Here's my take on spanking.
Back during the old Cold War days, the East and West practiced what was called Nuclear Detente. Nobody wanted to launch first because they knew that the other guys would wipe them off the face of the Earth. My kids, and now my grandkids are being raised in that same spirit. I call it,

Above The Law
In Amerika, (theoretically speaking) our constitution tells us that no one is above the law, and that includes everyone up to, and including, the President of the United States. In fact, it was a phrase that was worn out by the MSM and every other Leftist during the Watergate fiasco. Of course, we know a lot of politicians who would laugh at the idea that laws apply to them, but that's another story.
In Amerika, every law enforcement officer in the country, be they local, state, or federal, is mandated by law to abide by that standard. So why would yo president allow a foreign police agency to come here and be, "above and beyond any of our laws"? Why would Mullah Odumbo give INTERPOL, the international police agency, diplomatic immunity in this country, making them "literally immune" to any of our laws? It is a status reserved for foreign diplomats ONLY! Even members of congress and the courts don't enjoy such privileges.
Of course, our diplomats enjoy those privileges overseas. And while the FBI operates in many countries, they have nowhere near that kind of unlimited freedom and protection. (not even here at home) They are always subject to the laws and rules of the country they're in. So what's going on here? Keep in mind that INTERPOL works for, and answers to, the International Criminal Court. That's the same court that socialists and Marxists have been working hard to have replace our judicial system.

I Was Just Wondering
Apparently, the child of a "visiting friend" was injured on the beach at "Mullah Obama's compound" in Hawaii. Personally, i wasn't aware He had a compound in Hawaii. Odd that there's no mention of just who that visiting friend is, nor is there any mention of who actually owns that compound. In fact, i checked over at CNN and the NY Slimes, and there's not one word of this story, nor any mention of a vacation compound. Hmmm... Of course, this gets my normally suspicious mind going.
One thing we know for sure is that the First Ho is there, along with the First Mother-in-law, and their entourage of White servants. And since We The Fools are picking-up the tab, i wonder who else we're paying for.

Dear Civilians, 'We know that the current state of affairs in our great nation has many civilians up in arms and excited to join the military.For those of you who can't join, you can still lend a hand. Here are a few of the areas where we would like your assistance:
1. The next time you see any adults talking (or wearing a hat) during the playing of the National Anthem - kick their ass.
2. When you witness, firsthand, someone burning the American Flag in protest - kick their ass.
3. Regardless of the rank they held while they served, pay the highest amount of respect to all veterans. If you see anyone doing otherwise, quietly pull them aside and explain how these veterans fought for the very freedom they bask in every second. Enlighten them on the many sacrifices these veterans made to make this Nation great. Then hold them down while a disabled veteran kicks their ass.
4.. If you were never in the military, DO NOT pretend that you were. Wearing battle dress uniforms (BDUs) or Jungle Fatigues, telling others that you used to be 'Special Forces'. Collecting GI Joe memorabilia, might have been okay when you were seven years old, now, it will only make you look stupid and get your ass kicked.
5. Next time you come across an *Air Force* member, do not ask them, 'Do you fly a jet?' Not everyone in the Air Force is a pilot. Such ignorance deserves an ass-kicking (children are exempt).
6. If you witness someone calling the *US Coast Guard* 'non-military', inform them of their mistake - and kick their ass.
7. Next time Old Glory (the US flag) prances by during a parade, get on your damn feet and pay homage to her by placing your hand over your heart. Quietly thank the military member or veteran lucky enough to be carrying her - of course, failure to do either of those could earn you a severe ass-kicking.
8. Don't try to discuss politics with a military member or veteran. We are Americans, and we all bleed the same, regardless of our party affiliation. Our Chain of Command is to include our Commander-In-Chief (CinC). The President (for those who didn't know) is our CinC regardless of political party. We have no inside track on what happens inside those big important buildings where all those representatives meet. All we know is that when those civilian representatives screw up the situation, they call upon the military to go straighten it out. If you keep asking us the same stupid questions repeatedly, you will get your ass kicked.
9. 'Your mama wears combat boots' never made sense to me - stop saying it! If she did, she would most likely be a vet and therefore would kick your ass!
10. Bin Laden and the Taliban are not Communists, so stop saying 'Let's go kill those Commies !' And stop asking us where he is! Crystal balls are not standard issue in the military. That reminds me - if you see anyone calling those damn psychic phone numbers, let me know, so I can go kick their ass!
11. 'Flyboy' (*Air Force*), 'Jarhead' (*Marines*), 'Grunt' (*Army*), 'Squid' (*Navy*), 'Puddle Jumpers' (*Coast Guard*), etc., are terms of endearment we use describing each other. Unless you are a service member or vet, you have not earned the right to use them. Using them could get your ass kicked.
12. Last, but not least, whether or not you become a member of the military, support our troops and their families. Time For "Butch" To Go!
Now that another terrorist has managed to board a plane bound for America, this time with explosive underwear, you can bet the rest of us will be subjected to yet more idiotic rules from from the Department of Homeland Stupidity, and it's deep-voiced ruler, Janet (butch) Napolitano. By the time she/he hit the third show, her statement had changed "three times"! Perhaps seeing even the liberal talking heads laughing at her/his incredibly dumb statement caused the changes.
The sad (and scary) thing is, the only reason Napolitano ever got this highly-sensitive job is simply because she/he is a hard-core Leftist bull dyke. A clear indication came when she/he decided to change the term "terrorism" to "man-caused disasters". You can bet all her heavy flannel shirt-wearing dyke friends were ecstatic with that move. Like Mullah Odumbo in his job, Butch is totally unqualified for this extremely important position. And, just like Odumbo, Butch sounds like a total asshole when speaking without a staff of writers first penning every word. Merry Christmas from my Uncle

Uncle Fu wanted me to pass on his favorite Christmas Cookie recipe.

