," writes Tracy, a tenured associate professor of media history at FAU and a former union leader.

Gun Appreciation Day
On January 19th, there will be a Gun Appreciation Day. I'm not sure yet what that meas HERE, but I'll carry a banner, waddle slowly in a March on the Capital, call my [idiot] elected worms and rattle their cages. I'll pretty much do WTF ever it takes to keep MY guns in MY hands.

Saying they're following the example of last year's Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day, a coalition of "gun rights" activists announced today that they're calling on like-minded Americans to visit gun stores, gun ranges and gun shows on Jan. 19 in a show of unity they're calling "Gun Appreciation Day."
It's no coincidence that the 19th is Saturday of the weekend when President Obama will be sworn into office for a second time. Organizers say the date was chosen "to send a message to Washington two days before Obama's second inauguration." They're worried about what they see as the "Obama administration's post-Sandy Hook assault on gun rights."
On Dec. 14, a gunman killed 20 first-graders and six educators at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., before taking his own life.
Among the groups that are on board with Gun Appreciation Day: the Second Amendment Foundation and the Conservative Action Fund, a so-called SuperPAC.
The 19th, by the way, is also a National Day of Service when, as the White House hopes, Americans will honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. "through a day of service and volunteering."

Who knew that Irony's last name was Carville!?
Over the years, we've seen those on the left Tweet, Twing, Twiddle, Text and E-Mail that some Right Side name in the news should die, get some horrible disease, their daughters should be raped, sons should be emasculated, blah, blah, blah.

And during or after these attacks, there is NEVER anyone who says the tweeters should cool it. Or that the e-mailers should stop and think, before attacking the attackees. OpEd pages or news stories will make note of the evildoers, but no one EVER says it should stop.

However, James Carville is upset at the people who questioned the legitimacy of Hillary Clinton's medical state during her recent concussion scare. It seems that Mr. Carville thinks those who 'questioned' if she'd actually been hurt as being 'inhuman'. He can't imagine why they think that way.
.
So questioning the concussion and near disappearance of the United States Secretary Of State, who was gone for the better part of two weeks, is inhumane.
But HOPING that George Herbert Walker Bush dies a horrible death, goes unanswered.
Calling Sarah Palin's teen daughter a slut, and her Down Syndrome child a retard, goes unanswered.
Tweeting that you hope Mitt Romney's wife get cancer again, goes unanswered.
I could go on, but you've seen and read the stupidity I'm talking about. And as I don't tweet, I'll just BLOG that I hope Carville and his ilk live long, healthy lives, die peacefully in their sleep and go to their just rewards. And only God knows what those rewards are.

Can America Survive?
Thanks, IMO, to the utter weakness and complete surrender by the republican party and the tea party, we have four more years of the Marxist-in-Chief. That means four more years to "transform" America even more than has been done in the last four years. Many believe transform actually means, to destroy everything America has been and was intended to be, and the people in this article are determined to do it. That's not just some "wild, right-wing conspiracy" as the MSM would have you believe. It's an actual plan implemented by serious people, as the enclosed article shows.
We are being pushed and dragged further and further to the far-left. Over 400 new "rules and regulations" have been introduced by this Marxist administration, many of them very radical, and that's just since the election. While the American sheeple are busy tweeting and doing all the other things intended to keep them anesthetized, America is being strangled. Slowly, quietly, and effectively, and all nicely packaged by the MSM.
I fear for the future of my country, and for the futures of my grandchildren. Those are not words i have ever spoken before, nor are they words i would have believed coming from someone else, prior to 2008 that is. Looking around, i also fear the American people, generally speaking, are getting weaker, more gullible, dumber, and more distracted from the reality of what's actually happening. Maybe they think there's some App they can download that will make everything better. That wouldn't surprise me. The country doesn't seem to mind the hard push to the far-left. If the country gets comfortable with this push over the next four years, (and the MSM will do everything in it's power to make sure it does) they will carry that with them to the next election. America will be done...

For New York City, it wasn't an unusual sight: a possibly mentally ill woman pacing and mumbling to herself on an elevated subway station platform.
The woman eventually took a seat on a bench Thursday night, witnesses later said. Then, without any warning or provocation, she sprang up and used both hands to shove a man into the path of an oncoming train.
As police sought on Friday to locate the unidentified woman, Mayor Michael Bloomberg urged residents to keep the second fatal subway shove in the city this month in perspective. The news of the horrific death of 46-year-old Sunando Sen, who was from India and lived in Queens, came as the mayor touted drops in the city's annual homicide and shooting totals.
"It's a very tragic case, but what we want to focus on today is the overall safety in New York," Bloomberg told reporters following a police academy graduation.

Last week, a liberal reporter for some obscure, and very liberal NY newspaper, thought they would get some attention (because of the CT. shootings) by "making public the names and home addresses of people who are legally licensed to carry a concealed handgun"! They even included a detailed map showing where these people live! So far, they've only exposed people living in two major NYS counties. Can you say, OUTRAGEOUS!
Now for the justice part. A blogger, yes, a blogger, was so offended by this invasion of privacy that he did some research, then made public the "names, home phone numbers, and home addresses of all the reporters who work at this paper"! I'll bet there's a lot of liberal reporters hiding under their beds now. BTW, it was reported that the original reporter of this story is licensed in NYS to carry a concealed .357 Magnum pistol. How's that for liberal hypocrisy...

