I uh, this story is SOOOOooooo weird that I couldn't pass it up.
.
Oprah and the skincream made from foreskins
.
Oprah uses a $150-an-ounce skin cream that’s made with the foreskin of penises.
Canada’s Owensound Suntimes and the UK’s Daily Mail report
that Oprah Winfrey endorses a face cream made from baby foreskins — the
part that is excised when a human male is circumcised.
The billionaire talk show mogul has called SkinMedica’s creams her
“magic fountain of youth” and urged her devoted fans to try it – at $150
an ounce – the cost of SkinMedica’s TNS Essential Serum
Neonatal fibroblast is tissue grown from the cells of infant human
foreskins, i.e., a piece of human skin is used as a culture to grow
other skin or cells. Neonatal fibroblast is hailed by some researchers
as revolutionizing medical skin care for its use to help heal wounds in
new ways.
SkinMedica, a Southern California company, claims that the baby foreskin cells also make an unparalleled anti-aging cream.
The San Diego City Beat
reports that SkinMedica hasn’t harvested a foreskin in 20 years. The
company instead grows the cells it needs from a single foreskin sample.
SkinMedica founder Dr Richard Fitzpatrick told the newspaper,
“Initially, there was a misunderstanding and people thought we were
actually grinding up the foreskin. So, there was a lot of snickering and
laughing about people putting this foreskin product on their face.”
.
OK, I'll say it, IF 'foreskins' make things look or act younger, wouldn't the Viagra people be out of business? And the Cialis people?
.
And if rubbing foreskins on themselves makes women's skin look younger, some of them would have little baby heads on their shoulders, and they'd never reach menopause given the foreskins that they've...uh...encountered?
.
This really just sounds like somebody making a fast buck off stupidity.

Progress?
After being harassed and ridiculed by my grand kids, i recently got rid of my old flip-phone, which i loved, and got one of those Droid X2 gadgets. It seems to do everything except pay for itself. It took me a week to figure out how to answer a call, and then only after being helped by my 12 year old granddaughter. Yes, technology. That can often be a scary word for some of us "old timers". (around here, i guess that means Steve and me)
My grand kids, like just about everyone else, have all the latest "i" pads, "i" phones, "i" books, and whatever other crap they make. I used to be able to email them, but that's now "old fashioned" They no longer read their email since their computers are now also "old fashioned". In fact, they don't even talk on their phones anymore. And just when i finally figured out how to send a text, even that's pretty much out. Now, everything is tweeting, twitting, twatting, or whatever they call it. Yep, that's progress. Or is it?
Have you noticed how young folks hardly talk face-to-face anymore? When is the last time you saw someone under 50 actually sit down and write a letter? Thanks to all that technology, you rarely see kids playing out in the streets anymore. I bought my grandson a bike 5 or 6 years ago and it's in the garage, hardly ever ridden. Fact is, when i go to visit, i never see kids playing outside! That's pretty weird. Well, to me anyway.
Are we forgetting how to be people? Have we forgotten how to look someone in the eye and talk with them? Is technology taking away our humanity, or am i just getting old? (no wise cracks please!)
The voice of reason in the gun debate
I think there should be discussions about guns. I think it should be open, honest and NOT done directly after a mass shooting. What I think shouldn't happen is that THIS GUY should never be on camera or in the MSM as anything other than an example of WHY we have firearms.
.
Jerome McCorry organized a protest against a gun show, claiming that the gun show made it too easy to buy guns. Why did that worry him? Perhaps because because the easy availability of guns might have made his career as a rapist more dangerous.
.
Outside of Bill Goodman’s Gun and Knife Show, people were protesting the sale of assault weapons. Those are the guns which the proposed bill would ban inside Hara Arena.
“We know that guns are being sold on the floor inside Hara Arena illegally” said Jerome McCorry. “No background checks no identification of any kind.”
And Jerome is an expert on what kind of guns can be used to protect someone, since he is the kind of guy that people buy guns to protect against.
But according to him, you don’t need an AK-47 or M16 to stop him from raping you. It’s just overkill. When Jerome bursts into your bedroom, you don’t need that much firepower, says the guy bursting into your bedroom.
.
The links for the story show that this 'expert' and social activist is a rapist, with a felony conviction that keeps him from owning any guns. One more item to prove that the MSM is a willing and active accomplice in the dissolution of our country.

It's Federal money, ALREADY in a 'bucket'!
Anyone see a problem with that statement?
This morning someone knocked on my front door, a very rare occurrence indeed. My grandson looked out the front window and said it was a guy in a blue truck. I looked and thought it was a local farmer from one road over, Mr John my local goat guy, but this truck was blue, not silver. As always, I got my pistol and went out to see what 'the guy' wanted.
He attempted to mount the steps, but I gave him a hand movement telling him to stand his ground. He then tried to hand me a brochure.
Says I, "I'm not donating to anything, I'm not buying anything, I'm good thanks, have a good day!"
This jack hole then proceeds to tell me, "...but this is a free program, for you to get a free inspection of your house, to see if you need any insulation or energy saving things for your home..."
"...but I already said I don't want anything, we're good..."
"...but you don't understand, it's Federal money, ALREADY in a 'bucket' waiting for people to take it!"
"I already told you, we're good here...", and I walked back inside.
And the longer I thought about it, the madder I got...GET. Can ANYONE in this day and age be THAT stupid, that foolish or that shortsighted? We're borrowing BILLIONS of dollars a day, and this pin headed pea brain actually goes out telling people the Feds have money in a bucket.
.
Jackass!
I'm a history buff, most likely because I am and always have been an information junky. I've been watching stuff today about the NASA Moon missions. And you can't look at that stuff and NOT see JFK, it simply can't be done. And, Conservative, registered Republican that I am, every time I hear some dick weed like 'the guy' telling me how I can get free stuff FROM the government, Jack Kennedy's words start banging around in my head.
"Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."
How and more importantly, WHY did we get away from that kind of thinking?