Jack Daniel's Christmas cookies!
.
Recipe
1 cup of water
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup or brown sugar
4 large eggs
1 cup nuts
2 cups of dried fruit
1 bottle Jack Daniel's Whiskey.
Sample the Jack to check quality. Take a large bowl, Check the Jack again, to be sure it is of the highest quality, Pour one level cup and drink.
Turn on the electric mixer. Beat one cup of butter, in a large fluffy bowl.
Add one peastoon of sugar. Beat again. At this point it's best to make sure the whiskey is still ok, try another Cup of that JD just in case. You don’ wanna make anybutty sick.
Turn off the mixerater thingy. Break 2 leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit. Pick the frigging fruit off the floor that bissed the mowl.
Mix on the turner. If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaters just pry it loose with a drewscriver. Sample OL’ Mr. Jack one more time for sexkurity and to check for tonsisticity.
Next, sift two cups of salt, or something. Who geeves a rat’s hat!!
Check the Jack Daniel's. Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts.
Add one table.
Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you can find.
Greash the oven.
Turn the cake pan 360 degrees and try not to fall over.
Don't forget to beat off the turner.
Finally, throw the bowl through the window, finish the Dack Janiel's and make sure to put the stove in the wishdasher.

And what if i also told you that on that same WH tree, you could find another ornament with the face of a well-known drag queen? No, i haven't been drinking. Well, not that much. Now remember, you and i paid for that tree, and it's in what we've been led to believe is, The Peoples House. Fundamentally change America? Apparently, that's exactly what Mullah Odumbo is doing, but it's the kind of change that makes real Americans reach for their guns, ropes, and torches!

Most of you have much more formal education than I amassed. Having said that, and I've said before, I'm as unimpressed with higher education as I could ever be. Most people cease learning at about 15 or 16. After that, they just pass the tests to get through it. To prove they aren't very smart, a majority of them voted for Barrack Hussein Obama last year, right?
To prove my point, the Associated Press gets skewered regularly by us for idiot phrasing and word use. Today's entry is a dilly. The topic is natural gas. Oddly, it appears that it's in the Middle East where most of the oil already lies buried. Here's the headline, emphasis, mine, all mine!!

The article is about natural gas finds. But is it really under where Jesus was crucified? No, it's here in North America actually. I've read a number of articles about it recently.

But the AP, has done a boo boo with respect to phrasing. The headline clearly says, natural gas is THE SAVIOR, I still don't think that's what they meant to say. How often does the MSM talk down any possibility of the existence of the Judeo-Christian God? Every day, that's how often. Why now, then, use that as an example?

Here's what I think. The word they actually meant to use was CAVALRY, as in, John Wayne, on a horse, saber in hand, charges in to save the wagon train. But they used the word many people use for that, a malapropism, CALVARY, the place where a quite different savior was known to have once been.

The article is about natural gas finds. But is it really under where Jesus was crucified? No, it's here in North America actually. I've read a number of articles about it recently.

But the AP, has done a boo boo with respect to phrasing. The headline clearly says, natural gas is THE SAVIOR, I still don't think that's what they meant to say. How often does the MSM talk down any possibility of the existence of the Judeo-Christian God? Every day, that's how often. Why now, then, use that as an example?

Here's what I think. The word they actually meant to use was CAVALRY, as in, John Wayne, on a horse, saber in hand, charges in to save the wagon train. But they used the word many people use for that, a malapropism, CALVARY, the place where a quite different savior was known to have once been.

They could, of course meant that natural gas would save us the way Jesus did, or does, but I really doubt that was their point. Especially given their ongoing war against Jesus, his followers and given the MSM's propensity for total and undeniable idiocy.

This story should come as no surprise to those who still have the ability to think for themselves, which obviously does not include the Kool-Aid gulpers of the Left. I'm sure that as we speak, fat Algore has a team of lawyers and speech writers frantically working to make him appear to be against global warming, cap and trade, and all the other bullshit scams they're trying to run on the world.

Global Warming; The Spark That Ignited The Powderkeg?

Is it just me, or does that sound like, "hey guys, buy more ammo"? And since he knows a whole lot more about what's really going on behind the scenes than we do, is Newt telling us to "get ready"? With the incredible power the EPA has just granted itself, all they need is a nod from comrade Obummer, and they will be into every single aspect of our lives. There's not one thing we do on a daily basis that won't be regulated in one way or another. Light bulbs, cars, food, home heating and cooling, your TV set, and everything else we do or have. Socialism? We're getting into hard-core Marxism now! This is the kind of stuff Hugo, and Kim Jong, and Fidel do.
The article implies the possibility of legal action against comrade Obummer if he signs an international treaty with the global warming psycho's in Denmark. But who will bring that action? Would that be the job of the congress? (fat chance!) Since a private citizen can not sue the president or congress, who is it left up to?
There was a time in our history when Americans picked-up arms and went to war over far less than what's being done to us. If we stay silent, we will most likely lose what freedoms we have left. If we wait for the next election, all we'll do is give the corrupt politicians something else to laugh at, since that will change nothing, (as usual) and they know it.