Spike Lee vs Jamie Foxx, who has da mos' piss!
When "Django Unchained" came out recently there was a bunch of publicity, most aimed at the 1 N-Word per 90 second ratio the movie racked up. Quentin Tarantino, the producer, says it's not about bad language, it's about a 'period piece'. [money, I'm sure, never entered his mind...]
After the movie controversy started, Jamie Foxx who is the co-lead in the movie, stood by the movie and told the entertainment media that his whole life is about race.
Now Spike Lee has come out in a boycott of the movie.
He's told the media he won't see it because slavery wasn't a spaghetti western. Personally it's not about any of this, it's about money, money, money!! And any of these Hollyweird fauxnees who say differently are just big fat liars. And in case you want to know about the money, Foxx is worth approximately $85M, Lee is worth $40M. I'm wondering, given those amounts, just how much they donate to charities.

To me this is a "no duh" problem. I mentioned it a few days ago. Those "gun free" zones should have signs posted that say "no resistance here, mass mayhem welcome" or "don't bring your gun here or our staff will use theirs" I like the second one best. Or, in this day of inuendo, "you show us yours, we'll show you ours, then use them." It appears to me that the school district described in the article already figured out how to solve the problem.

FORWARD! That's the new mantra of the Left. It was, and continues to be, the official slogan and symbol for the Marxist-in-Chief. It's even the new slogan/logo of MSNBC. What is odd is that the American sheeple still don't get it. They're actually being told what Obummer and his administration are!

A Great Loss
No, this is not about the unspeakable loss of young innocent lives in CT., nor is it about the loss of our 2nd Amendment rights that is coming. This is about the loss of a truly great man, a man that was so feared by the Left that they mounted one of the most ferocious attacks against him that anyone can remember.
I'm talking about Judge Robert Bork who died yesterday at the age of 85. Unfortunately, most people today wouldn't even know his name. Yet back then, the mere mention of his name made Leftists tremble. Why? Because aside from being the nation's leading, and brightest, Constitutional scholar, he was a strong believer in that Constitution. Not the manipulated "living " version that Leftists prefer, but of what the Founding Fathers intended.
In 1987, Judge Bork was nominated for the SCOTUS by President Reagan who had a great respect and admiration for him. The Left went wild! Ironically, they were lead by Ted (the lady killer) Kennedy, who claimed the judge, because of his Conservative views, would be dangerous to America's women! (as if Teddy and his family weren't )
Conservatives lost a great man yesterday, and i'll bet there's hardly anyone who will even remember him. Certainly not the MSM. That, IMO, is one of the reasons we, as a nation, are heading into oblivion...

I'm Just Sayin...
Today, most of the nation is in mourning because of the unspeakable tragedy that took place in Sandy Hook, CT., where 27 innocent people were assassinated, 20 of them young children. Things like this are not easily explained, even for someone who spent his last eleven years with the NYPD as a Homicide Investigator. In this case, we are either looking at insanity, or pure evil. Our society is filled with examples of both. Personally, his motive really doesn't matter to me. I'm one who truly believes that anyone convicted of a violent crime against a child, including and especially a crime of a sexual nature, should be summarily executed. We can discuss their motives after they're dead.
I said that today, "most" of the nation is mourning. Unfortunately, but not at all surprising, there are those who would use this tragedy to further their own Leftist political agenda. As usual, the anti-gun nuts are starting to crawl out of the woodwork. They never miss an opportunity to call for banning guns. And make no mistake, when they say "a ban on assault weapons", what they mean is a "total ban on all guns"! I'm still waiting for one of them to explain, if "assault weapons" are banned, which weapons does that leave? Non-assault weapons? Also, should we ban cars so the next psycho won't be able to get to his targets? The one thing we know for sure is, facts and logic and rational thought will not stop the anti-gun zealots.
Most of us here are gun owners and shooters, and we know what to expect from the Left in the coming weeks and months. I truly doubt the Marxist-in-Chief will pass-up this opportunity to feed his Leftist base. Besides, total gun control is something he has always wanted. Now, IMO, using this tragedy, he'll go for it and at the same time, make himself look good to the general public. It's a win-win for him. I believe the 2nd Amendment is about to be attacked. Again.
I truly hope God has warmly taken their young souls into his open arms...

“That there should be this lingering infestation of really corrupt people who sit trying to dismantle the wishes of the people, the mandate that has been given to Barack Obama, and I don’t know what more they want,” he said. “The only thing left for Barack Obama to do is to work like a third world dictator and just put all these guys in jail.”
Belafonte went on to claim that Republicans are "violating the American desire" by working to keep government limited, taxes low and the country solvent. Sharpton was clearly amused by the suggestion – and could be heard laughing in the background.

While Fudge could not point to any single word that was racist, she insisted that every single word used to criticize Rice was a racist code word.
