The expected end of a high speed chase

http://www.naztoday.com/news/top-stories/2010/07/high-speed-pursuit-leeds-to-traffic-accident-along-camp-townsend-winona-road/

Well boys & girls, when you decide to run from the police, you know what to expect, unfortunately the innocent sometimes get to suffer with you.

The article isn's such a big deal, but somebody videoed the medical crew and aircraft. Unfortunately, I was working nights, so this was the day crew who get to be famous. At the end of the article are some pictures and a short video. The thing to think about is the tight space this pilot was in (wires, traffic, large patient, and a hot day with altitude, 7,000 ft). The pilot had to back up, set down to cool off the engine, then make a running start over the officer's head to get out of there. Did I mention that the pilot is a legal eastern European immigrant?

I love my job.

First of all, there's no such thing as a Camaro sedan. The bottom line to this story is;
Don't run, you'll only die tired.

H.R. McMaster had a great quote in one of his inspirational speeches to his troops.

They'll run, then turn and see us, then they will be sad. (pause) because they know that they will soon be dead.

cheers.

did it resemble an Allegiant Airlines jet? It sat on our runway for 2 days with blown tires and no way to tug it off. Can't wait to see how much that is going to cost.