Sen. Chuck Schumer had harsh words for a flight attendant who told him to turn off his phone for takeoff.

An elementary school in Indiana reportedly removed a mention of Allah in its holiday show after protests from a national conservative Christian group.
Lantern Road Elementary Principal Danielle Thompson told IndyStar.com that school officials in Fishers, Ind., attempted to teach inclusiveness through the second-grade program that included portions on Christmas, Hanukkah, Ramadan, Las Posadas and Kwanzaa.
"It went off last night without a hitch," Thompson told the Web site. "Several families thought it was a nice program."
Thompson said officials removed the phrase "Allah is God," however, after the American Family Association complained about the program on its electronic newsletter. The alteration was made because no other deities were named in the program.
Shariq Siddiqui, executive director of the Muslim Alliance of Indiana, told the Web site that the decision to remove the word Allah was most certainly not inclusive.

I think we should be inclusive at all holidays. During Ramadan, I think right after they have the call to prayer, they should BE REQUIRED to read Luke 2: 8 - 14.

Strategy For Defeat
IMO, one of the main reasons we will lose the war in Afghanistan is because our brave warriors are being told "not to win". It's the same basic political mentality that was used in Viet Nam; go and fight, but don't win, and whatever you do, don't hurt anybody. This is a blueprint for defeat.
Afghanistan is probably the most unique war we've ever fought, in that, it's not even a real country, and there's no real way to tell who the enemy actually is. Does the terrorist who simply runs out of ammo instantly become a non-combatant, and therefor, a non-target? It's an interesting way to fight a war, assuming you don't care how many of your own warriors make it back home in one piece. But if you do care, then they shouldn't be sacrificed simply for someones PC'ized political motives. They are far too precious a resource to be squandered away like that. I know that the nitwit who occupied the Oval Office before Odumbo had nation-building on his small mind, but that's a fools errand. Afghanistan is not a nation. It never has been and never will be. They're very happy living in the 4th century, and we should leave them to it. The Russians found that out the hard way, and so will we. The terrorists we've killed there so far would be just as dead using air-power alone. We have that capability.
So i find myself doing something i never do, that is, taking the same position as many on the Left take when it comes to this war, albeit for very, very, different reasons. If you won't let highly-trained warriors do what they've been trained to do, then bring them home. Now! If you want "hand holders and baby sitters" instead of warriors, send in the Peace Corp. or comrade Odumbo's "civilian army of volunteers". And, if you want to build Afghanistan into a "nation", send Jimmy (peanut brain) Carter and his carpenters, and bring our brave fighters home. Now!

If a conservative doesn´t like guns, he doesn`t buy one.
If a liberal doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.

If a conservative sees a foreign threat, he thinks about how to defeat his enemy.
A liberal wonders how to surrender gracefully and still look good.
If a conservative is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.
If a liberal is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.
If a black man or Hispanic are conservative, they see themselves as independently successful.
Their liberal counterparts see themselves as victims in need of government protection.

A liberal wonders who is going to take care of him.

9mm ammo and Nickels

You ever notice how things not necessarily connected, can get connected to each other, by a third thing or occurrence?
I read the posting, about a 1 million men army for the third time in as many weeks, and once again all I saw were the holes in it. A MILLION new soldiers, on OUR streets. And all by The Messiah's thin brown hand. It still sounds like bull shit to me. My uncle thinks so too, and he said so earlier.
Before I read it (again) I was cleaning up around my recliner, here in Casa de Schteveo. I've been battling a unknown intestinal illness since before Turkey Day that is keeping me posted there in that chair about 23 hours a day, so "things" had piled up. Two things were found under the table in my sorting.
A box of 9mm ammo, minus all but 6 rounds.
&
A 1941 nickel.

I collect old nickels, started 30 odd years ago when I worked at Dominos. I found several Buffalo Nickels in one night and that's how it started. Pure fascination with something most people overlook, 5 cents worth of silver and nickel. Not too many WWII or pre-war 5 centers left, but this one came out of change from our trip to Kentucky. It's been in circulation too, it's all beat to hell, hard to read, filthy, dinged and certainly 5 cents ain't what it was in 1941.

