Pick me, PICK ME!!

In fact, I do remember the Twist, AND even the Peppermint Twist. I remember Twist Contests, and the whole Twist Phenomenon. As I recall, the Twist brought Hula Hoops out of garages and basements all over America.

Here's one more tid bit, Spider,do you remember that Chubby Checker reported loosing 20 lbs over a few months, from doing the Twist in his shows? Here's why I remember that. When my cousins and my mother heard that, they started doing the Twist for a few minutes, everyday, 3 or 4 times per day.

For my pal Steve...

Three men are sitting stiffly side by side on a long commercial flight. After they're airborne and the plane has leveled off, the man in the window seat abruptly says, distinctly and confidently, in a low voice, "Admiral, United States Navy, retired. Married, two sons, both surgeons." After a few minutes the man in the aisle seat states through a tight lipped smile, "Admiral, United States Navy, retired. Married, two sons, both judges."

After some thought, the fellow in the center seat decides to introduce himself. With a twinkle in his eye he proclaims: "Master Chief Petty Officer, United States Navy, retired. Never married, two sons, both Admirals."

Old Salt

A crusty old battleship admiral died and found himself standing before Saint Peter at the pearly gates. Peter welcomed him warmly, "Come right in, Admiral! You've served your country well and you may enter Heaven!"

The admiral looked thru the gates and stepped up to Saint Peter, "Just one thing, sonny. I hope there's no Chiefs here. They are the rudest, most obnoxious variety of human ever, and if there are any of them here, I'm not going in; I'd rather go to the other place."

"Don't worry, admiral," said Saint Peter. "No Chief has ever made it into Heaven – you'll find none of 'em here."

So, the admiral goes on into Heaven. Moments later, he comes upon an amazing sight. It is a swaggering figure in khakis, garrison cap cocked slightly on his head, a mostly empty bottle of Jack Daniels in one hand, and a beautiful woman on either arm.

Incensed, the admiral rushes back to Saint Peter and gets in his face. "Hey! You said there were no Chiefs here! So what the hell is THAT?"

"Don't worry, admiral," says Saint Peter gently. "That's God. He just THINKS he's a Chief."

SIX gun companies recently announced they willnot do business with any state or government entity or their officers if they have restrictive gun laws. NOW, I PERSONALLY WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ANY GUN OR AMMO DEALER IF THEY ARE NOT BOYCOTTING SALES TO RESTRICTIVE GOVERNMENT ENTITIES.

Poots,
I'm wit you!!! I think the list WILL grow. It obvious with the Sheriffs Assoc. talking to each other about telling the feds to bugger off. AND several states telling the feds they won't e allowed to enforce "X" laws.

That's great!!

I just thought of this, but let me see what you guys and occasion ladies think. Here's the setup...

First, let's suppose threat several states pass these anti-fed enforcement rules.

Second,, rather than the feds just marching in, they'll go to court.

Third, let's say, the feds go to court, it goes ALL the way to SCOTUS, and they find FOR the STATES.

Here's the question, HOW much crap would that allow the states to shed? I think 99% of the shit that comes down AT us from D.C., would be gone. Obamacare is completely gone, as there's no state that wants it as it sits. But tons of shit, EPA stuff like CAFE Standards, gone, DEA stuff like pot laws, gone, it just seems this could TRULY backfire for the Obama WH / Liberal Left / socialists, in so far as re-establishing states rights and states powers.

Then again, I could be full of shit and this whole thing could be the lead up to the 2nd Revolution.

Here's the story:

Consequences

Six gun companies have announced plans to stop selling any of their products to any government agency in states that severely limit the rights of private gun ownership.

Disappointed with New York State lawmakers and other jurisdictions around the country who have passed strict gun control legislation, the companies—composed of firearm manufacturers, gunsmiths, and sporting goods retailers—have announced these policies in the past week.

Their various statements emphasize that such laws create a class of government employees with rights and and a class of citizens without rights. Thus, they refuse to aid the enforcement of such inequality.

The announcements read:

LaRue Tactical

Effective today, in an effort to see that no legal mistakes are made by LaRue Tactical and/or its employees, we will apply all current State and Local Laws (as applied to civilians) to state and local law enforcement / government agencies. In other words, LaRue Tactical will limit all sales to what law-abiding citizens residing in their districts can purchase or possess.

Olympic Arms

Due the passing of this legislation, Olympic Arms would like to announce that the State of New York, any Law Enforcement Departments, Law Enforcement Officers, First Responders within the State of New York, or any New York State government entity or employee of such an entity - will no longer be served as customers.

In short, Olympic Arms will no longer be doing business with the State of New York or any governmental entity or employee of such governmental entity within the State of New York - henceforth and until such legislation is repealed, and an apology made to the good people of the State of New York and the American people.

Extreme Firepower Inc, LLC

The Federal Government and several states have enacted gun control laws that restrict the public from owning and possessing certain types of firearms. Law-enforcement agencies are typically exempt from these restrictions. EFI, LLC does not recognize law-enforcement exemptions to local, state, and federal gun control laws. If a product that we manufacture is not legal for a private citizen to own in a jurisdiction, we will not sell that product to a law-enforcement agency in that jurisdiction.

Templar Custom

We will not sell arms to agents of the state of New York that hold themselves to be "more equal" than their citizens.

As long as the legislators of New York think they have the power to limit the rights of their citizens, in defiance of the Constitution, we at Templar will not sell them firearms to enforce their edicts.

Templar Custom is announcing that the State of New York, any Law Enforcement Departments, Law Enforcement Officers, First Responders within the State of New York, or any New York State government entity or employee will no longer be served as customers.

York Arms

Based on the recent legislation in New York, we are prohibited from selling rifles and receivers to residents of New York. We have chosen to extend that prohibition to all governmental agencies associated with or located within New York. As a result we have halted sales of rifles, short barreled rifles, short barreled shotguns, machine guns, and silencers to New York governmental agencies...

All we need would be Glock and S&W and state governments would be on their knees.

And don't tease me with any more revolution talk. I'm ready to start my own.
