Obama readies steps to fight foreclosures

The Obama administration plans to overhaul how it is tackling the foreclosure crisis, in part by requiring lenders to temporarily slash or eliminate monthly mortgage payments for many borrowers who are unemployed, senior officials said Thursday.
Banks and other lenders would have to reduce the payments to no more than 31 percent of a borrower's income, which would typically be the amount of unemployment insurance, for three to six months. In some cases, administration officials said, a lender could allow a borrower to skip payments altogether.

I wonder how many people the lenders will have to lay off because of this? If the lender's revenues decline, cuts have to come along shortly or else they go belly up. That's the way business works.

Once again, we see how everything Chairman Odumbo is doing seems to have the same end goal. Redistribute the nations wealth from those who earn it, to those who simply want it. Meaning, give everything to blacks. Is that a racist statement? Well, some may think so, but i believe Odumbo's actions are far more racist.
For some time now, we have been watching the culture change in this country. Now the culture has become one where those who are responsible and produce are punished, and those who are irresponsible and simply "reproduce" are rewarded. And, they're being rewarded with all the things you have earned! This will not stop. In fact, it will continue until the majority of people wake-up, something i don't expect to see in my lifetime.

The new JOBS BILL provides a perk to employers. Don't have to pay unemployment insurance to new hires for 8 months, plus some other tax exemptions, etc.
The trick is - there is nothing in the bill that prevents you from firing all your employees, then rehiring them. You get the benefits, they keep their jobs! Good thing congress is on top of things!
There is no such thing as "loop-hole free" legislation. It's how the politicians keep their cash flow alive and well.

But it is far easier to view the consequences of short, focused legislation. When you have to "pass the bill to learn what is in it" is used as an actual justification, there is something awfully wrong.
In a private organization, this would be malfeasance. In congress, it is rewarded.

Obama and his henchmen have said it is a shame to waste a crisis. I am not a prophet, but this could be the crisis that they are looking for to call a "national emergency" in order to have martial law and thereby preventing an election.
I am not saying it is but it is something to think about. And to prepare for.

I have it on good authority, that the administration may find it hard to get troops to enter the streets to run such an "emergency". They're already talking about just what their oath means, in lieu of the current bull in Congress and from the WH.

Pastor, you make a good point and i agree with you. I think most rational people would agree that the American people haven't been pushed this far, and this hard, since the last revolution.
But, if you hold all the power, (as they do right now) with an equal (at least equal) amount of arrogance and superiority, and you know this may be the last time you have the opportunity to get everything you want, they may just go for it. I believe those on the radical Left realize they may never have this much power again to implement their entire wish-list, no matter how bizarre, and no matter what the people think. That makes for a "very" dangerous situation!
The only question is, do a majority of the American people have a breaking point, and if they do, can that point be reached before our country, our culture, our very way of life, is totally changed into something we're only used to seeing in places like Venezuela, N. Korea, and Iran?
