Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it a HUGE no-no to depict, draw, paint or otherwise create an image of the Prophet? Haven't there been killings, bombings, murders, assaults, etc, in the NAME of the all powerful Allah, over images created of Muhammad? And it's NOT just cartoons either.

At any rate, the moron who produced both the Rings Trilogy and the Matrix Trilogy has decided to produce this big budget nightmare. I hope he's wearing bomb proof skivvies and living in seclusion, willing to forgo London / Hollywood premieres, decided being rich and in the public eye is over rated. Because he'll last about as long as a corn dog at Michael Moore's house, if even one Imam, or other radical Muslim nut takes offense.

He'd still have to have a voice, to "be" his prospective. And what did Muhammad sound like? James Earl Jones? Liam Neeson? Peewee Herman?
And I'm telling you, some crazed butt bomber will take offense. If nothing else they'll get offended because it's shot from the stand point of the Shia or Sunni beliefs, and that gets up the ire of the other side. No bad blood there, huh?
Or it was shot by an infidel, stars infidels and the wife of the Prophet shouldn't be played by a woman who previously played a whore, working mother, serial killer, the prophets father was not tall, thin, short, fat, didn't have red hair...you name it, they'll attack it. Or at least that's the way it's been up until now.
And none of what's been mentioned includes the "want" of the western movie goers to SEE a movie about Muhammad. As they say in Hollyweird, "...where's the BUZZ?"
I've got no need to trash the idea, except for the obvious, it's just another reason for these crazy MFers to attack us, and our present leaders are better at picking dog breeds than they are at protecting the country.
Too many potential problems, and where's the benefit? In the history of bad ideas, this is right up there near the top, IMHO.
