The United States of Fools.

After 9/11, the Empire State Building regained it's title as the tallest building in NYC, and the one that attracts the most attention from tourists. For some time now, the top of this old icon has been bathed in multi-colored lights at night, for a variety of reasons, none of which are known to me, nor to most other NY'ers. The other night, the lights went on again, but this time they were Red and Yellow. Why? To honor Communist China. No, that's not a typo. It seems the ChiComs are celebrating their 60th anniversary, and one of NYC's pro-communist leftists (we have millions of them here) thought it would be nice for us to give the ChiComs this honor.

Why would such a thing be done for one of the most treacherous, anti-freedom governments on the face of the earth? Well, let's see. Could it be because;

a) There are more communists in NYC than in China? (this could very well be)
b) Because China "literally" owns most of the US? (and that's true, thanks to the corrupt liars in DC)
c) That the ChiComs actually own the building? (that wouldn't surprise me)

Even i'm not old enough to remember, but i wonder if they gave the same honor to Hitler on the anniversary of his taking over Europe. Hmmm....

WTF IS HAPPENING TO THIS COUNTRY!!!

I saw this story this morning and all I could do was shake my head.

As to the NYC Commies, I'd like to see a man-on-the-street poll of this "honor" for one of the most repressive gub'ments in the world. I'm betting the rank and file NYC dweller isn't all that interested in "honoring" the ChiComs.

But, I been wrong before, not often mind you, but it has happened.

Steve, if the poll was done in Manhattan, where the building is, you'd lose the bet.

Dude, I said that I could be wrong. Of course, people being that out of touch is even scarier than the maroons who own the building, considering "honoring" the Chinese Commies. Or any commies.

You'd think after 9/11 the NYCites would see the light. Then again, my ex-NYC liberal cousin is still one of those can't we all just get along types. And she used to work for a company that had offices in Tower 1 at one time.

I'll never fathom the Yankee lib mindset.

No offense to any of you non-lib Yankees.

When they'e from here, it's inbred. The only way to stop it is with a stake through the heart.
