Why would anyone think that the American stimulus money was meant for Americans?

"They fault Congress for failing to require that employers certify legal immigration status of workers before hiring by using a Department of Homeland Security program called E-Verify. The program allows employers to check the validity of Social Security numbers provided by new hires. It is available to employers on a voluntary basis."

My daughter had her social security number hijacked by one of these illegal jerks. She found out when she moved into an apartment and called to hook up utilities. You'd think the IRS would figure it out when the employer paid taxes on the guy but apparently they don't have time. How much trouble would it be for an employer to check E-Verify first? Or maybe they don't want to know.

even cops can't ask for or share the info. Why are employers always responsible for everyone's lives from soup to nuts? It's not lkike ICE will do anything anyway.

The last 3 REAL jobs I had, I had to fill out an I-9 Form. Why has that stopped? Either the employers are getting REALLY good fake ID's from these clowns. Or the Feds aren't checking the system to see IF the companies have the forms and ID's.

Or both.

The E-Verify program, which ICE says has been 98% effective, has been renewed in the new budget. Oh, did i forget to mention that, thanks to those great Americans Reid and Pelosi, a last minute change was made. That change says, any construction company getting govt. contracts "will not use" E-Verify. Obviously, the congressional commies realize 85% of the people in construction are illegals.

I don't hire them unless they can speak English well. Including my yard guy.

Screw e-verimyass. Give me English spoken well, and no dingle-balls hanging from the sun visors in their cars - and they're legal 98% of the time.