But I thought about finding that nickel, that 1941 nickel, just a few days after Pearl Harbor Day. Many of you may remember that I'm an old squid. (translation for you non-military types: Navy member; sailor) I got to thinking that the law of averages would tell us that this nickel was minted before December 7, 1941, it just WAS back then, it was alive then on that day of infamy. It may well have traveled far and wide in some sailor's or some soldier's or some airmen's pocket or gear to Europe, Africa or Asia. Regardless, it was alive, from then, until now, 68 years.
But even though I've looked at thousands of nickels, this morning it made a difference, connected with that million troop article, and the ammunition. Here's how.
While I was cleaning, I had on TCM, they were showing a WWII movie, "This Land is Mine". I've seen it in pieces before but never from start to finish. It's about a small town in Europe where the Nazi's are already well intrenched and the Americans are bombing regularly to get them out. Some of the towns people side with the bombers, others side with the Nazis. Charles Laughton plays a middle -aged, bachelor, a teacher who lives with his mother. He's a bit "feminine" for lack of a better term, a mommy's boy, a wimp. But he has a crush on one of the new, young teachers. Being a wimp, he does nothing about the girl, sides with no one over the war.
Events transpire to put him at odds with the traditional powers that be, accused of murder. The Nazis will see that he's freed, so he can teach National Socialism to the school children, help create the New World Order, for his new found Nazi friends. But after he gets that offer, he watches as the Nazis execute 10 of his townsmen, including the School Principal, his best friend. He finds his courage on the witness stand and tells of the deal to set him free. Ultimately the Nazis come to execute him for not kow towing to their will. They take him from his classroom where he's teaching about freedom.
OK, here's how it ties together, ready?
You can believe what you will about "troops" in your streets. You can believe what you want about Obama and his "power" to get 1 million troops in the streets. You can believe what you want about "foreign" or "new" troops on your streets. I've told you what I believe numerous times.
But, I know that many of the same people who were overtly isolationists before December 7, 1941, when that nickel was just a pup. Those same people were rabidly ready to defend this country by sundown that day. Given the old polling numbers on Dec 6, 1941, the majority of Americans DID NOT want to even supply arms to the Europeans who were fighting tyrannical powers. But after the country WAS attacked, things changed.
I believe the same thing will be true if presented, again, here in America. People who are not political, or who are anti-gun, anti-WTF have you, WILL NOT stand by and be subjugated by Obama, Yo Mama or Yo Yo Yo any fucking body else Yo got. They will not see their children abused or starved or mistreated. It will not happen. Hell, they won't let them be spanked at school NOW, yet you think they'll allow them to be pushed into a way of life mommmy and daddy don't want!!?
You do and believe what you want, I'll defend your right to do so. Me, my nickels and my ammunition will be shooting the first mother fucker who tries to take my nickels, my guns or the aforementioned ammunition. Regardless, I'm gonna go down fighting, 1941 nickel in pocket, guns in hand, believing that most Americans are going to protect themselves. Wimps now or not, when pushed to the right point. They’ll stand up.
That will include our friends and family in the military. They, like me, will follow their oath. An oath sworn to defend the Constitution, and the country. It's not an oath to defend Obama or any other temporary resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. They'll stand up for that oath and for themselves.

Why The Left Is Winning
Although the majority of Americans are not aware of it, most of us here know that this country is, and has been, involved in a culture war for decades. It's not simply a war between the social engineers of the Left and the Right, but a war between the rabidly intolerant Left and anyone who dares oppose them. And it doesn't take a genius to look around and see that we, who are not part of the left, are losing. We've already lost our government, and i truly believe our freedom is next. That may sound like a pretty radical opinion to some, but perhaps they're not paying attention to what this govt. is doing, and is in the process of doing.
As i've said before, there is (IMO) only one way to defeat the Left, and that is to use their tactics. Simply being right, sensible, and rational, doesn't count any more, as the now-dead Republican party found out. We need leaders who are not afraid to "take the gloves off " and go for blood as those on the Left are in the habit of doing every day. Of course, the Left does have a major advantage, and that is the MSM, which makes everything the Left does and says appear to be right and true.
Being conservative in your political philosophy is one thing, but being conservative in your words and actions when fighting the Left is (IMO) a losing strategy. Just ask the Republicans who still don't get it. We had better start fighting, really fighting, or get used to wearing a leash...

Michelle Brewer said she was opening Brewer’s Fine Jewelry, 228 N. Main St., the store she co-owns with her husband, on Saturday morning when the incident occurred.
After Brewer parked her car next to the store, she walked around the corner and saw the deer.
“I remember seeing them and that was it,” Brewer said. “There was no time to do anything.”

Has The Line Been Crossed?
IMO, the answer to the above question is clearly, yes! Those of us not addicted to Kool-Aid realize there are certain words that cannot be used when describing the MSM. Words like, fair, unbiased, honest, truthful, accurate, and neutral, are some of the words that come to mind. And, as many of us know, when the above words (values, goals) are no longer part of the MSM's basic work "ethic", it can have dire consequences on our country and our very lives, since tens-of-millions of people still rely on what they see, and especially what they're told, by the MSM.
Although this article is about the growing global-warming scam, and how some very powerful people are fighting hard to keep it alive, thus making sure that Trillions of our dollars are sent in their direction, along with total control over our lives, it also raises (IMO) some questions that may be far more important, questions, that up until the 60's, were not really necessary to ask, since back then, the MSM simply did it's job, which was to report "the factual news". The Viet Nam war changed all that. It was, for the most part, that war, and the phony issues created around it, that changed the MSM from "reporters of fact" to "Left-wing political activists".
When our Founding Fathers created the Constitution's First Amendment, which among other things, gave the press far-reaching privileges and protections, did they envision the all-powerful, answerable-to-no-one, highly-biased, Left-wing monster that exists today? Did they think the press would manipulate and abuse it's privileges and protections to the point where today, they are limitless? Was that really their intention?
So my questions are these;

