There is a letter to the editor in the local paper today and when I read the comments I was shocked to read this:
"You do like getting your letters printed don't you? I read it this morning in the Star Ledger and now in the Courier News as well. The murder of the security guard is directly related to Faux News and the right wing commentators inciting people. Not Barack Obama.
Stop looking for conspiracies where they don't exist please."
This person I doubt is smart enough to have originated this idea so is there a leftist outlet blaming "right-wing commentators" on Fox News for inciting violence? I bet she means Glenn Beck and/or the tea party movement that people attribute to Fox News. This is along the lines of what was posted yesterday.

I guess the one thing I disagree with on the "BOHICA vs The World" Issue is this.
Why, after seeing how stupidly they rule and legislate, do we think the leaders in other countries are SO smart as to be laughing at our weak knee'd, lily livered, hand wringing leader?
It would appear to me that the entire world is being run by the Cult of Personality. Few leaders, elected officials, rulers, royals, etc, are there because of their own doing. They've fallen into it through family connections or they've been shoved forward by faceless puppeteers. And even IF the world leaders ARE laughing, who gives a rats hat? Laughing and shooting at us are miles apart, yet, both seem inevitable.
Hopefully, the Idiotarians in control, will be willing to shoot back.
What we need to do is elect better officials here, stop sending money there and tell them to kiss our American asses everywhere. Or sharpen the guillotines and solve this ourselves.
Missy, i heard the same thing mentioned on PMSNBC by their in-house liberal RINO, Joe Scarborough and some of his left-wing guests. It seems that since the attacks on Limbaugh, then Palin, then Cheney, then Palin again, and now Cheney again, haven't worked, (they made the mistake of picking on 3 counterpunchers) they're targeting Fox. Again. The Left prays for psychos like the museum shooter, since it gives them a very wide brush with which to paint all of us "unenlightened non-believers" with.
I don't think they're going after Fox's newest retard yet, (Glen Beck) since i haven't heard him mentioned on any of the enemy networks and probably hasn't made it onto their radar screens yet. I doubt they take him serious. I know i don't.

I like Glenn Beck.
IMO, i just don't think Fox needed yet another buffoon with an out of control ego, constantly pimping his newsletter, web site, personal appearances, and book. He might also try shutting up and giving his guests a chance to speak.
Although i fully agree with his apparent political beliefs, he needs to grow up and stop acting like he's on the cartoon channel. Oh wait, he is!

Not a thing Bill. I'm just against buffoons. Again, as for his stated politics, i agree 110%. But, as with Limbaugh, it's his personality/delivery that lights my fuse.
Sven, i read Stossel's excellent review and did learn a few personal things about Beck that i hadn't known. No doubt he deserves a great deal of credit for winning his personal battles, and yes, his wife is kinda hot. (i saw Stossel interview them on TV where BTW, Beck wasn't acting like a clown)
We all know how very few public spokespeople conservatives have today. I guess i just feel they should be a bit more serious about how they come across. Again, for me, it's that show-biz "goofyness" that (to me) appears phony. That's not to say Beck doesn't truly believe what he says. Then again, if so many Leftists hate him, he's gotta be a good guy!
Now i'm going to say 10 Hail Mary's for putting a frown on Lady-Bug's face.
