They Are Creating A Powderkeg

Has America reached the tipping point? Has our experiment in liberty passed the point of no return? Is it too late for We the People to reclaim our liberty? I don’t know. I’d like to believe that We the People can reclaim our lost liberty, but I have my doubts. At best, eradicating these Elected Tormentor tyrants will require a concerted, highly focused, counterattack by We the People. Conventional wisdom - as espoused by the usual VRWC suspects - envisions an attack on this homegrown tyranny, at the ballot box. I get that, but I don’t think these wishful thinkers fully appreciate the determination of the enemy to take us where We the People don’t want to go.

The first problem is that the enemy has a critical mass of foot soldiers, ready, willing, and eager to do the bidding of their neo-Marxist masters. Between college indoctrinated hardcore Marxists, and a mushrooming mob of chronically-needy parasites, there is a depressingly large group of people who welcome the coming tyranny.

The second problem is that we’re this close to a dictatorship. All that's needed is the 21st century equivalent of the Reichstag's Fire to justify a declaration of Martial Law. Instead of a ‘fire’, America's self-appointed tyrant will opt for a 'terrorist attack', probably one using a small nuke. Under this scenario, The One will be FORCED to suspend elections, until the 'emergency' is over.

The third problem is one that has been mentioned, in passing, by one - or more - top echelon boom box babblers. I refer to that ‘president for life’ Messiah Barry. You don’t limit your Marxist Messiah to two terms. Now, with the Constitution out of the picture, what’s to stop Barry from following the trail blazed by his pal Hugo ‘Skipper’ Chavez? I don’t know how this one will work, but I do know that the Demoncrat assholes are feverishly working on it. If you’re going ‘all in’ that he’s, at most, a two-term POTUS, you need to keep an eye on this one.

Finally, I sense that too many otherwise intelligent individuals don’t understand how close we are to outright tyranny. Too many people are distracted by the shiny objects which festoon DemonCare. Too many people don’t see the big picture. They don’t see that the relationship between We the People and our government has been changed for the worse. We the People are no longer ‘self-governing’ through our duly elected representatives. We the People are now RULED, by an entrenched group of liberty-hating assholes, who spit on the Founding Fathers, the Constitution, the shining city on the hill, and America itself.

When I think this through, my most optimistic assessment sees We the People doing a rear-guard action to slow down the tyranny. At best, this is a temporary measure which will buy us time to marshal our forces for what we all know is coming: "a Second American Revolution". Are we up to the challenge?

Are we ready to put it all on the line in defense of our liberty birthright? I hope so, but winning this fight is, at best, a long shot...

"If Congress can require you to buy health insurance because of the ways in which your uncovered existence effects interstate commerce or because it can tax you in an effort to force you to do any old thing it wants you to, it is hard to see what — save some other constitutional restriction — it cannot require you to do or prohibit you from doing."

Yeah, what next? A single political party we're all required to join?

Or maybe a big yellow "C" on our outside clothes?

I believe that it will be difficult to change the direction that this nation is headed. We have too many people that have their hands in the public til.
If Rep. Conyers of Michigan has his way every convicted felon will be given the vote, which in all probability will go to the Dems.

By the wway, explain to me how we're "close to a dictatorship" when Obama WON the election with 53% of the vote?

You people just can't accept defeat. Not in 2006, not in 2008, not last Sunday.

You're dangerous and un-American.

hitler won the vote too

BTW, the Obama girls were shopping at Dylan's Candy Store here in Manhattan the other day. What's all this about Michelle's crusade against obesity?

So let me see, when Bush won, he was wrong, when Obama won he was right?

It's all a matter of degrees? BULL. SHIT.

It's NOT just a matter of win or lose the election, it's a matter of CONSTITUTIONALITY!! They want to force citizens to BUY "X" product, because Congress says they must. It's not what the founders had in mind, regardless of what the Dragon Lady from San Fran says.

Oh, and finally, your a dumb fuck.

Suppose Bush had pushed for a law saying everyone HAD to own a gun? It's for their own protection, it keeps them from needing emergency help from the police, it's statistically proven that states with higher gun ownership have less crime.

But, is it LEGAL?

it should be

I should get a new job .. imagine this .. you work on a 6-month redline for appeals with a goal of 4 months (6 months is the insurance company deadline). Some consultants come in and declare the new redline to be 2 months the the EVP comes down on your department demanding to know why we are 2 months behind (keep in mind the day before we were 2 months ahead and only behind because of an arbitrary change). So now you are spending this week doing 4 months worth of work. I LOVE consultants.

Bush got everything he wanted and more. Huge tax cuts, Medicare Part D, wars and he even got to try his hand at bankrupting the country by doubling the debt.

One of his tax cut bills won because Cheney broke the tie in the Senate. Medicare Part D passed because they kept the vote open in the House for an unprecedented 6 hours! There was no provision to fund Medicare Part D either, just more deficit spending. And then you jerks talk about deficits.

He lost a republican Congress in 2006, what many people blame on opposition to the wars with a MAJORITY against continued occupation of Iraq.

What did bush do? He ignored the MAJORITY and pushed the surge.

You people LOST the election, LOST control of Congress and LOST the health care vote. You can keep throwing tantrums but we will eventually see you living on the wrong side of barbed wire if you keep it up.

I don't usually respond to fools, but the above statement shows what the left is planning for all who are vocal in their opposition to tyranny.
It may be that we are getting what we deserve because of our apathy.

putting the opposition behind barbed wire is what Hitler did...and anyass wonders why some folk make the comparison to Obama

and here we are 1 year after Obama was sworn in and my (updated) spell checker still sez that Obama is misspelled....what's up with that?

Yay! The new health care bill is great!

I know of a company that is planning in 2014 to drop health care for employees because the $2K per year fine is less than the cost of health insurance. A counter arguement is to pay only $2k per year, and having employees cover the rest, or they can get their own insurance.

Thanks Obama! You are saving the companies money.

I was sent this quote by a friend and i couldn't agree more. One look at this government proves we are our own worst enemies.

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to an electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.

Another blurb from the liberal, open-minded, can't we all just get along troll,

"...living on the wrong side of barbed wire..."

Not until you and your buddies become bullet proof, asshole. Because we won't just line up and go quietly. The Nazis taught us to NOT listen to that kind of crap. Pol Pot reaffirmed it, Idi Amin put the exclamation point on it, and the Chi Coms show us every fucking day that it's better to die fighting than go away quietly.

C'mon, smart ass, just you try it...