Skynet, here we come!!
Watson, the supercomputer famous for beating the world's best human "Jeopardy!" champions, is going to college.
IBM is announcing Wednesday that it will provide a Watson system to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the first time the computer is being sent to a university. Just like the flesh-and-blood students who will work on it, Watson is leaving home to sharpen its skills. Course work will include English and math.
"It's a big step for us," said Michael Henesey, IBM's vice president of business development. "We consider it absolutely strategic technology for IBM in the future. And we want to evolve it, of course, thoughtfully, but also in collaboration with the best and brightest in academia."
Watson is a cognitive system that can process massive amounts of data, including natural language. To beat "Jeopardy!" champions in 2011, it was fed the contents of encyclopedias, dictionaries, books, news dispatches and movie scripts. For its medical work, it takes in medical textbooks and journals.
After it takes in data, Watson can provide information like a "Jeopardy!" answer, a medical diagnosis or an estimate of financial risk.
IBM, which provided a grant to RPI to operate Watson for three years, sees it as a way to help it boost the computer's cognitive capabilities.
Artificial intelligence researchers at RPI want to do things like improve Watson's mathematical ability and help it quickly figure out the meaning of new or made-up words. They want to improve its ability to handle the torrent of images, videos and emails on the Web, the sort of unstructured information that is overwhelmingly fueling the data boom.

...and then the DoD will decide it's smart enough to run all the DoD computers, it runs wild, starts WWIV, and humanity as we know it ceases to exist. With all the BS going on in the world, this is what news organizations thought was important.

Friday Funnies On Tuesday
I went out last night and got really wasted. I woke up in the middle of the night next to some chick who was snoring and farting. Whew... I knew I made it home OK!
My wife's back on the warpath again. She was up for making a sex movie last night, and all I did was suggest we should hold auditions for her part
After both suffering from depression for a while, my wife and I were going to commit suicide yesterday. But strangely enough, once she killed herself, I started to feel a lot better. So I thought, "Fuck it, I'm good", and opened a beer…
I woke up this morning at 8, and could felt something was wrong. I got downstairs and found my wife face down on the kitchen floor, not breathing! I panicked. I didn't know what to do. Then I remembered, McDonald's serves breakfast until 10:30...
I bought my wife a hamster skin coat last week. Took her to the carnival last night, and it took me 3 hours to get her off the Ferris wheel...
The other night, my wife asked me how many women I'd slept with. I told her, "Only you. All the others kept me awake all night!"
My wife packed my bags, and as I walked out the front door, she screamed, "I wish you a slow and painful death, you bastard!" "Oh," I replied, "so now you want me to stay!"
A Catholic boy in confession says, "Bless me Father, I have sinned, I masturbated while thinking about my sister." "That's a disgrace," said the priest, "especially when you have two gorgeous brothers."

Now I get it!
I love chicken wings. I like them especially with a Buffalo Style Sauce. I even have a copy of what may be the original Anchor Bar Buffalo Chicken Wings recipe, but more to come on that below.
Usually, just before New Years and the Superbowl chicken wings go on sale. In fact I usually stock up this time of the year, but this year, nuttin' honey! I now only can't find chicken wings, they're definitely NOT on sale! I wonder if THIS is the reason?
.
It sounds like an unusual heist, but police say that two men were arrested for stealing thousands of dollars of chicken wings.
According to records obtained by FOX 5 News from the Gwinnett County Police Department, Dewayne Patterson, 35, of Lithonia, and Renaldo Jackson, 26, of Stone Mountain, stole $65,000 in frozen chickens from Nordic Cold Storage in the 4300 block of Pleasantdale Road in Doraville where the two were employed.
The theft reportedly happened just before noon on January 12. Police reports state that the men had rented a truck and backed it to the bay doors. Video obtained by investigators show the men using a forklift to load 10 pallets of Tyson frozen chicken wings.
.
I've read that only 10% to 15% of warehouse thefts are discovered. That would mean over a half million lbs of chicken wings gone on the lamb, no WONDER I can't find any!!! These may be the same guys who killed Kenny. THOSE BASTARDS!!
.
CHICKEN WINGS TO FRIGGIN' DIE FOR.
Almost 20 years ago I was looking online for a good buffalo Wing Recipe. I'd tried several recipes, but I really didn't have one that was great. In looking around I found the following story / recipe. And this is what I give out when people want 'my' recipe, and I always keep a copy of two around..

Steve
.
I've had wings all over the country and parts of C-eh-N-eh-D-eh, this is as close to, or dead on the Anchor Bar Wings as I've ever eaten. And it's head and shoulders above most of the wings I've eaten.
.
Here's hoping Georgia has a special life imprisonment rule for gross chicken wing thievery.