TV Shows
Has anyone noticed that pretty much every single TV show on these days seems to have, as a pre-requisite to the creation of every episode, some dead person in it, who was likely killed in some grusome and nasty fashion?
Bones, NCIS, CSI... Need I go on?
I wonder how much all of this constant exposure to death and gore is effecting us. I remember when I first watched "The Silence of the Lambs" and was grossed out when they used Vick's Vapo-Rub on their noses to hide the smell of the body they were looking at. In a movie, with an R rating, shown in Theaters only, they didn't even really show the body. That was about 20 years ago.
Now, we see on prime time TV every night, bodies being dismembered in the most graphic ways, full-on autopsies with internal organs strewn about - and we watch it all while we're eating dinner.
I must admit I like several of these shows, but it occured to me tonight - WTF is wrong with us? I just watched the new Bones, where a body left in a grease bin and cooked slowly over 2 weeks fell to pieces, skin sloughing, organs falling out... Compared with the modesty of Silence of the Lambs, this was about as graphic a thing you can imagine.
I'm not for censorship at all. I just wonder what happened to nuance and subtlety. I remeber that the looks on the faces of the actors, and the simple action of putting on Vick's vapo-rub under their noses being way more graphic and disturbing than watching a corpse being dimembered on TV tonight. Have we become so unimaginative that we cannot handle nuance anymore? Have we become desensitized?

And finally, Goober’s posting orgy comes to an end, with one post about a massive sadness that has landed on all of us citizens of the Evergreen State. You’ve all heard about the 4 officers that were gunned down earlier this week, and by now, I’m sure you’ve heard that the bastard that did it is just now working his way through the fifth level of hell on his way to his eternal place of residence. I wanted to comment that his death doesn’t make it right, but it certainly brings an awesome sense of closure to the situation. There are people on the west side of the mountains (we call it the LEFT side for a reason, BTW) who are calling for the cop who shot him to be arrested for murder. You see, the bastard didn’t shoot back, all he did was try to run away. Normally, if a cop shot a guy trying to run away, I would be pissed off, too – but in this case, common sense tells me to make an exception. It isn’t as if the guy had made it abundantly clear that he was a serious danger. I would have capped him, too. So, I hereby call for this cop to get a medal, a commendation, and two weeks paid vacation. Who’s with me?

The cynic in me is wondering how this situation with Tiger Woods would have played out had the roles been reversed. No, I really don’t care if he was stupid enough to cheat on his beautiful wife. No, I really don’t care if their marriage in on the rocks because of it – but consider, gentle reader, just exactly how the media and the police would be treating this had the tables been turned. Consider if it was the WIFE who had plowed into a tree because Tiger had chased HER out of the house with a golf club, and broke the rear window of her car, etc, etc, etc.
Oh, yeah. No free pass there, right? Go to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200, and the mainstream media drags you through the mud like they did to Chris Brown (and deservedly so).
Just to prove my point, how many of you are aware that Rhianna was seen to be assaulting Brown with her stiletto heels and slapping his face just seconds before he snapped and choked her? I’m not excusing his actions, but don’t you think that if HE gets destroyed for being a DV aggressor, that SHE ought to also, especially considering that SHE started the physical altercation?
And don’t give me that crap about girls being smaller and weaker than boys. A girl with a stiletto heel or a pissed wife with a 9 iron can do plenty of damage, thanks very much. (Besides, Tiger and Chris are both kind of girly, anyway).

Goober’s back, and he is pissed like a motherfucker at the current state of dishonesty and constituency bashing coming out of Congress. Take earlier today, for example, when Ma’am – er, sorry, SENATOR – Barbara Boxer stated the following in response to Senator James Imhof’s discussion of what we are now referring to as “Climategate” (despite the fact that this humble scribbler is sick to death of every scandal for the last 40 years having –gate attached to the end of it as if that somehow is the only way that we stoopid windowlickers can identify a scandal anymore). To paraphrase her, she basically stated that she doesn’t think of the problem as “Climategate” so much as she thinks of it as “E-mailtheftgate”.
Look, Ma’-er-Senator, it has been pretty much generally accepted that the people at CRU, knowing that they were going to be forced to release this information via FOIA, dumped it onto an FTP server in Russia and then leaked that they had been hacked. This isn’t a hack or a theft, it is their attempt to de-legitimize the data (and subsequently, their long string of lies after lie) by saying it was stolen rather than release it via FOIA. This way, they can contest anything in there by saying that it has been modified by the “hacker”. So, it has been pretty much proven at this point (I’m looking in your direction, Ed Begley, Jr.) that the peer-review process as it relates to global warming is a total fraud. It is clear to me that at least a few of these people need to be investigated and shackled with fraud charges. It also seems to me that some people that know what they are looking at need to analyze the code in the models to see if it is, indeed, as biased towards warming as the summary analyses have thus far claimed. If so, then Boxer, Gore, and all the other people using this as an excuse to grab control of our lives MUST step back and re-analyze this entire situation. Any failure to do that will reveal their true colors and prove what I’ve been saying all along – that AGW is and has always been a red herring created to use as an excuse to take control over us.
I would expect all freedom loving Americans to react accordingly to this revelation.

