Senator Ted Kennedy died from his bout with brain cancer. although his politics differed greatly from mine, I respect his committment to his followers and wish his family well at this time

Make sure you save a seat for Obama by the fire.

As I read on another blog; "May he roast in peace."

And that's all the pixels I will waste on him.

Except - I do pitty people who watch anything other than sports on TV. My guess is it will be all Ted all the time for the next 10 days.

Jimbo -

So now we'll have the return of the Michael Jackson story (now that it's been declared a homicide) competing with Ted for coverage. I think my DVD collection is calling.

I'm afraid i don't share Bill O's sentiment for the lady killer. IMO, the Kennedy family has been a serious kink in the air-line of freedom-loving Americans for generations. Starting with their facist, bootlegger father, who literally bought the presidency for JFK, (with the Mafia's help and approval of course), to the useless RFK, who made Elton John look masculine, to fat Teddy, who actually believed all the crap the MSM said about him. They have done, or caused, more damage to the liberties of the American people than any other politicians that i can remember. Of course, if you're part of the Left or far-Left, you would hold the opposite opinion. The slight exception was JFK, who was not as liberal as his brothers. Perhaps, having seen combat in WWII, he had a more realistic view of the world.

Now that he's finally dead, real Americans can breath a bit easier, although we still have to deal with comrade Obummer and his congress, and his media. But thanks to fat Teddy, who was the most liberal memeber of congress, they should all be kept pretty busy for the next week or so, paying homage to their fake king. And don't be surprised if you start hearing Leftists talking about "TeddyCare", since this whole health care mess was his personal crusade.

Personally, i will be flying my Gadsden flag all week, and it won't be at half mast!

That was yesterday. Today is today. Tomorrow I will return to our usual broadcast.

Here's a very interesting article i came across which is about Glen Beck and a topic we discussed the other day. It's a bit of a long read, but IMO, a worthy one. It may make you sick, or may make you reach for your .9mm, or your 12 ga., or your MP-5, or your AR-15, or all of the above!

Did any one in the news happen to mention that Obama started his “vacation” on the first day of Ramadan? He would be fasting for that week. Did he leave Washington so no one would notice?

No one important, Sweety. No one at all.

Can you have some respect? (unlike our liberal friends) I'm in mourning for the passing of a legend.

Once 24 hrs have passed, I will resume my usual rantings. But until then, I will refrain from saying such things as the Senate needs another liberal like the Kennedys need another hole in their "collective" heads. I WILL NOT say that. And I did not place the first comment by "anomymous" either! It was probably SRK.

Take this anyway you want. I lost my 9 yr. old son to a brain tumor over 15 yrs. ago. He fought hard for 3 years. We had his brain removed before cremation and had it sent to Shands Hospital in Gainseville Fl. so they could use it for research into this dread disease. My first thought upon hearing about Teddy; It's a good thing they didn't find the cure.
They had the flag at half-staff at work today. When I was told why, I had to bite my tongue to keep from saying 'Good'.

I'm sure you know more than anyone else what is at stake with status of health care and "reform" first-hand, and not as a know-it-all bystander. My prayers for you and your son.

If you bite your tongue to keep from saying what you feel, they win.

I agree, Anonymous, if that's your real name....