.
I am not sure who Larry Sahr is but, this recipe was found
while surfin’ the net in 199?, it is the best recipe for “Buffalo Wings” I’ve
ever tried. I thought I had lost this
and went looking for it again. The site
it came from had all the original recipes, except this one. There was a note saying the Anchor Bar people
had threatened to sue if they did not remove the wing recipe.
If this is NOT their recipe, WHY would they threaten to sue? And, I’ve eaten at the Anchor in Buffalo…THIS IS their
recipe
Steve
Larry Sahr's Buffalo Wings
Here is what I believe to
be the original recipe, as I learned it in 1982 from "Bubba", an
ancient, little black man who said he actually used to make the wings at Frank
and Teresa's Anchor Bar, Buffalo,
New York, where the original
Buffalo Wings were invented during 1964. Today, the Anchor Bar is said to serve
up in excess of 70,000 lbs. of these wings each month
The Sauce - makes enough
for about 30 wings
6 Tablespoons of FRANK'S
Louisiana Hot Sauce (also sold as DURKEE'S)
1/2 stick of margerine (not
butter !!)
1 Tablespoon of white
vinegar
1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon of
Cayenne pepper powder
1/4 teaspoon of red pepper
powder
1/8 teaspoon of garlic salt
A dash of black pepper
1/4 teaspoon of
Worcestershire sauce
1 to 2 teaspoons of Tabasco sauce
Mix all the ingredients in
a small sauce pan over low heat (and I do mean, low) until the margarine is
completely melted, then stir until everything is blended into the sauce. Then get the sauce off of the heat !! This last step is quite important, as any
additional heating tends to kill the flavor.
The Wings - use about 30
completely defrosted wings. Fry in
peanut oil (yes, I said peanut oil.
Other types of oil don't seem to develop quite the same exquisite flavor.) Heat the peanut oil to 375 degrees F., and
drop in half (15) of the wings, one at a time.
Doing it one at a time is important, as you don't want to lower the
temperature of the peanut oil too much by dumping in a whole load of cold wings
all at one time. Fry the wings for 12 to 15 minutes, then take them out. Place the other 15 wings in the deep fryer,
then drain the hot, cooked wings for a few minutes through a strainer,
preferably placed over the deep fryer.
If you don't use a strainer, the residual oil will congeal on the wings,
making a rather greasy mess.
When all the wings are
cooked, put the wings and the sauce in a container with a cover and shake the
container until the wings are thoroughly coated. Serve with celery and blue
cheese salad dressing.
I've had wings all over the country and parts of C-eh-N-eh-D-eh, this is as close to, or dead on the Anchor Bar Wings as I've ever eaten. And it's head and shoulders above most of the wings I've eaten.

Lying jerks in the MSM strike again!
Here's an article that compares gun deaths and gun laws in the U.S. vs other countries. I don't know if ANY of the items from other countries is true, because the stuff this idiot writes about US is so wrong.
.
After a tragedy like the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, the statistic is always trotted out. Compared to just about anywhere else with a stable, developed government — and many countries without even that — the more than 11,000 gun-related killings each year in the United States are simply off the charts.
To be sure, there are nations that are worse. But others see fewer gun homicide deaths in one year than the 27 people killed Dec. 14 in Newtown, Connecticut.
.
OK so we're off the charts, BUT there are places that are worse. Then WTF is the point of this article? .
.
"We have a very different way of looking at guns in Japan than people in the United States," said Tsutomu Uchida, who runs the Kanagawa Ohi Shooting Range, an Olympic-style training center for rifle enthusiasts. "In the U.S., people believe they have a right to own a gun. In Japan, we don't have that right. So our point of departure is completely different."
.
No, Tsutomu San, we are GUARANTEED a right to our guns by OUR Constitution, so we don't just 'believe' we have the right. Unlike your murdering, raping, Asia destroying asses in Nippon, we have been guaranteed our guns for over 200 years, AND it was the night of our country that kicked your asses and it was Douglas MacArthur who DENIED your country a right to arms in 1946, because you had just tried to take over HALF the World in the 1930s and 1940s!
.
Gun-rights advocates in the United States often cite Switzerland as an example of relatively liberal regulation going hand-in-hand with low gun crime.
The country's 8 million people own about 2.3 million firearms. But firearms were used in just 24 Swiss homicides in 2009, a rate of about 0.3 per 100,000 inhabitants. The U.S. rate that year was about 11 times higher.
Unlike in the United States, where guns are used in the majority of murders, in Switzerland only a quarter of murders involve firearms.
.
I pretty much quit reading here because we've just seen a statistic from the FBI that hammers and baseball bats are used more often than guns in murders in the U.S., so I quit! But the point of my posting isn't the [fake] comparison this writer was going for, it's showing that these Left Wing, Obama loving, 'journalists' simply can't even bother to get the numbers right when they are doing a simple US vs THEM story. They lie because it fits their narrative. That's OK, when SHTF, we'll protect them, by proxy if nothing else, while we're defending ourselves.

I applaud Tina Turner's decision!
First I'll admit I'm a Tina Turner fan. Even as an old broad she can still wail and dance her @$$ off! Over the years she's at various times been quiet or quite vocal about U.S. policies. She has been living in Switzerland for years, and now rarely comes into the country. And according to the LAT's, she's renouncing her U.S. Citizenship to become a Swiss Citizen.
Good for her!
Not that I'm a Swissophile, but she likes it better there than here, and she wants to vote, I expect, in a country where she lives. I would! But here's why I applaud. Instead of doing the typical Hollywood / music industry leftist [db] things that 99% of them do, she MOVED to a country that HAS policies she likes!
OMG, what a startling concept!
Tina Turner wants to become a Swiss citizen, and love has everything to do with it.
If you've been wondering what the iconic diva has been up to lately, she's been living in Kuesnacht, a Zurich suburb, since 1995.
A Swiss paper wrote Friday that the 73-year-old had been granted citizenship, according to the Associated Press. The Nutbush, Tenn.-born singer has passed a local civics test and interview.
"I'm very happy in Switzerland and I feel at home here.... I cannot imagine a better place to live," Turner said in Blick, a German newspaper.
The singer wanted to "clarify her situation," Turner's rep told the Swiss newspaper Zuerichsee-Zeitung.
"Tina Turner will therefore also give back her U.S. citizenship," her rep said.
But the decision still needs to be approved by the Swiss state, or canton of Zurich, and federal authorities before the red passport is awarded.
Turner first went to Switzerland with German record executive Erwin Bach, her longtime music manager, and has been living with him in a lake house called Chateau Algonquin, ABC News reports
Too bad more of our Leftist nuts don't follow Turner's lead. Or Johnny Depp who moved to France because he said he liked the people, climate and the GOVERNMENT better there. Too bad more people with money and transportable jobs don't follow Tina Turners example.
Good for her!