Is it just me, or does someone else get the impression that our little home-away-from-home here is dying? Looking at the posts and comments, it seems we're down to what, maybe 3 or 4 regulars? Bill (srk) O is here, as is the lovely Lady (C-Bug) Bug, Uncle (Steve) Fu still comes around. Brother Poots stops by now and then, as does Blue on occasion. So where's everyone else? Now i realize some of us have a lot more time on our hands than do others. So is that the only reason?

Democracy?
This is not the first time i have commented on Michael Bloomberg, NYC's fascist little mayor, or as i call him, "the man who would be king". Fascist because, here in NYC, you either live as our "limp-wristed" mayor says you must, or you will be fined or taxed into submission. Once again, he has used his massive wealth, which he made by owning a large chunk of the MSM, (Bloomberg News, Bloomberg TV, etc.) to override and ignore the will of the people of NYC and "buy" himself a 3rd term as mayor. Now i'm aware that it's not all "His Majesty's" fault. It took a totally corrupt City Council to permit him to override two separate referendums voted on by NY'ers, in which they said their mayors are limited to two terms. They also said their City Council is also limited to two terms. (BTW, when the council gave His Majesty the green light for a 3rd term, they also gave themselves the same ability to ignore the will of the people. Cute!)
Of course, his insult to democracy also required the help of his pals in the Leftist MSM, and his political base, the socialists, Marxists, and communists of Manhattan who control much of NYC's politics. You see, everyone here knows that no matter what political hat Mike may be wearing at the moment, (Demoncrat, to Republican, and now to "Independent" ) he is, and always has been, a life-long, hard-core, liberal Demoncrat! It's that fact, and his membership in the MSM, that get the mayor a free pass from NYC's Leftist media.
Is this how democracy is supposed to work? Does political control of this country, and every aspect of the lives of it's people, simply go to the highest bidder? If you look at our corrupt, incompetent political system, whether it's local, state, or federal, the answer is obviously, yes! It's not the most qualified. It's not the most honest. Giving Thanks On Thanksgiving

She's the black, Obamunist lesbian who was sleeping with Oprah. (apparently Oprah is out now. Getting "too close" to Odumbo (or Michelle) perhaps? Hmmm..) Gayle you see, is now a celebrity. And just what is her claim to fame? Well, she's a black lesbian who slept with Oprah, and supported Odumbo! Nuff said?
And just look at Michelle all dressed-up in her fancy ($$$$$) gown. I wonder how many Americans could have fed their families this Thanksgiving on what that dress cost. Oh wait. Back in '93, a couple of days after the WTC was bombed, my partner and i were hurriedly transferred from the Brooklyn Homicide Sqd. to a newly-formed joint task force comprised of the NYPD, FBI, and the NYS Police. The large team was made-up of people with real-world, street experience, not PC'ized desk jockeys and paper pushers. The consensus then was, this was an act of war, why are we involved. PC was not a factor back then, especially not with this team. We were all aware of Mooselamb terrorists active in the US, so it didn't take us very long to figure out who and what to look for. We did what we had to do, and the results were in the news. (well, some of what we did) That was then. This is now.
Today, the FBI is a very different agency. They have become very susceptible to political pressure, especially from the current Leftist govt. In other words, they are awash in political correctness, as are most government agencies. That means they will be much less effective, because they're being controlled by Leftist politicians who are putting on this show for political reasons. I have close friends who are still active in the Bureau. They have served many years and are sick over the changes they see.
Here's something else to think about. Thanks to some incredibly stupid, asinine public statements by Chairman Odumbo, there's a realistic chance these terrorists could walk away! Don't laugh just yet. This is NYC, with our Leftist judges, ultra-liberal juries, and Leftist defense lawyers coming from all over the country to protect the terrorists! Did Odumbo make those statements out of sheer stupidity and his total lack of any experience? Or, was he laying the groundwork for an acquittal, thereby sending a message to his Mooselamb brothers around the world that "we're sensitive to your plight so please don't hurt us any more "...

It's seems fat Algore's plan to become a Gazillionaire, via his global warming scam, may be running into some trouble, namely, the truth! Friday reliever of STRESS!!!
I am not sure exactly how it works, but this is amazingly accurate. Read the full description before looking at the picture.
The picture below has 2 identical dolphins in it. It was used in a case study on stress levels at St. Mary's Hospital. Look at both dolphins jumping out of the water. The dolphins are identical. A closely monitored, scientific study revealed that, in spite of the fact that the dolphins are identical, a person under stress would find differences in the two dolphins. The more differences a person finds between the dolphins, the more stress that person is experiencing.
Look at the photograph and if you find more than one or two differences you may want to take a vacation.

So here's my question for the day. How do you tell a "good" Mooselamb from a radical, blood-thirsty, Amerika-hating, Mooselamb terrorist?
Well, the fact that one is wearing a bomb vest might give you a clue. But what if that terrorist removes his/her vest. Then what? Is he/she still a radical terrorist? Apparently, if you're the CIA and you don't see the vest, you welcome them into the main agency responsible for protecting this country from blood-thirsty, Amerika-hating, radical, Mooselambs. And of course, you believe them when they say they're "the peaceful kind", like the Ft. Hood terrorist did before he started shooting.
Now to a rational person, the above sounds like a really crazy idea. But if you're part of the anti-American government in DC, it makes perfect sense. Do you remember that saying from The Godfather II movie? ("Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer "). Actually, i don't think Michael Corleone was referring to bomb vest-wearing Mooselambs. The Mafia, unlike the CIA, is not that stupid. Remember, this is the same CIA that was gutted by Bubba and Hitlary in the early 90's, and filled with Left-thinking followers. As a result, people deep inside the agency were responsible for endless leaks to the MSM during the GWB presidency. While i'm sure most of the people at CIA are highly dedicated, brave, and patriotic, most is not all. What, if anything, does PC, political agenda, and our current Marxist government have to do with this decision? And have the folks at CIA never heard of language courses?

