The Anesthetic Known As Voting

This is an article for all those who actually believe in our political system...

WASHINGTON, DC – Sources confirmed today that hundreds of thousands of military absentee ballots were delivered hours after the deadline for them to be counted, with preliminary counts showing that they would have overturned the vote in several states and brought a victory for Governor Mitt Romney.

Military Absentee BallotsOfficials say the ballots were delivered late due to problems within the military mail system. Tracking invoices show the ballots sat in a warehouse for a month, then they were accidentally labeled as ammunition and shipped to Afghanistan. At Camp Dwyer, Marine Sergeant John Davis signed for them and was surprised at the contents.

"I told Gunny we got a bunch of ballots instead of ammo," Davis told investigators earlier today. "He told me to file a report of improper delivery and that the chain of command would take care of it. We didn't hear anything for three weeks. While we were waiting we came under fire so we dumped a bunch of them in the Hescoes. We didn't dig those ones back out." After military officials realized the initial error, the ballots were then sent back to the U.S. but suffered a series of setbacks.

Twelve boxes of ballots were dropped overboard during delivery to the USS Kearsarge (LHD-3) in the Persian Gulf, then while the ship sailed to Bahrain, postal clerks allegedly pocketed whatever ballots they wanted. The remaining absentee ballots were loaded onto a C-130, but the flight was delayed until November 1st so the crew could get tax free pay for the month. Once the ballots arrived stateside they were promptly mailed to each state's counting facility, reaching their final destination on November 7th...

I'd say screwing with the military too long, too often, or too hard is a bad move. They might have most of the 'power' in D.C., but those military Generals and Admirals at the Pentagon, have ALL the weapons.

I'm not surprised at this. The story started coming out a week before the election when half of the ballots burned up in only the 2nd plane crash this year over there. Coincidence? I'd bet not.

And now, the "bending-over and spreading of the cheeks" starts. Apparently, the republicans have no problem giving away what little is left of this country...

WASHINGTON — Arizona Sen. John McCain yesterday joined the growing chorus of prominent Republicans backing comprehensive immigration reform, which usually includes a path to citizenship for illegals.

McCain tweeted: “I agree with the calls for comprehensive immigration reform.”

He hasn’t been a vocal supporter since President George W. Bush pushed it, only to be blocked by Republicans.

House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) also said it’s “time to get this done.”

President Obama’s capturing 71 percent of the Latino vote helped persuade Republicans to rethink their stance.

As has become typical for Florida's leftist Democrats, especially Debbie Wasserman Schultz, their attempt to steal the congressional election may have just been defeated.

I hate to say it, but this one has way too much to be real. the clincher was toward the end when it talked about an aircraft being delayed so the crew could get tax free pay for the month.

One of the first things the Obamessiah did was have the law changed so that a service member only gets tax free pay and combat pay for the number of days they are in theater each month instead of for the entire month.

Two: ammunition is not stored in a warehouse with anything else. Also, ammunition is stored in wooden crates, not cardboard boxes.

sadly, even if there were hundreds of thousands of votes cast via absentee, there are only a few states where 100,000 votes would have made a difference, and those states are not known for contributing manpower to our military.