The Tree of Liberty Is Thirsty
" We respect the Office of The President of The United States of America. But make no mistake, as the duly-elected sheriffs of our respective counties, (we will) enforce the rights guaranteed to our citizens by the Constitution. No federal official will be permitted to descend upon our constituents and take from them what the Bill of Rights, in particular, Amendment II, has given them..."
How's that for a public official? Perhaps this country is not completely dead yet...

Gun "Control" ?
As many of you know, last week, NYS governor Cuomo, a full-blown socialist like his daddy, rushed to get a very tough gun law onto the books before anyone else in the nation. That NY already has the toughest gun laws in the nation mattered not. Why the rush? It's because little Andy has his sights locked on that big chair at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. In other words, it was a pure PR stunt. But stunts, like elections, can have serious consequences, especially if you don't read the fine print.
The enclosed article is from a republican member of the NYS legislature. Yes, a republican in NY, and a conservative to boot! Wow, that's like finding gas at $1.50 a gallon! He's letting us know what was actually in Cuomo's gun law, info he apparently wasn't supposed to let out. Here's some of the "fine print ".
1. Confiscation of “assault weapons”
2. Confiscation of ten round clips
3. Statewide database for ALL Guns
4. Continue to allow pistol permit holder’s information to be released to the public
5. Label semiautomatic shotguns with more than 5 rounds or pistol grips as “assault weapons”
6. Limit the number of rounds in a magazine to 5 and confiscation and forfeiture of banned magazines
7. Limit possession to no more than two (2) magazines
8. Limit purchase of guns to one gun per person per month
9. Require re-licensing of all pistol permit holders
10. Require renewal of all pistol permits every five years
11. State issued pistol permits
12. Micro-stamping of all guns in New York State
13. Require licensing of all gun ammo dealers
14. Mandatory locking of guns at home
15. Fee for licensing, registering weapons

A Very Interesting Question
Yes, a "very" interesting question coming from Sen. Rand Paul.
Could it be that the terrorist attack on our compound in Benghazi, and the slaughter of four Americans, was in fact another Fast and Furious-type operation that again went sideways?
And here are a few more:
Is that why we saw and heard so many lies coming from the Muslim-in-Chief's administration when they all blamed some video for the attack, a video that had yet to be made, even though they had real-time intelligence?
Is that why the MSM acted as if the attack had never happened?
Is that why Hitlary took-it-on-the-lam when the story hit the congressional fan?
Is that why the story, like Fast and Furious itself, has all-but disappeared?
If this is true, i wonder if even this would be enough to impeach the Marxist-in-Chief in the minds of the anesthetized sheeple. Of course this would never happen, not will all the minor Obamunists surrounding him. They are there to take the hits so he can remain "clean". Then again, they can always blame GWB...

Another Hollyweirdo has lost touch with reality, or has he?
Django Unchained and Titanic star Leonardo DiCaprio says he is
planning to take a significant break from filming and concentrate on his
environmental campaigning.
In an interview with Germany's mass circulation daily Bild, the 38-year-old American actor said: "I am a bit drained. I'm now going to take a long, long break. I've done three films in two years and I'm just worn out.''
"I would like to improve the world a bit. I will fly around the world doing good for the environment,'' added DiCaprio, in comments published in German.
.
I'm no environmental genius, but it would seem to me that flying around the world, to work FOR the environment, seems either shortsighted, or typically self-centered Hollywood BS.

Phriday Phunnies
I would like to upload an image from my computer, but I am no longer able to do that for some reason.
Therefore, use your imagination:
Therefore, use your imagination:
Which Way Would They Go?
My good buddy Schteveo and i have often kicked a question around here. That being, "in the event of a large-scale uprising by the people to take their country back, with whom would the military stand " ?
I've been around a while, and never in my life did/could i ever even think of asking such a question. But, these are very different days. This is no longer the America i grew-up in. The Marxist-in-Chief said he would "transform" America, and unfortunately, he has. Sadly, the American people had neither the will, brains, strength, or the interest, to demand that he tell them what "transform" actually meant. They were foolish enough to think that the "change" that was promised is always good and always for the better. Obviously, it is not.
Now, seeing how our children are being indoctrinated every day that they attend one of the government schools, mostly by "educators" who are, for the most part, agents of the far-left, can/is the same thing being done to our young and future warriors? Just what are the people who this nation will need to rely on for it's defense being taught? Have even hallowed places like West Point been taken over? Is America truly being destroyed from within? IMHO, the clear answer is, yes!