Would-be Seattle ninja found impaled on metal fence

Seattle police said an officer checking out a report of an assault in the 600 block of 7th Avenue late Monday came across a man impaled on top of a metal fence, screaming for help.
Firefighters pulled the man from the metal spike and took him to Harborview Medical Center.
Police thought the man may have been involved in the earlier assault call so they went to interview him at the hospital. There, police said, the man told them that he was not being chased but thought he was a ninja and believed he could leap the fence.

Uh Oh, More Political Correctness?
Initially, we were told it was the young female police officer who shot the MOOSELAMB TERRORIST at Ft. Hood. Now it seems, a black male officer is saying it was his bullets that brought down the TERRORIST. And if the black officers account is true, shouldn't he receive the same amount of credit? The fact that she was wounded and he wasn't, shouldn't make any difference. They were both there and under fire. That makes them both heroes in my book.
Now i'm not questioning the actions or the bravery of these fine officers. But, could the military's penchant for political correctness and diversity, no doubt a result of the current Leftist govt.'s influence, have played a role in announcing that it was only the female officer who brought down the terrorist? In 2006, a year where it was reported to be a particularly "light" year in terms of flu mortality due to a weak strain or a good vaccine depending on who you believe led to a CDC Reported rate (including pneumonia as a complication of flu) was 776.4 deaths per 100,000 cases or a mortality rate of approx 0.02%. So why an emergency? Why daily reported? Why children's songs about getting a vaccine?
CNN's Only Moderate Quits
I've been a fan of Lou Dobbs for a long time. He is, IMO, one of the fairest, most knowledgeable commentators in all of TV land. He's not a Fox-like ranting clown, nor is he like one of MSNBC's outright commies. In fact, since 9/11, he has (IMO) made a subtle move to the right on many issues, such as illegal immigration, border security, and the totally incompetent govt. (both Bush and Odumbo) He is also a very strong pro-gun advocate, and very pro-military. Had he not been CNN's top-rated show, and their #1 earner, i think he would've been gone long ago, since they're not known for tolerating anything that moves to the Right.
Last night, five minutes into his show, he told his vast audience it would be his last show. Personally, i was stunned because i know how CNN values his ratings. ($$) But, i'm also aware of how much serious pressure CNN has been under from the highly-organized Marxist groups who control the illegal immigrant movement. They've seen Dobbs as their #1 target because he has exposed them to the entire nation.
A couple of weeks ago, someone fired several shots at him and his wife while they were standing in front of their NJ home. Could it have been connected to his stance on illegals? IMO, yes, but i don't believe that's what made him quit. Is he tired of being the only non-Left voice at CNN? I don't believe so, since he knows he's the #1 guy there. Or perhaps, since many people have been asking him to seek high political office, could that have been the reason? I doubt that also, since it would not have made him quit, on-air, right in the middle of his show.
I would imagine the full story will be coming out soon. Since he's been a strong critic of the Left-wing MSM, i'm sure they'll do all they can to get the facts out, especially if they make Dobbs look bad or wrong in some way...

Denial. It's Not Just A River
Now that more detailed information is coming out about the slaughter at Ft. Hood, a very clear picture is beginning to emerge, at least for those of us who choose to see it. Are we being informed by our govt? No. We are being informed by the media. Is it coming from our media? No. It's coming from foreign media, such as the British press of all places. Our MSM is too busy inventing a defense for the terrorist. I don't know about you, but i find that scary.
For our present govt. and many of it's agencies, what we're seeing is not a pretty picture because it's forcing them to deal with reality, something that has become very "un-PC". You see, in 21st century Amerika, it seems we are ruled by two ideas, political correctness and diversity. And counter ideas have been deemed "anti-social" by the Leftists who rule us. As i've said many times, our addiction to political correctness will be our downfall. Not terrorism, but PC! In a short period of time, it has changed how we speak, how we view the world and each other, how we think, how we vote, and how we respond to serious threats to our very lives. PC has become the new Kool-Aid.
It is now becoming clear that political correctness, and the numbing fear of possibly offending someone or something, may be the reason the Mooselamb TERRORIST was able to slaughter our warriors at Ft. Hood. Perhaps, had the totally-PC'ized clowns at the top levels of our military shown more concern for our troops than they do for being appropriately PC, those brave soldiers might still be alive today. Maybe, if the PC'ized pansies who run the FBI, the CIA, and the Dept. of Homeland Stupidity, been more concerned with protecting this country, than they are with protecting their careers, those fine warriors at Ft. Hood would be hugging their loved ones now, instead of looking up at dirt.
The American sheeple must rise up and "demand" answers as to how this was allowed to happen. They must also demand to know why there are more like-minded Mooselambs in our military, a fact that the TERRORIST killer himself warned them about. And, they must demand that people at the top be made to pay for this outrage. Not just some govt. clerk somewhere, but the fools at the top, else this will become a common occurrence...

