President Barack Obama, under growing criticism for not seeking to end the ban on openly gay men and women in the military, is extending benefits to same-sex partners of federal employees.
So all that one has to do is get a same sex roommate and pretend to be gay for that person to get the same benefits as a federal employee? Hmmmmm.

Apparently, when you make yourself the ruler of a nation, you can do things like this. All past presidents had to be bothered with silly things like, congressional and/or public approval in order to make such dramatic and drastic changes. But that was back when this was a free country.
Remember those days, when the people actually had something to say about what was being done to them and their country? Remember when there was a system of checks and balances in the government, and those on the Left demanded that it work? Apparently not, since We The People seem to have lost our voice. And our common sense.
This cute move by Yobama, which of course is simply a payback for the political support he received from gays, will backfire, and big time. Traditionally, gay relationships tend to be far more unstable than hetrosexual ones. What happens to the legal status being bestowed upon these partners when they're out cruising the back alleys, pick-up another partner, and their relationships break up? Are we simply creating another feeding frenzy for the lawyers?