To Your Health?
So, you go to your doctor for an exam and he/she starts asking you questions about if you have any guns at home, what types and how many. Does that sound crazy, even illegal? Well, not any more. Not in today's Amerika.
Personally, i have been under the care of a dermatologist for several months. She's a Filipino doctor and a really nice person. One day, while waiting for her to come into the exam room, i noticed her laptop which was open and on. There on the screen was my file, showing all the usual stuff, name, DOB, etc. At the bottom of the screen i noticed a comment which read, "patient armed ". And while it's true that i never go anywhere in NYC without my trusty and always concealed Colt, it's pretty hard to keep it covered when you have to remove your shirt for an exam.
When she was finally done, i asked why that comment would be in my file. She stated she was "required " to note it. I asked, by whom was she required. She said, "by the law ". Of course i asked "what law", but she said she wasn't sure, and left the room. Now this was last month, (before) Obummer's gun-control show today, but (after) Obamacare when into effect. Apparently, it was sneaked into that law, along with a whole bunch of other stuff we have yet to find out about. This may explain why the cretins on msnbc and other Leftists are now saying this whole gun issue should be part of the national "health" conversation.
Health? What do guns and health have to do with each other? Actually, nothing. But, if the Left is able to make guns a health issue, it gives them "far more" power and authority to do what they want to do. As i've said, DO NOT underestimate the enemy!

Well, maybe fat chicks are more dangerous!
Male members of a jury are more likely to find a defendant guilty if the accused person is an overweight female.
According to a recent study by Yale University psychologists, male – and not female – jurors are also more inclined to believe that a fat woman is a repeat offender who had malicious intent.
The researchers gathered a group of 471 pretend peers of varying body sizes and described to them a case of check fraud. They also presented them with one of four images—either a large man, a lean man, a large woman, or a lean woman—and identified the person in the photograph as the defendant.
Participants rated the pretend-defendant’s guilt on a five-point scale. No fat bias was present when the female pretend peers evaluated the fake female defendants or when either men or women assessed the guilt of the men.
But when the male pretend peers pronounced judgment on the fake female defendants – physical bias weighed in on their decision.
The skinnier male jurors took the accusations to a step further.
The male pretend jurors were proven to be “significantly more likely” to find the obese female defendants—rather than the slim ones—guilty, but the slimmer male participants were the harshest, frequently labeling the fat women “repeat offenders” with “awareness” of their crimes.
.
It hasn't been that any years ago that I read that MALE jurors were more likely to find FEMALE defendants guilty. So basically white people pick on minorities and white guys pick on anybody who isn't a white guy.
Oh brother, do I have a BUNCH of questions on THIS 'study'!
First and foremost, WHEN oh when will anyone EVER do a study to see if NON-WHITE people have any skin color, weight, language, ass width, red car vs brown car, educated vs HS drop out, WTF ever bias!?
Why are these GD 'studies' always aimed at just HOW MUCH white people suck?! OK we suck, and every other color, race creed and non-heterosexual leaning is head and shoulders above us on every possible scale. Remember that the next time you stick a bucket, boot or hat in front of a WHITE person, because usually we don't suck when it comes to supporting or bailing out non-white people around the world who are invariably in need.

Here's hoping he stands by his word, and others follow.
Texas Republican Rep. Steve Stockman threatened Monday afternoon that
he would file articles of impeachment against President Barack Obama if
he institutes gun control measures with an executive order.
Stockman warned that such executive orders would be “unconstitutional” and “infringe on our constitutionally-protected right to keep and bear arms.”
“I will seek to thwart this action by any means necessary, including but not limited to eliminating funding for implementation, defunding the White House, and even filing articles of impeachment,” Stockman said in a statement.
At his press conference Monday, Obama floated the possibility of using executive action to enact policies aimed at reducing gun violence.
The freshman congressman, who served one term in Congress in the mid-1990s, further labeled the possibility “an existential threat to this nation” because, he said, the purpose of the Second Amendment is to allow the people to protect themselves from tyranny.
“Any proposal to abuse executive power and infringe upon gun rights must be repelled with the stiffest legislative force possible,” he added. “Under no circumstances whatsoever may the government take any action that disarms any peaceable person — much less without due process through an executive declaration without a vote of Congress or a ruling of a court.”
He concluded by claiming that an executive order would be not just “not just an attack on the Constitution,” but also an “attack on Americans.”
“If the president is allowed to suspend constitutional rights on his own personal whims, our free republic has effectively ceased to exist,” he said.

I hope he stands by this.
And I hope a bunch more join him.
I don't think it will go through, but the DEMOCRATS need to be shown and told that the American People have been pushed FAR ENOUGH! And the very idea that these pusillanimous dick weeds would try to go after the guns that are outlined in our Bill of Rights, is both atrocious and appalling. It's the last thing Dictators / Presidents for Life do just before they begin to round up 'dissidents' and have them sent to 're-education' camps.

Turned over our lives to electronics, have we?
I'm an avid reader of scifi and I have been for almost 50 years. Many of the stories from the beginning of science fiction until today have humanity turning their lives over to electronic devices. It invariably wound up with the power off, and the people rioting and running amok.
I'm currently the proud owner of numerous forms of electronic entertainment and communication devices. But, unlike the majority of people I know, I am reliant on NONE of them. If the power went off right now, I'd be fine. If nothing else, amid all my various gadgets, I do NOT own a GPS Unit. I've rarely found the use of one.
Mainly because, I can read a road map and I've driven enough in the 48 lower states that I don't use a road atlas any more. But I know people who can't cross town without one, many of whom should stay home or let someone else drive. Here's a little story about a lady who should just STAY HOME!
.
I've read plenty of crazy GPS stories, but this has to be the craziest of them all: a 67-year-old woman drove for 900 miles over the course of two days because of a GPS error combined with her complete lack of attention. Her actual destination was only 90 miles away.
The woman, 67-year-old Sabine Moreau, started her journey in her home town of Hainault Erquelinnes, Belgium. She wanted to pick up a friend at a train station in Brussels, just 93 miles north from her point of origin. But instead, she turned on her GPS, which told her to drive south, taking her turn by turn all the way down to Zagreb, in Croatia. Instead of a couple hours in the car, she spent a couple days to cover the 900 miles that separates both points in Europe.
During Sabine's odyssey, she stopped two times to get gas, slept for a few hours on the side of the road, and even suffered a minor car accident. How the hell did this happen without her noticiting? She knows it sounds weird, but she was distracted, she said:
She wasn't in Belgium anymore? She was barely still in EUROPE driving 900 miles East! She drove OUT of her own country, and through several others, and didn't know it. Now I realize that the borders aren't as tough as they used to be pre-Eurozone, but they've STILL got to be marked, right? And how long did it take for this brainless twit to drive 900 miles? It takes about 16 to 18 hours to drive that far, stopping for fuel and food and allowing for traffic.
This is much more a story about some lady who needs to give up her license. If she's that goofy about distances, time and directions, how many people did she run off the road or otherwise hamper on her magical mystery tour?