We're all familiar with how our computers can pick up a virus and how it can really ruin your day. Well, how about a PC virus that can totally ruin not just your day, but your entire life? This is some "really" scary stuff!
Personally, i believe anyone convicted of a violent crime against a child, and that would include sexual abuse of any kind, to any degree, should be summarily executed. Unfortunately, the powers-that-be don't have the common sense to put me in charge of such matters. If they did, such crimes would cease in a week!
On the other hand, there are also many cases where the mere allegation of such a crime, even a false allegation, is enough to totally destroy someones life. (i've seen it happen) That they are later proved to be innocent doesn't help. The "mark" is carried for life. BE AWARE!!

The first set is the life span of the Berlin Wall.

Tomorrow is the anniversary of the Berlin Wall coming down. It was, for 38 years of my life, the very symbol of oppression. A barrier between those of us who lived in freedom, and those who were under the control of an overbearing government. All run by a central committee who had people imprisoned for not following the rules.
.
It's more than just a little ironic, that the country that forced the Soviet Union into capitulation, is now quickly becoming one of most socialized countries of the western world. It is more galling still to those of us who fought the Cold War.
.
I know about other wars that we've fought. But this one was a 50 year staring contest, and the other guy blinked.
From August 1945, to November 1989, the grand majority of us who served in the military, fought ONLY that war. And it looks to me, like we lost it.
.
To use a common 21st century short hand, I just hope American Revolution 2.0 is a short one. I'm not young anymore, and I'd like to see my grandsons grow up.
.
I'd like to see them have a future. But this morning that future looks bleak. They are about to inherit that which I served to defeat. An overbearing central government.
.
And just for the record, it took me thirty minutes to write this far. It was a little hard to see through tears. If you think that makes me weak or a wimp, it's still, this morning anyway, your right to think what you want. But I always cry when something or someone dear to me dies, or I hear that the dear thing is very sick and may be dying.

I'm going to find some way, to be more active in my community at a grass roots level, to save my country. I took an oath once to do that. And by my own admittance this morning, to you my friends,

I have not lived up to my oath.

I have bitched, complained and voted, and that's about it. It's not enough. I allowed my inactivity to keep my current Congressman, the (dis)Honorable Brad Miller, in office way beyond his usefulness to my district. He voted FOR last nights abortion. He is way too liberal, to represent even my district, even though we have a major university smack in the middle of the district. Real Americans should not be out voted by liberals in academia, or their liberal friends in the neighborhood. And that's all a Congressional District is, a big neighborhood.

I'm going to find the NC Republican Party headquarters this week, and I'm donating this blogging time, to me grandsons, via that office. I'm going to find old fashioned, cast iron, conservative, constitutionalists to back for ALL public offices. I even want my dogs picked up by conservative dog catchers.

A war was declared long ago, against America, by believers in socialism / communism. Last night, they fired directly into my home. Yes, I know they've fired at me before, but this one went right through the kids rooms. I'm going to try to see to it that it doesn't happen again.

Today, Ranking Member of the House Ways and Means Committee Dave Camp (R-MI) released a letter from the non-partisan Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) confirming that the failure to comply with the individual mandate to buy health insurance contained in the Pelosi health care bill (H.R. 3962, as amended) could land people in jail. The JCT letter makes clear that Americans who do not maintain “acceptable health insurance coverage” and who choose not to pay the bill’s new individual mandate tax (generally 2.5% of income), are subject to numerous civil and criminal penalties, including criminal fines of up to $250,000 and imprisonment of up to five years.
In response to the JCT letter, Camp said: “This is the ultimate example of the Democrats’ command-and-control style of governing – buy what we tell you or go to jail. It is outrageous and it should be stopped immediately.”
Key excerpts from the JCT letter appear below:
“H.R. 3962 provides that an individual (or a husband and wife in the case of a joint return) who does not, at any time during the taxable year, maintain acceptable health insurance coverage for himself or herself and each of his or her qualifying children is subject to an additional tax.” [page 1]

“Criminal penalties
Prosecution is authorized under the Code for a variety of offenses. Depending on the level of the noncompliance, the following penalties could apply to an individual:
• Section 7203 – misdemeanor willful failure to pay is punishable by a fine of up to $25,000 and/or imprisonment of up to one year.
• Section 7201 – felony willful evasion is punishable by a fine of up to $250,000 and/or imprisonment of up to five years.” [page 3]
When confronted with this same issue during its consideration of a similar individual mandate tax, the Senate Finance Committee worked on a bipartisan basis to include language in its bill that shielded Americans from civil and criminal penalties. The Pelosi bill, however, contains no similar language protecting American citizens from civil and criminal tax penalties that could include a $250,000 fine and five years in jail.
“The Senate Finance Committee had the good sense to eliminate the extreme penalty of incarceration. Speaker Pelosi’s decision to leave in the jail time provision is a threat to every family who cannot afford the $15,000 premium her plan creates. Fortunately, Republicans have an alternative that will lower health insurance costs without raising taxes or cutting Medicare,” said Camp.
According to the Congressional Budget Office the lowest cost family non-group plan under the Speaker’s bill would cost $15,000 in 2016.