Military Pay raise
It's official. We knew it was coming, but didn't know exactly how it would look. Now we do.
Chief Warrant Officer 4 getting paid for 28 years of service.
2013 pay raise: $122/month (comes to between $0.38-$0.51 per hour)
2013 raise in taxes (FICA & tax on the $122 raise): $160
Best part is, and please don't forget, ......
If you draw a military pension, when you are eligible for SS, your pension is reduced by that amount, dollar for dollar....effectively telling your retired service members that they are expected to sacrifice for the greater good by contributing to SS, but they never get to draw from it.

A Belated Friday Funny
Tim
decided to tie the knot with his long time girlfriend. One evening,
after the honeymoon, he was assembling some loads for an upcoming hunt.
His new wife was standing there at the bench watching him. After along period of silence she finally speaks.
Honey, I've been thinking, now that we are married I think it's time you quit hunting, shooting, hand loading, and fishing. Maybe you should sell your guns and boat.
Tim gets this horrified look on his face.
She says, "Darling, what's wrong?"
”There for a minute you were sounding like my ex-wife.”
"Ex wife?" she screams, "I didn't know you were married before!"
”I wasn't. “

What's Coming
"Like smokers, gun owners should cower in shame..."
"What we need to do is change the way people think about guns, the same way we changed the way people think about smoking..."
"We need to really brainwash people to think about guns in a vastly different way..."
Those are some of the comments made by the racist communist they call the US Attorney General. In case you forgot, he's the one who is Constitutionally obligated to "impartially " enforce the laws of our country. (yes, i'm laughing at that one also) And, in case you also forgot, he's the guy who gave thousands of "military-style assault weapons" to the drug cartels in Mexico. Those weapons, which the tax-paying fools paid for, were then used to kill thousands of people down there. More importantly, one of those guns was used to murder a US Border Patrol agent. Oh, you don't remember "Fast and Furious" ? Well, don't feel bad. Neither does congress.
This should be a warning to all gun owners and enthusiasts as to what's coming. The "demonizing" of guns and their lawful owners has already started. It's the very same tactic they used on smokers. Let's just hope it's not nearly as effective...

Every year, there are people 'elected' to be Mother of, or Father of, the Year. I remember this stuff from when I was younger. It used to be some mother of 5, who volunteered at the Elementary School, and her dying grandmother lived in their home, who was mother of the Year.
Father of the Year was a guy who had 3 sons, two daughters, worked full time, ran the local Little League and who was weeks away from finishing his G.I. Bill funded degree in something that would make the lives of ORPHANS BETTER!!!!!!
[and yes, I am GD shouting, because you ain't gonna believe WHO is Father of the Year for 2013!!!!]
The 2013, Father of the Year, is William. Jefferson. Clinton.
I shit you NOT!
The National Father’s Day Council has announced its selection for the 2013 “Father of the Year” award — President Bill Clinton.
“We are extremely honored to have President Clinton accept this award for Father of the Year,” says Dan Orwing, Chairman of the National Father’s Day Committee. “With the profound generosity, leadership, and tireless dedication to both his public office and many philanthropic organizations, President Clinton exemplifies the attributes that we celebrate through the father of the year award.”
.
His daughter, Chelsea 'No Chin' Clinton is 33. So I'm pretty sure his fathering days are over. Unless you consider his propensity for spreading the Presidential Love around.

I got this from my Septic Tank guy. He's a Civil Engineer, who owns a septic tank business, so he's my kinda guy. A man who is obviously very smart, but who still knows hard work. Read on.
The most eye-opening civics lesson I ever had was while teaching third grade in 2008.
The presidential election was heating up and some of the children showed an interest.
I decided we would have an election for a Class President.
We would choose our nominees. They would make a campaign speech and the class would vote. To simplify the process, candidates were nominated by other class members.
We discussed what kinds of characteristics these students should have.
We received many nominations and from those, Jamie and Olivia were picked to run for the top spot.
The class had done a great job in their selections. Both candidates were good kids.
I thought Jamie might have an advantage because he had lots of parental support.
I had never even seen Olivia's mother.
The day arrived when they were to make their speeches.
Jamie went first.
He had specific ideas about how to make our class a better place. They were well thought out, and would benefit everyone in the class. He ended by promising to do his very best.
Everyone applauded and he sat down. Now it was Olivia's turn to speak.
Her speech was concise. She said, "If you will vote for me, I will give you ice cream." She then sat down.
The class went wild. "Yes! Yes! We want ice cream."
Surely she would say more, but she did not have to.
A discussion followed. How did she plan to pay for the ice cream? Would her parents buy it or would the class pay for it...She didn't know, and the class really didn't care. She simply reassured them they would receive ice cream, and lots of it. They took her at her word. All they were thinking about was ice cream.
Jamie was forgotten, and Olivia won by a landslide. Two months have passed since the election, and the class has yet to eat ice cream. Her classmates ask Olivia when they will have ice cream, and she tells them she is working very hard on getting it for them, but there are lots of obstacles slowing her down. She reassures them they will get it, and they again take her at her word.
Every time Barack Obama opened his mouth, he offered ice cream and 51.4 % of the people reacted like nine year olds. They wanted ice cream. The other 48.6% percent know they're going to have to feed the cow and clean up the mess.
.
It don't know if it's true or if it's made up, but I can't top THAT thing if I live to be 200 years old!.

I Hate To Say I Told You So, But,...
Here’s something for all those fools who actually believe our political system is legitimate. It may also explain how Obummer was able to tell Russia’s Puten what he was going to do “when” he was reelected, not “if”. That was months (before) the election.
Sometimes you just cannot argue with the numbers. If these numbers are correct and true, the USA has bigger problems on their hands other than who was elected President.
From Bill O’Reilly’s message board.
Most everyone suspected fraud, but these numbers prove it and our government and media refuse to do anything about it. As each state reported their final election details, the evidence of voter fraud is astounding. Massive voter fraud has been reported in areas of OH and FL, with PA, WI and VA, all are deploying personnel to investigate election results.
Here are just a few examples of what has surfaced with much more to come.
* In 59 voting districts in the Philadelphia region, Obama received 100% of the votes with not even a single vote recorded for Romney. (a mathematical and statistical impossibility).
* In 21 districts in Wood County Ohio, Obama received 100% of the votes where GOP inspectors were illegally removed from their polling locations – and not one single vote was recorded for Romney. (another statistical impossibility).
* In Wood County Ohio, 106,258 voted in a county with only 98,213 eligible voters.
* In St. Lucie County, FL, there were 175,574 registered eligible voters but 247,713 votes were cast.
* The National SEAL Museum , a polling location in St. Lucie County, FL had a 158% voter turnout.
* Palm Beach County , FL had a 141% voter turnout.
* In Ohio County , Obama won by 108% of the total number of eligible voters.
NOTE: Obama won in every state that did not require a Photo ID and lost in every state that did require a Photo ID in order to vote...... Welcome to Amerika...

Here We Go Again
As we all know, the Left loves to use props to further it's political agenda. Those props usually include women, gays, blacks, and illegals. Now, with the belief they may finally have a chance to disarm America, they're also using one of their favorite tools, emotions.
They started with James Brady, an assistant of President Reagan, and who was also wounded the day Reagan was shot. Every time the Left wanted to attack the 2nd Amendment, they would wheel Brady out onto some stage all crumpled up in his wheelchair. They also used a twisted and wheel-chair bound Christopher Reeves, a young liberal actor who played Superman. Reeves wasn't shot, but was seriously injured falling off a horse. But hey, emotions are emotions.
Now, they're using the mother of one of the murdered children from the Sandy Hook school shooting. And, with NYC's Queen Bloomberg running the Lefts assault, you can bet more of those poor parents will be conned into making anti-gun commercials. Again, play on the emotions and hysteria, both of which are being kept alive by the MSM.
Last week, when it was announced the Marxist-in-Chief had tapped Bloomberg, the most radical anti-gun zealot in the country, as an "advisor" for his anti-gun agenda, i said that all gun owners had better watch out. While Joe Biden was named to be "in charge" of this effort, you can bet your life it's Queen Bloomberg who will actually be calling the shots. And, he plays dirty! Gun enthusiasts had better prepare for all-out war...
Questioning the MSM
I know that on December 14, 2012 in Newtown, CT. something happened.
I'm 90% sure there was a mass shooting.
Beyond that, all I know is rhetoric, BS, political positioning and accusation. We've talked, in the past, about the effectiveness, truthfulness of the MSM.
.
And before I go on, let me say that I am NOT a conspiracy type. But a professor in Florida, James Tracy, says about what we all have. 'Something' happened, but WhoTF knows what it really was.
.
A communication professor known for conspiracy theories has stirred controversary at Florida Atlantic University with claims that last month's Newtown, Conn., school shootings did not happen as reported — or may not have happened at all.
Moreover, James Tracy asserts in radio interviews and on his memoryholeblog.com. that trained "crisis actors" may have been employed by the Obama administration in an effort to shape public opinion in favor of the event's true purpose: gun control.
"As documents relating to the Sandy Hook shooting continue to be assessed and interpreted by independent researchers, there is a growing awareness that the media coverage of the massacre of 26 children and adults was intended primarily for public consumption to further larger political ends," writes Tracy, a tenured associate professor of media history at FAU and a former union leader.
.
The article isn't much longer than that, but the Comments are WELL worth reading. And his blog is, uh, interesting!

Gun Appreciation Day
On January 19th, there will be a Gun Appreciation Day. I'm not sure yet what that meas HERE, but I'll carry a banner, waddle slowly in a March on the Capital, call my [idiot] elected worms and rattle their cages. I'll pretty much do WTF ever it takes to keep MY guns in MY hands.
.
Saying they're following the example of last year's Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day, a coalition of "gun rights" activists announced today that they're calling on like-minded Americans to visit gun stores, gun ranges and gun shows on Jan. 19 in a show of unity they're calling "Gun Appreciation Day."
It's no coincidence that the 19th is Saturday of the weekend when President Obama will be sworn into office for a second time. Organizers say the date was chosen "to send a message to Washington two days before Obama's second inauguration." They're worried about what they see as the "Obama administration's post-Sandy Hook assault on gun rights."
On Dec. 14, a gunman killed 20 first-graders and six educators at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., before taking his own life.
Among the groups that are on board with Gun Appreciation Day: the Second Amendment Foundation and the Conservative Action Fund, a so-called SuperPAC.
The 19th, by the way, is also a National Day of Service when, as the White House hopes, Americans will honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. "through a day of service and volunteering."

What will YOU do to help out?

Who knew that Irony's last name was Carville!?
Over the years, we've seen those on the left Tweet, Twing, Twiddle, Text and E-Mail that some Right Side name in the news should die, get some horrible disease, their daughters should be raped, sons should be emasculated, blah, blah, blah.
.
And during or after these attacks, there is NEVER anyone who says the tweeters should cool it. Or that the e-mailers should stop and think, before attacking the attackees. OpEd pages or news stories will make note of the evildoers, but no one EVER says it should stop.
.
However, James Carville is upset at the people who questioned the legitimacy of Hillary Clinton's medical state during her recent concussion scare. It seems that Mr. Carville thinks those who 'questioned' if she'd actually been hurt as being 'inhuman'. He can't imagine why they think that way.
.
So questioning the concussion and near disappearance of the United States Secretary Of State, who was gone for the better part of two weeks, is inhumane.
But HOPING that George Herbert Walker Bush dies a horrible death, goes unanswered.
Calling Sarah Palin's teen daughter a slut, and her Down Syndrome child a retard, goes unanswered.
Tweeting that you hope Mitt Romney's wife get cancer again, goes unanswered.
I could go on, but you've seen and read the stupidity I'm talking about. And as I don't tweet, I'll just BLOG that I hope Carville and his ilk live long, healthy lives, die peacefully in their sleep and go to their just rewards. And only God knows what those rewards are.

Wise Words From A Friend
Why Carry a Gun?
My old grandpa said to me "Son, there comes a time in every
man's life when he stops bustin' knuckles and starts bustin' caps and
usually it's when he becomes too old to take a whoopin..."
I don't carry a gun to kill people.
I carry a gun to keep from being killed.
I don't carry a gun to scare people.
I carry a gun because sometimes this world can be a scary place.
I don't carry a gun because I'm paranoid.
I carry a gun because there are real threats in the world.
I don't carry a gun because I'm evil.
I carry a gun because I have lived long enough to see the evil
in the world..
I don't carry a gun because I hate the government.
I carry a gun because I understand the limitations of government.
I don't carry a gun because I'm angry.
I carry a gun so that I don't have to spend the rest of my
life hating myself for failing to be prepared.
I don't carry a gun because I want to shoot someone.
I carry a gun because I want to die at a ripe old age in my
bed, and not on a sidewalk somewhere tomorrow afternoon.
I don't carry a gun because I'm a cowboy.
I carry a gun because, when I die and go to heaven, I want to
be a cowboy.
I don't carry a gun to make me feel like a man.
I carry a gun because men know how to take care of themselves
and the ones they love.
I don't carry a gun because I feel inadequate.
I carry a gun because unarmed and facing three armed thugs, I
am inadequate....
I don't carry a gun because I love it.
I carry a gun because I love life and the people who make it
meaningful to me.
Police protection is an oxymoron. Free citizens must protect themselves.
Police do not protect you from crime, they usually just investigate the crime (after) it happens and then call someone in to clean up the mess.
"Personally, I carry a gun because I'm too young to die and too
old to take an "ass" whoopin".....author unknown (but obviously
brilliant)

A LITTLE GUN HISTORY
In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929
to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves,
were rounded up and exterminated.
------------------------------
In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917,
1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up
and exterminated.
------------------------------
Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945,
a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend
themselves were rounded up and exterminated.
------------------------------
China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20
million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were
rounded up and exterminated.
------------------------------
Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981,
100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up
and exterminated.
------------------------------
Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979,
300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and
exterminated.
------------------------------
Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977,
one million educated people, unable to defend themselves, were
rounded up and exterminated.
-----------------------------
Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th
Century because of gun control: 56 million.
------------------------------
You won't see this data on the US evening news, or hear
politicians disseminating this information. Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding
citizens.
Take note my fellow Americans, before it's too late!
The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, please
remind them of this history lesson. With guns, we are 'citizens'. Without them, we are 'subjects'. During WW II the Japanese decided not to invade America
because they knew most Americans were ARMED!

Can America Survive?
Thanks, IMO, to the utter weakness and complete surrender by the republican party and the tea party, we have four more years of the Marxist-in-Chief. That means four more years to "transform" America even more than has been done in the last four years. Many believe transform actually means, to destroy everything America has been and was intended to be, and the people in this article are determined to do it. That's not just some "wild, right-wing conspiracy" as the MSM would have you believe. It's an actual plan implemented by serious people, as the enclosed article shows.
We are being pushed and dragged further and further to the far-left. Over 400 new "rules and regulations" have been introduced by this Marxist administration, many of them very radical, and that's just since the election. While the American sheeple are busy tweeting and doing all the other things intended to keep them anesthetized, America is being strangled. Slowly, quietly, and effectively, and all nicely packaged by the MSM.
I fear for the future of my country, and for the futures of my grandchildren. Those are not words i have ever spoken before, nor are they words i would have believed coming from someone else, prior to 2008 that is. Looking around, i also fear the American people, generally speaking, are getting weaker, more gullible, dumber, and more distracted from the reality of what's actually happening. Maybe they think there's some App they can download that will make everything better. That wouldn't surprise me. The country doesn't seem to mind the hard push to the far-left. If the country gets comfortable with this push over the next four years, (and the MSM will do everything in it's power to make sure it does) they will carry that with them to the next election. America will be done...
